Services
This is our Basic Package that includes Cremation and a Decorative Rainbow Bridge Tin Urn. Communal cremation services include the gentle pickup of your pet from your home or veterinarian hospital, then your pet is cremated in a group setting with other pets. This option maintains a high level of dignity at a modest cost.
Rainbow Bridge has been in the small animal business for 20 years and have always shown much respect to the pets we pick up. Having horses of our own and seeing the process of removal after your horse passes on, we've thought there has to be a better way. Many horse owners can not watch or even be on property when the removal service takes place and being a large animal, this can be traumatic for everyone.
While some providers offer the option of privately viewed cremation, we at Rainbow Bridge believe that every pet and owner deserve this security without the added trauma of having to view the cremation. In order to ensure that your pet is treated with the utmost care, each and every pet is issued a unique metal identification disc at the time it is received.

We lost our buddy Granger, a 8 yr old sheperd very quickly, it left us a bit shocked, & heartbroken. I called Rainbow Bridge to spare my husband further heartbreak of having to bury Granger, it also helps feeling they're somehow still near you making it a bit easier to get through the grieving process. Amber was very understanding to what i needed, she let me know what would happen step by step, she drove 50 miles to my home & was here within 2 hours of our speaking to pick up Granger.
They also drove back here to bring us his urn & collar, it was all tastefully packaged in a nice bag. They truly made a heartbreaking time a bit easier. Its def worth every penny for the running they do & service they provide, c tell they are pet lovers & understand. Highly recommend Rainbow Bridge. Thank you Amber & team orf the help yall provided us.

Unfortunately due to lack of communication with their clients I do not recommend services provided by RBPC. I have called multiple times during their normal business hours, just to listen to a voice mail. I have also left multiple messages without a call back. Not sure how this business is ran, but loosing a pet is heartbreaking enough and for them to not have the common COURTESY to return a potential clients phone call is appalling.

I didn't know home pickup and after hours pick up were an option until last night. I called Rainbow Bridge and one other Pet memorial company nearby. Rainbow Bridge returned my call in 4 minutes, while the other company still hasn't returned my call to their answering service, 14 hours later. Rainbow Bridge was great! They got there fast, were incredibly nice and respectful with my pup. I was so scattered and forgot my purse, they just said to call next week and handle the rest of it. I highly recommend these guys.

Butch Garza and his amazing team at Rainbow Bridge Pet Crematory has lovingly helped my family over the last 15 years. His commitment to integrity is second to none. I recommend Rainbow Bridge to everyone I know because I know that they care. They ensure that the remains you receive are indeed your the remains of your dearly departed. Thank you Butch and Rainbow Bridge Team for all that you do for Central Texas!

Our experience with Rainbow Bridge was beyond excellent. Their employee, Tara, was exceptional! She was kind, empathetic, sensitive, and professional. She picked up our sweet Daisy Mae promptly and communicated the process to us in a kind, gentle manner, knowing how upset we were. We recommend their services to everyone! Sincerely, Curtis and Frances Parsons

A few weeks back we lost our dog, due to heartworm treatment through Banfield. Her remains were sent to Rainbow Bridge Pet Crematory, we received them today. We were transferring her ashes into an urn, when we felt a huge metal rod in the bag as well as two screws. We made a call to the crematory, they asked if our dog had any surgeries, no she hasn't.
The rod that was found in her ashes, is called a buttress strap from a cruciate ligament surgery. From another dog. It's very disturbing to know that they either put another pets piece in her remains, or it isn't even her remains, or it's a bunch of animals remains. The box her ashes were in when we picked them up was very beautiful, but the beauty of the box was quickly shadowed by the ashes themselves.

Words can not express how grateful we are to Rainbow Bridge for taking such good care of my sweet dear Sabine. My baby girl was my whole life. Tears still flow and my heart still aches, but I know she is in a better place, free from pain and suffering. Picking up her ashes was the hardest trip we have ever had to make to our vet's office. Seeing the blankie I wrapped her in when she passed away in my arms and her ashes in the beautifully crafted wooden keepsake box with the poems brought us to tears, but we now have baby girl home with us which brings extreme comfort to our family. Thank you so much Butch! ~Hernandez Family

I apologize if my review is more emotional. The quality of work that the RBC offers is great. The wooden box in which my furbaby returned was branded with paw prints and her name laser cut into the top. The turnaround time for her remains to return to the vet was rather quick considering that we were coming up on the weekend. I very much appreciate the services offered by RBC.
The 3 stars is for the lack of communication among staff and clients. My kid deteriorated rather quickly (within the course of 1 wk) and we were in shock, but ultimately decided to euthanize on Sept 17. We had used RBC in the past for our hamsters and were relieved to know that our vet also used them for cremations. The day she passed, I realized that I had missed out on collecting a paw print and fur.
I quickly called my vet before closing (around 5:28p) and was informed that RBC had already collected her. I in turn called RBC at 5:37p and left a message requesting a paw print and fur, if possible. There was also an afterhours number which I called at 5:39p. I left a voice message for Heath and he returned my call within 8 mins. Heath was very accommodating and expressed that he would be able to fulfill our requests being that she had not been cremated yet.
So imagine my surprise when on Sept 21st, we went to pick up her remains and the other items were missing. Our vet called RBC and was told that my original message was not received until Saturday. I explained that I had also called the emergency line on Sept 17th and spoken with a live person while the cremation certificate states her body was not cremated until Sept 18th.
As it is, I'm upset with myself for not having gathered mementos like these while she was alive, but I'm equally disappointed that I attempted to make these arrangements with RBC and the request was not fulfilled. On Sept 21st, I called and left a message for RBC to try and figure out where the loss of communication occurred, and to this day I have yet to receive a response (October 1st).
I wanted to know what the process was for placing requests and policies/protocols in place to prevent these emotional heartaches from occurring? I would like to know if this was a matter of costs/expenses with the pkg we purchased or if someone just forgot? I would have paid extra, and maybe I should have communicated that when speaking with the emergency representative. I hope RBC reads this and contacts me because, to put it quite simply, I am just looking for closure.

I have had to put 3 senior kitties to sleep since July 4 this year. In the past my vets have used different pet crematoriums. The Rainbow Bridge Pet Crematory is by far the most personal one I have ever been involved with. They do just a beautiful job and the turnaround is very fast. The accompanying literature, poems & certificate which comes with the beautiful little engraved box is so lovely and so comforting. I would highly recommend them.
