We have been blessed with six beautiful acres in the Heritage District of Old Town Buda and we would like for you and your best friend(s) to enjoy it! We are in the business of molding owners and their dogs into becoming great companions. This requires leadership on your part. Changing behaviors in dogs is usually fairly easy: mark, reward, correct and repeat with good timing. However, behavior changes we teach you or we directly bring about do not last if you do not understand the process and fully accept your responsibility to be the leader.
Our six play yards and small and large dog parks combined with our professional staff and screening process assures the right fit for your canine companion(s). Whether your goal is exercise, training, social interaction or simply a break for you for the day, Big Oaks will see to it that your dog will want to come again for additional play and exercise in a beautiful and convenient setting. Low energy pet? We have that one covered, too!
Making your dog feel at home is our first priority. Our groomer and assistants naturally transmit a calming energy while performing their professional skills in a clean, mellow environment. Working for a living? Treat your pet to a day at the spa. Drop-off as early as 7:30 am and pick up as late as 6:00 pm, Monday - Friday, no additional charge!

I tried to reschedule my grooming but they wouldn't allow me to unless I sent them another 20$. Don't come here cause they're not understanding and very inconsiderate of your time and money I understand for cancellations taking the full amount but I just wanted to reschedule. The lady on the phone was very nice and polite but it's just a waste of time coming here if you have bumps in the road or something comes up.
I needed to revaccinated my dog cause when I sent it in I noticed it was overdue and I just wanted to reschedule within the time frame of me getting her vaccinated and valid for her next groom and they were very inconsiderate about that.

My breeder recommended Big Oaks for their training program as he has used their services for all his dogs. I started with the puppy training and then sent my German Shorthair Pointer to train with Alex on-site for 6 weeks. Every week when I came to work with her, I was impressed by how much she has learned. I now take her everywhere with me and I get so many compliments on how well she behaves. When we get another pup, I'll be coming back to work with Alex.

I am so happy with Big Oaks Kennel. We have boarded our black and tan coonhound here for a while, but just recently put him through the board and train program with Alex. We have had our dog back for about a week and I cannot express how impressed I am. Our dogs behavior has improved drastically and I am grateful that Alex is on the team, he is awesome!

This place is amazing. They have amazing staff, most notably their newest trainer Alex. They took my dog from being absolutely terrified (rescue COVID pup) of everything to being one of the most confident pups in just a few weeks. Their prices are extremely reasonable and they take very good care of the pups when in boarding.

This place is terrible. Additional charges that were previously undisclosed and they hold your dog until you pay them. They didn't finish the services agreed upon, then doubled the charge at pickup. So now we have a half bathed dog without clipped nails and not brushed. But still paid $100. Our dog was nervous (first time, new re-home). They had no strategies to get the agreed upon services completed. Avoid this place!
