Dr. Bill Sanders cropped my Standard Schnauzer's ears for my Houston breeder. He is also very close to where I live in the DFW area. I actually met him at my breeder's place outside Houston where he visited with the litter for some after care and had drinks and dinner with all of us. He is now my vet. He loves my boy Kodi and we sometimes see him at dog shows also.
When my friend's mini got Kennel Cough I was in the area and they let us stop in for antibiotics without a prescheduled appointment to get him treated ASAP. I haven't boarder. I have seen some comments about vaccines. Yes, they like vaccines a lot here, but when I took my dog to all the OK/TX dogshows this summer, many got Kennel Cough inc my friend's mini but Kodi did not and I credit that to having a bordetella booster just before the circuit started. Dr. Bill is a wonderful person who cares greatly for animals.

Just finished boarding my dogs there. They quoted very competitive prices for boarding, but then they ran a bunch of unnecessary tests (I had just taken them to their regular vet for vaccinations and worming) and gave shots without calling me or emailing me. When I picked them up, my bill was double what they quoted me!

I called about boarding my 2 dogs for one night and Amber gave me the rate but failed to mention that it's charged DAILY not nightly and if you pick up on Sunday the only time for pick up is at 4 and if you board past noon it's an extra day charge. Thankfully I read through the website so I knew that but it was not disclosed by Amber. I specifically asked is there any other charges other than boarding and was told only flea and tick meds if not currently on those.
So I made sure my dogs had their medicine the day before drop off. The morning I went to drop the dogs off the people that came out to get the dogs said "oh you have to have a heart worm test and a fecal exam and we use a different flea and tick medicine" So, heartworm test and fecal exam is $45 for each dog and their specific flea Med is $20 each.
Total cost for ONE DAY stay for 2 dogs over $150. We took our dogs home. I would not leave my pets with a vet that was so dishonest and misleading! I don't mind fees and I get if you have certain tests/meds before boarding but when you are asked is there "ANY other fees other than boarding" and told "No, that's it". That's a lie people! Be aware of all the up charges!

WE live around the corner have used Dr. Bill as our vet and boarded pups when we had to go out of town. Dr. Bills dogs are around the boarded dogs as well so rest assured your dog will be checked and have all the VACCINES its not to much to ask to drop off a healthy dog and pick up a healthy dog. I dont know why all the others complain about getting ALL the vaccinations.
My dogs are Catahoulas I breed them as well he takes care of all the puppies first shots. We can take our dogs up there to swim in his in ground dog pool anytime and on really hot days we / they love this! Dr. Bill is super nice and staff is as well although they tend to be on the busy side almost all the time.

I would NOT recommend Pet Country Spa for several reasons: 1- Poor communication: Pick-up times on Sunday were not clearly relayed to me. I initially arrived before lunch and no one was there, although they said someone is on site 24/7 2- Inconvenient: no way to contact staff if you pick up on a Sunday 3- Unprofessional: Arrived at 4pm, lights were out, and I had to bang on the door to get in.
The staff was surprised to see me although I previously relayed when I would be there. He said "we are closed" although they are open "4-6" for pick-up. He proceeded to say "YOUR DOG IS NOT HERE". After insisting, he retrieved my pet who did not appear happy at all. I am disgusted. What is really going on at this place!?

This is a wonderful place Otto, Greta, Tobi And Max have all had their ears cropped there. All perfect! Dr Sanders is a professional kindly person who loves all animals. Wish more vets were like him. Haslet Vet Clinic should take a look at what a vet clinic is supposed to be. They are rude cold and greedy. Not at Dr. Sanders everyone is kind. God bless you all and Merry Xmas to Dr. Sanders and staff.

Dr Sanders is such a wonderful person. He took so much wonderful care for our beautiful fur baby. We adopted her age of senior years for a dog. Had been seriously abused, shaking so scared, my heart was drawn to her, we gave her a wonderful life and she was so happy. Her little body just was giving out, stopped eating and drinking, list so much weight and seemed to be suffering.
We called Dr Sanders office, had us brother in right away. He let me hold her while he put her asleep and she crossed over the rainbow bridge to heaven. Dr Sand6and all the staff were so compassionate gave us all the time we needed to say goodbye to her. Excellent care

One star because the only thing they did right was keep the dog alive. My boyfriends family had their dog boarded here and they asked me to pick her up for them. When I told them I was their to pick her up, it was weird she didn't ask for my ID or any proof I was her owner. While the lady carried her to the front she literally says "she's not happy with me because I didn't feed her today" ummm it was 5pm why tf hasn't she been fed all day?
When she put her on the floor, I notice she's not using her back leg AT ALL. She's still happy but she's running around on 3 legs. I said "oh, what happened to her? Did she get hurt? Did other dogs trample over her?" (Because she's a small dog) The lady tells me that the dog is just dramatic, and she just started doing it a couple days ago for attention.
Then she gives me an empty bottle of medicine that the Vet has given her. The family was NOT informed she had been hurt or that she was given medicine. I asked for her blanket they brought with her and she told me they lost it and she tried to give me someone else's Victoria secret blanket even though I told her it was tan (she still asked if I wanted it anyways knowing it wasn't mine). Luckily the dog is walking fine 2 months later. Very unprofessional.

Dr Sanders is a very generous and knowledgeable veterinarian. The facilities are maintained to the upmost cleanliness. There's even a beautiful pool for exercise! He treated our pets like they were his own and gave thorough, specialized care. His many years in this field give him an experienced wisdom that cannot be taught through schooling alone.

At first, I had a good experience at Pet Country Spa, but now I will never leave my pet there again. When I picked up my dog after the last stay, they had given her a round of vaccines without my consent. Even though I told them she had already received the vaccines the week before from our normal vet and was told they would ask the clinic for the record, the shots were still given. When informed of the mistake, they refused to refund my money and made me feel as if it were my fault! Never again!

Beware of this place. I will never come back. Every time we board, they come up with some shot or test that "must" be done to board. This time, even though my dog is current on her shots, they add 4 more shots and tests. I didn't authorize them, but they did them anyway and forced me to pay before I got my dog.

NO NO NO! This is the worst vet I've ever dealt with. Required a flu shot in order to groom my baby, then threw in a Bordetella vaccine on top of it! Both vaccines in the same day are toxic. Our baby is very very sick! He's been "monitoring" her blood work for 3 weeks and now over $600 later, he decides he's washed his hands of her and says he can't help because he has no clue how to treat this? Unbelievable! Please, do not risk your fur baby's life by putting it in Dr. Sanders' care. I still don't know if my baby will make it out of this.
