I have been going to Bevlab for over 15 years. Well, I was until the pandemic. It seems like every few months now since the pandemic they have a new excuse for limited curbside service. Which would be a very understandable service change in 2020/21. But as of June 2022, they are citing construction as the reason for this curbside service. It is time to stop this now.

I also noticed that they recently introduced an offsite call-center service. I just don't feel comfortable taking my most beloved living creatures and handing them off to somebody I can't see or talk to. I have a feeling this place is going down the tubes unfortunately. It's really sad because they had some great vets and in the past, they were very helpful. I hope this isn't a foreboding sign, and I hope the business improves again. It is not doing well right now.

We absolutely love BevLab! My cat Boots and I have been coming to see Dr. Nava and Dr. Plowe and her staff for several years now and I know that my animal is in good hands when I'm there. Everyone is so kind and compassionate, and they treat my pet like I would treat her. Their facility is clean, inviting and they really go out of their way to make you as an owner feel supported and comforted knowing your pet is in great hands.

Awesome caring people. Dr. Plowe has cared for my guys for 6 years and feels like a member of the family. Sues grooming services are top notch. Newer staff since covid, some good, some.well. Trust my guys with them still

This is my second time bringing in my cat. Dr. Plowe and the vet assistant were so sweet to my cat. They did such a good job with comforting him. I left the appointment with my concerns acknowledged and addressed.

I had a great experience at this facility in petsmart in Crestwood. They sincerely care about animals and it shows upon arrival. My dog was a bit afraid and they made him feel welcome and even gave him treats after the procedure to calm him down. The front desk veronica was very helpful and so was Michelle the nurse among the staff members were also very professional.

I never seen this kind of personal attention.not even with my personal doctor lol . They really care about the animals here and I will returned. My only complaint is the vet prices ( vet visit $60 I believe?). I can't believe you have to pay this much for an appointment . Otherwise outstanding service, ethical and professional. I sincerely thank them for being so kind to animals. God bless them.

Dr. Plowe is a great vet and really takes the time to walk me through all the details to keep my dogs healthy. Vet techs are so knowledgeable and kind. The Office staff turn into friends, they know my dogs and details of their health. Sue the groomer is loving, kind and very patient. I never worry about my dogs treatment they are always in good hands!

Bevlab is great! Milo had his first appointment here yesterday. The place is super clean, staff super-friendly and professional. Dr. answered all the questions and concerns I had. All procedures were thoroughly explained as well as the medication for Milo. Blood-work results are prompt (got them today). I could not have entrusted my pup with a better care team. The prices are a bit on the higher side, however it is worth the pay.

Just started taking my new puppy here and they have been great! I had a problem with my pup excessively itching himself, I sent in videos and they had a vet call me back within 3 days to reassure he was ok! Very great customer service, Dr. Plowe is the BEST, she is so nice and just so caring of our babies. Dr. Wardrip is amazing too, the most important thing to me about a vet is trusting who is caring for him, especially since we still cannot go in.

Their whole staff is great, even the techs. Also very reasonably priced compared to others in the area. It is such a reassuring feeling knowing they aren't only in it for the money. I will never go anywhere else.

Bevlab was referred to me by a friend and I thank her everyday. Bevlab has been the best to me and my babies, Duke and Brodie and Brodie is a handful. However, Bevlab is professional, organized, trustworthy and they truly love our pets and care about the welfare of our babies. My two are groomed, boarded and receives all shots and any medical attention here.

One stop shop sorta speak. They are amazing and they recommended my trainer who is also great. As you see they are very well taken care and Brodie likes to watch TV lol well, Bevlab is the place that treats your pet like there own.

I gave them 4 stars because they are AWESOME customer service great people that work their great i have been taking my pets there for years! Never a issue. BUT. I am shocked at their covid policies.absolutely holds no water and extremely strange.i have had emotional battles with the logic but after my last visit i decided to wait until things get better as far as covid.for any further appointments with any of my pets.or got to a pet clinic thats a bit more level headed under the circumstances.

Do we wait individually outside the grocery stores and call our order in and they the come out and take our orders and money then go get the grocery and come out and give to us? No. We go in 100's at a time with our masks. Do we do the same for restaurants.? No. in fact.80 % of restaurants open you have your masks on going in.then one you walk through the doors you take it off and sit down.with 30 people or more in there also with their masks off.

When we go to a doctors visit.do they have you sit in your car.call them.they come out and get you and the bring you back out.and they do this for every patient? No. You go in with your mask on and sit 6 feet apart.at times there can be 5 or more in a waiting room. WHO EVER made their covid policy is far off base and extremely illogical.the pet owner has no clue where any of the doctors or staff has been.i guarantee that most all the staff has participated in all of the above weekly.

This covid deal have cause the normally educated and well thinking individuals to become extremely irrational and confused in their thought process. I would beg those who are the ones making these drop off appointment rules.to reevaluate these covid procedures they have there Its not just there.that has SOME ODD rules.in over a year.this is the most extremely and there is ABSOLUTELY NO SCIENCE that would motivate such policies.

This makes it very hard for scheduling and business flow.as u have observed. Before covid their lots were always filled at any given time i get go there there are atleast 2 to 4 people waiting before i walking in and by the time i leave 6 people waiting.now ever day and various times of the day.there may be zero or as much as two waiting in the parking lot.

Please change your covid rules.allow 3 to 4 people in at a time with their pets.you have the room to allow 6 feet apart with 3 to 4 at a time.with masks on people MUCH prefer to go in and be with their pets till the moment you take the pet out the examination room.the pets much prefers that.i have raise my pets like little people so i know they are VERY stressed under these covid guidelines you have.

Just a disturbing observation.i love you guys but who ever is making your covid rules have allowed the various confusions. irrational directions by elected officials.fear mongering. to ruin common sense.

I did a bit of research and this group received high praise. Unfortunately that was not the case with my dog. He was seen mutiple times for routine care, shots & even dental work! He was given a multitude of meds all to my expense. He was just seen in January yet no one noticed he was pale, losing weight or his enlarged abdomen! I had to put him down as a simple probe showed a tumor on his spleen which was bleedin. My heart is broken!

This animal hospital is just plain excellent. We received such superior service that we were speechless. The staff were so nice and caring. The veterinarian was very detailed and extremely helpful. I would recommend this everyone. Thanks guys.

Best veterinarian officeI've been to in years! The doctors are very thorough with my pets. My pet was diagnosed with only kidney problems by Kragness and Bevlab did a more thorough exam and found out my pet has hyperthyroidism. My pet is now thriving and gaining weight.

Over the years I've had two cats who have needed surgeries and they've done a great job both times. They are also are go-to regular vet. I specifically recommend Dr Plowe, Dr Nava and Dr Nevis (I had a less-than-stellar experience with another doctor there) But this team has done a great job and I can tell they actually care about my pets.

Even the receptionists remember my cat who had a complicated surgery (and its not just because its on a file they're looking at, because sometimes its as soon as I walk in). No place is perfect, but I think they are really doing their best here and I get more straight answers from them than other vets I used to use in the area.

I blame this hospital for the death of my Puppy. First of all their all rude. No professionalism what so ever. Makes you feel like their in it for the paycheck and not the love. Anywho my dog was in a erratic state my family and I rushed him there because it was closer and we live the next town over. We're inside the lady say "I need to see if any dr would even see you" he's all caught up on shots etc. finally we see someone.

My dog is still under my little brother full command. The dr wanted to see his eyes which were fully Dialated and it didn't take a rock scientist to know. My puppy is 14 pounds a little pup. A poodle terrier. Why it took 3 of them to hold him down and make him start having a sezier is beyond me. Then THEN THEN AS SOON AS THEY FORCE HIM TO HAVE ONE.THE DR TURNS TO ME AND IMMEDIATELY SAYS "well you need to take him somewhere that's 24 hours because we Aren't" I'm puzzled as hell at this point because he wasn't in this condition at all upon bringing him there.

She continues with I will give him a volume shot so you can make it to a 24 hour facility. The closes 24 faculty is approximately 20 mimuntes in Orland Park. So at least the cold heart B's gave us a towel to wrap him in, still in a panic still seizing. We get back in to our car to take him to a 24 hour hospital. But not before charging me $175 for a volume shot. I WOULDNT RECOMMEND TAKING YOUR WORST ENEMY TO HOSPITAL.

They take such great care of my pup! The vet techs and vets have always made an extra effort to make my dog feel less anxious. I had an awesome experience with Dr. Nava, but all the vets are great! The ladies at the front desk are always very friendly and helpful.

We've been going to Bevlab for over 20 years and have received nothing but excellent service from the vets and staff here for our cats. From Dr. McLain to Dr. Plowe, our fur babies have been treated with care, concern and abundant adoration. They've seen us through the joy and heartbreak that comes with being a pet parent with sharing and support. They're open to any questions we have, treating our inquiries with respect and going the extra mile to find answers if not readily known. Our newest cats, Sugarfoot and Smokey, seem to approve of them, too. Congratulations to Bevlab and staff on their 50th anniversary of excellence!

Rude and very unprofessional. My dog had never been nervous going to the vet, he's 11, the minute we walked in the door he wanted to leave. It's very run down and doesn't seem very clean. I went to get medication for my dog and this was my first visit. They charged me for a visit and the medication is $72. Then when I called for a refill, I was told he needed blood work to get the refill and there would be no charge for a visit.

When I went for the blood work they told me there was going to be an office visit charge. At the second visit I was informed of a less expensive, less side effect medication where he would not need blood work! When I talked to the office manager and asked why I wasn't given these options during my first visit and I would have saved myself a bunch of time and money, she kept rationalizing why what they did was ok.

Not a note of compassion or empathy for my having to pay for expensive medications and an office visit and an unnecessary blood test. None, she talked down to me as if I was bothering her. She also hung up the phone in the middle of the conversation! I called back and was told the office manager was in surgery and that she would not be treating my animal anymore. Not a place I would want to bring loved ones.

Always have had a wonderful experience with the staff here. The groomers are wonderful! The advice and care my pups receive make me feel confident were doing the best for them no matter how trivial or difficult the decision.

I take my dog to the the vet at Bevlab but my recent visit was to the groomer. My dog is large and is quite a handful and does not like being separated from him nor does he like being groomed or nails clipped. I was very pleased with his grooming and an added benefit is knowing that, if needed, there are vets in the building.

So, I've had a sick kitty for quite some time. She was sick for over a month, just having diarrhea. I brought her in and the staff was wonderful and caring about everything. However, my vet came in and basically didn't do anything. She asked me some arbitrary questions, and just poked around for a bit. So, if a cat is sick, wouldn't you think the doctor would take her temperature? It's a pain in the ass, pun intended, to give a cat a rectal thermostat.

It isn't fun for the cat, and not fun for the vet. However, this should have been done when I went in. Honestly, I can't say what the vet actually did but give me a bill.

After taking my dog to a few other vets before finding Bevlab, it was pretty much night and day. My dog is loud and very fearful when entering a vet office, the employees at this office aren't offended or angered by my dog's big mouth. We've been seeing Dr. Nava. She is kind, helpful, patient and knowledgeable. Dr. Nava has even called me herself to talk about treatment for my girl and had advice on hand when we talked.

The people at this office will do whatever it takes to get a correct diagnosis and treatment plan for their patients. My dog had a case of mange that was pretty severe by the time she came to Bevlab. Thanks to Bevlab she's on the road to recovery and improving every day. Lastly, this is an establishment that has VERY fair prices, our last vet was 5 times the cost of Bevlab and their care didn't come close to the care my pup has received at Bevlab.

So happy to have finally found the best vet for my beloved dog. Update 5/8/15 Most recently we have been seeing Dr. Wardrip, she is great! My girl is finally on the mend and I have attached a photo of her progress in the photo section on this page. Forever grateful to the staff at Bevlab for helping my girl get better.

I took my puppy there today for his shots. The staff there was very friendly. The atmosphere was clean. And I was very impressed by the doctor. She gave very helpful advice for caring for, grooming, and potty training my puppy. I'm very happy I choose this clinic for my puppy Coda Dixon. Kudos to everyone there.

My dog has been going to this vet since she was a puppy and we have never had any problems with them until now. We brought my seventy pound crying dog in after an injury where she can not use her back paw. Even though they were open, they refused to see her due to the fact that we had no appointment. Glad to know that this vet does not care about the wellbeing of hurt animals in their care and keeps their appointment book as a gospel. Heartless, really.

I have two dogs, one with chronic severe allergies (rashes, eyes oozing, hair loss, ect) and ear infections. I had tried two different vets, and countless medications before coming to Bevlab, all with little or no effect. Once I came to Bevlab (Specifically Dr. Nava)- it took one visit and they were able to recommend a regimen that actually works for my dog.

Not only were they able to help him out in a short period of time, but they were also very budget conscious while recommending medications which is extremely appreciated. We have been with them for a little over a year now and love working with them.
