Our two week inboard program starts with a thorough evaluation of your dog and consultation of what your expectations and needs are. Upon enrollment, your dog will stay at our facility for approxamitely 14 days. We will work on eliminating problem behaviors and put a solid obedience foundation into your dog.
Are you tired of behavioral problems with your family pet? Jumping, running off, excessive barking, nipping, attention seeking behaviors, a little out of control, and generally not listening when you need him/her to? Do your friends not want to visit because of Fido's behavior? We can help you resolve those "bad dog" issues.
Here at Consummate K-9 Training we believe that our off leash program is second to none in the industry. We have literally trained thousands of dogs and their humans, our off leash program allows you to have the control over your pet that you desire and the freedom that he/she desires. We will take you past simple basic obedience and start working long stay commands where you achieve a great distance away and get out of sight from your dog.
At Consummate K-9 Training, we feel like puppy class is the most important class that we have to offer. Our puppy class is like no other in the area, we show you what works and what doesn't work and how to raise a confident, trustworthy, independent, and well mannered companion. Our puppy class is 5 weeks long and we go over everything from housebreaking, destructive chewing, mouthing, and any other unwanted behaviors that arise. We work on agility to teach them balance and footing and to have trust in you and the confidence in themselves in conquering difficult obstacles.

My wife and I heard good reviews about Consummate K-9 and decided to go for an evaluation. We were a little thrown off that they charged over $50 just to give their opinion on the training program, but that was not a deal breaker if it was a quality session. Our dog is only a year old but has been developing some aggression towards other dogs, so we wanted to see if Consummate could assist in providing training with positive interactions with other dogs.
It was very obvious our dog was uncomfortable with David from the start, but David did literally nothing to help our dog feel comfortable in the evaluation. David then proceeded to pull our dog around, shove other dogs in front of him, and make him even more uncomfortable. You could see that our dog was visibly scared of David and uncomfortable in the situation, but David did not seem to care.
They then told us that our dog's aggression and anxiety was "genetics", and there was nothing they could do to fix that. They recommended a basic training class so that our dog could just better listen to us. After leaving, my wife cried the entire way home, and our dog has been aggressive toward our other dog since (they previously had been fine).
At this point, a refund isn't even enough to make me feel better about this experience. Maybe this type of training would be better for a dog that was more social with other dogs and comfortable in some situations (as evident by some of their reviews), but if your dog has anxiety, aggression, or something similar avoid this place like the plague.

Lisa and Dave have changed my life! My once cute little puppy had started to slowly become a nightmare over the course of two years. Being a first time dog owner, I didn't know what to do or how to handle her so I simply started avoiding situations and thinking 'these are the cards I was dealt.' Boy was I wrong! Poor genetics still play a role in our lives but now that I'VE been trained on the 'do's and don'ts' our bond has never been stronger.
I've learned how to trust her and she's learned to look to me for guidance when she can't make her own intelligent decisions. The jumping, barking, pulling me down the street dog has transformed into a dog with an amazing recall and off leash heel that often warrants strangers to give me compliments (and watch in awe) as she obeys each and every command I give. My piece of advice? Run, don't walk! I truly wish I had found them sooner.

Not a fan. This place was way out, so you'd think they have lots of land, but it's a small warehouse. Everything was pretty dirty and messy. pretty off putting for me. I would not want to board my dog there. They charge you $55 for a consultation, which takes about 20 minutes and there is no real training. Other places don't charge anything. The trainer was yanking my dog my the neck using a choke collar, which made me feel a bit uneasy.
They also basically charge one huge lump sum to get your dog trained to where they think is appropriate, which seems crazy because if you don't like the program you're stuck. Maybe this works for some people, but it was a huge waste of time/$55 to me. I don't know how they have so many positive reviews.

David and Lisa are gifted at reading both people and dogs. Five years after my dog and I attended their initial training course my pup still follows every command they taught us. He can be in hot pursuit of some wild critter and will stop and sit when I scream "leave it." Delivery people can enter his yard and I just say "house" and he walks inside without argument. Your dog is so happy when he can do something that pleases you. Awesome trainers.

My father previously used them for training a stubborn catahoula some years ago. After seeing the amazing transition with him, I knew it would be a no brainier for my 7 month old I'm having issues with. With only two visits so far I can see the transformation in my adopted pets personality (she's very submissive). As per the building it's a large air condition and wide open place. It also has plenty of space to sit while your beloved pet and you are being instructed. I do recommend them to all who require any assistance with a pet.

My dog and I have both been transformed . Lisa and David are the best trainers for the human and their dog. Many of my classmates travel long distances to be there because of their level of expertise. My dog and I both love being there for the group classes. Their facilities are superb. I couldn't recommend them highly enough.
