At Willowood, our focus is the health and welfare of the Japanese Chin breeds. We will try to determine if the breed is a good fit for you and your home. Pet stores, puppy mills, and persons who breed Japanese Chins for the purpose of profit do not always know what the breed standards look like or even consider whether they are breeding a healthy dog.
An up-to date Rabies certificate along with this release is a required for admission. Please bring them with you when you board! At Willowood I strive to create a completely different alternative to other boarding facilities that keep your dog either crated all day with limited opportunities to be outside or confined inside a wire indoor/outdoor environment.
It all begins a thousand years ago on the flats of Africa and follows a primitive dog as he makes life-altering decisions not just for himself but for the human with whom he develops a bond. This union remains inviolable as Puck's soul passes from one life to the next. Puck's story is as spiritual as it is terrestrial.

I have taken my dogs here for quite a few years. My dogs love going there because they are treated like Suzanne's own dogs. The little cottages are so cute & are heated & air conditioned. They have their own individual little yards with canopied lounge chaises & shelters. It's the greatest place to board my dogs.

We highly recommend Willowood. Love the setup and peaceful surroundings. Our shih tzu loves Sooz, playing with the other small dogs and 3 walks in the country a day. She's always happy to go to see Sooz. Always relaxed and well fed when we pick her up. The love and attention she receives is amazing! Never need to worry when we are away.
