Gwen made me feel like a horrible person and dog owner. Sad for someone who prides themselves as a great trainer

I have a Corgi that was reacting to the television and poor leash manners, both issues were resolved quickly. Great effective training.

I went to Gwen for help with my dog's aggression towards other dogs. For the first few months, she was very helpful in this department and I definitely saw great improvements with my dog. She told me if I ever needed her she was a phone call or text away. Unfortunately my dog began to become more reactive and develop aggression towards humans. I expressed my concern to Gwen and was told I simply wasn't correcting my dog hard enough.

I tried improving how I corrected my dog when he would snap or bite at a human but saw no improvement, so I continued to ask Gwen and her trainers for help. Gwen continued to tell me the same thing each week and ignored my messages about my concerns. When I asked other trainers working for the company for a second opinion they would tell me that I would have to go to Gwen for an answer.

I am very grateful for my dog's improved dog to dog aggression, but extremely disappointed that I was not properly instructed on how to help with my dog's human aggression. I understand if Gwen did not know how to handle my dog's human aggression, but she should have been able to give me some insight at least on another source or who to recommend to help my dog in this situation. As she gained more customers she did not pay attention to my dog when he needed it and it forced me to look elsewhere for help.

Before Gwenevere and her classes, we could barely walk our dog down the street due to her extreme fear. She was also fear aggressive towards other dogs which made any progress difficult. We worked with various trainers and made a little progress, but not enough. It's now been a year since we started classes with Gwen and people who knew our dog before are shocked by how much she's changed.

We can take her for walks, she's become tolerant of strange dogs, and we now have a new puppy at home. We honestly didn't think that would be possible. Thanks to Gwen and her dogs, our dog now has a much higher quality of life!

We had a 4 month old German Shepherd puppy that was biting and out of control. We were ready to rehome her. Gwen came to the house with her German Shepherds who taught her how to behave. She was there for three hours and explained why this was happening and what to do. We saw an immediate improvement. We attend the Sunday training classes. It is an amazing sight of sometimes 65 dogs with individual needs which are all being addressed. I highly recommend this.

Gwenevere Marx is not your typical trainer. We desperately needed help with our aggressive rescue. We lost a senior dog and wanted to add to our pack. It would not be possible if we had not first done some serious rehabilitative work. Gwen gave us the tools to give this dog a better life. She loves going to the group training where there are other dogs like her.

We all worked really hard and followed Gwens expertise and were able to add a puppy to our family. I recommend Gwen for your dog training needs. A huge bonus is meeting other dogs and owners.

We had an appointment today to bring our dog she did not follow through with the appointment and let us know last minute She is way overpriced her initial a valuation is $600 she is very rude to my boyfriend who is a disabled combat veteran we do not suggest her

This was the worst dog trainer. She showed up late, and charged $100 for a "training collar" that was nothing more than a choker chain. My poor puppy.

This was a horrible experience. I was screamed @, they took several breaks for smoking, and wreaked of alcohol, she made my dog go crazy and I almost lost control of him. Then due to my dog not liking her she yelled @ me in front of my neighbors outside and said because of this the price was now $2000 instead of $600. I took my dog elsewhere and he has been trained by a professional.

Thanks to Gwenevere Marx of Lehigh Valley Dog Training, we now have a healthy, happy dog! We adopted Teddy Bear six years ago as a four-month old pup rescued from a hoarder's home of over 100 animals. He was shy and afraid of everything from brooms to hairbrushes to pencils and as hard as we tried, he became so stressed and unruly whenever we tried to groom him that we just gave up and simply tried to love the mangled, smelly long-haired mess he had become.

Enter Gwenevere Marx, who kindly and gently coaxed Teddy into submission enough to evaluate his condition. Based on her years of experience, she recognized a dog with severe allergies and in constant pain from skin irritations, which was most likely why he couldn't handle grooming. It was simply too painful for him. She suggested a trip to the vet for treatment asap (which put Ted on a recommended diet for his food allergies and prescribed a month of antibiotics.) While she was here, she phoned the only groomer she would trust with Ted (he also has a heart murmur), clearly explained his condition and fears to her and made an appointment for us.

When Gwenevere left, she said to just wait and see -- Ted would be a totally different dog when his skin cleared. (I was not convinced and pretty skeptical.) Two months later, you couldn't recognize Teddy Bear. His allergies gone; the belly that was hairless and scabby now full of hair; he'd been to the groomer not once, but twice - with no incidents; and he's more personable and playful than we ever thought he could be!

The poor guy had missed out on years' worth of hugs and cuddles due to his mats and smell, but we're making up for it now. We never would have enjoyed this big ol' Teddy Bear if it wasn't for Gwenevere Marx. She truly is a dog whisperer.
