Excellent facility and trainers. I really like their methodology for training dogs. This is our second dog we have taken there.

My dog and I just met with the owner. He was genuinely interested in helping us reach our goals. He is a true dog lover vested in his customers. Can't wait for our private lesson! The store also had a nice selection of gear and food. Would recommend him to anyone who needs help or products.

There are a number of classes we have taken there and the instructor and her aides are exceptional. If you need help with training your dog or getting him/her certified as a therapy dog this is the place to go!

We are so glad we found Awesome Dawgs. All of their employees are super friendly and knowledgeable. We missed signing up for puppy classes when we first got our puppy but they so graciously let us come to their puppy play hour each week so our puppy could socialize. We love the play group atmosphere in a controlled safe environment. We also started level 1 classes and although we have worked on some training at home found it super helpful. Highly recommend Awesome Dawgs to dog owners in Berks county.

Excellent training classes. Highly knowledgeable instructors. Extremely CLEAN and well maintained facility. Offers a variety of classes; my dog has taken three of them. Excellent dog park. Dogs are evaluated before they can use the park. Good variety of quality products in their store.

We have taken our dog Harlow to every class offered. I can say Harlow is the best behaved and fun dog we ever had.

We began bringing our puppy to classes at Awesome Dawgs in October 2020 and have completed three levels so far (just signed up for fourth!). We couldn't be happier with the knowledge and passion the trainers have. They are patient, always available after class for additional advice and truly love dogs. The small class sizes and absent policy are great too!

We had to miss one class and were able to make it up by attending (minus our dog) with another group- we got to watch a different trainer and different dogs go through the class and come home to practice on our dog. We can see why our vet recommended this place when we asked about dog classes. The store is an added bonus too - having our puppy fitted for a harness and getting high value treats without mystery ingredients. Everyone at the store has been so helpful.

We LOVE their dog park! It's beautiful, controlled, and huge. We learned so much from just our brief dog interview with the trainer - they are worth considering for all your doggy needs!

Can't even rate this place because 1 star is WAY TO HIGH!I thought this would be a great place to take my dog for training, however they proved to me they are more worried about the money than the training. When you are not feeling well, especially during this time and you try to work with them regarding getting into a different session but the response you get is "well you can take makeup sessions" and surprise surprise it will cost more money. Be careful when signing up here because it is all about money and not the training.

Kudos to an immaculately run dog training school and pet facility. We recently finished a level 1 training course with our Scottie. I highly recommend these training classes to any new puppy parents or dog-challenged pet owners. There is also a pet supply store on-site with a knowledgeable staff for all your supplemental needs. The resident dog park is a great place to socialize and exercise dogs of all sizes.

It is expertly monitored and controlled by the resident "dog whisperer." At the risk of sounding redundant, this is a top-notch operation. These guys set the standard for all things dog related. 5 +

My dog Titan and I participated in a private training session with Steve. I cannot say enough good things about my experience at Awesome Dawgs! Steve was very knowledgeable and provided me with a lot of insight about my dog's breed and tips on how to best train him. We established a good framework for a handful of behaviors. I'm excited to keep working on them with my dog on my own time.

I feel very prepared to do so, thanks to Steve! Another highlight of our training session was being able to work outside in the dog park. It was a beautiful space and great practice for Titan to work on ignoring distractions. I would 100% recommend any training that Awesome Dawgs does and I hope to be able to participate in their 6 week training program eventually too. Thanks for a great experience Awesome Dawgs!

Poor customer service. Personal working is very rude. I had been shopping here for years and was rudely treated. I will seek my pet items elsewhere.

Love the trainers here. Our puppy Odin started coming here when he was 10 weeks old. The other puppies that started with him are as well behaved as Odin. Love it!

Awful awful training program spent hundreds of dollars there. They had no clue how to train my dog! Found another trainer and in two hours he was perfect! BEWARE ask if they ever trained or dealt with your breed. Because they do discrimination against bully breeds! Dog park is no better! They are BRUTAL with bully breed. ZERO stars.

Forget going to the big name pet stores, smaller ones like these have much more to provide you as a pet owner. Steve and Mary Jo are terrific they offer private lessons and provide great advice to anyone that has questions about raising any breed of dog. They worked with our dog on a one on one basis, and my dog is fearfully aggressive which can be a challenge at times.

They offer various trainings and they are very involved with community events and various nonprofits. Every product in their store is something that they can discuss with you since it is based on experience. Check out the movie nights they have at the store (that's right, they have a movie theater that you and you furry friend can go watch a movie on the big screen). They also have various art shows at the establishment. Check them out, you will not be sorry!
