Services
Offering the highest quality training, for your family pet or high level competition dog. We have an outstanding history in Competitive Dog Sports, Tracking, Detection, Police and Protection training. Often behavioral concerns, training issues or many other problems can be successfully eliminated after one consult/lesson combination.
Canine guests are cared for in spacious safe quarters in a warm comfortable climate controlled environment. We prefer that you bring your dogs food for the stay, pre-measured portions are always appreciated but not required. If for some reason you are unable to bring you food we can provide our National Super Premium Performance Plus for an additional fee.
We use our own training techniques based on the natural drives of each individual dog. We don't believe any one single method works well for all dogs and its important to make adjustments as the dog develops during the learning process. Food training may be a good approach for some baby puppies, but will not produce the best long term results for most dogs.
Jim has been training dogs for over 4 decades, his techniques result from experiences while training with thousands of dogs and their owners. Jim has had the unique opportunity of working with great trainers in specialized fields of expertise in 6 different countries. The United Schutzhund Clubs of America is the largest Working German Shepherd organization in North America.

Editing my original poor review. They have recently run fiber optic to my home and really have been very friendly and accommodating throughout the process. I now have incredibly fast internet and am happy to be able to keep it local rather than give money to a huge corporation. Kudos to Kalama telephone and Scattercreek!
