I picked up my 9 month old pup after a 9 day stay and he had kennel cough. I get that this happens and I would not have been upset but they said nothing, gave me no feedback regarding the stay and when I asked the front end worker said they would let me know when they brought his food up and then an assistant brought an empty bag up and knew nothing about his stay.
Aside from the cough, he was a mess. It was if he had not been out the entire time. I can't recommend which is unfortunate because it looks like it should be a great place on the outside.

All inclusive, boarding, daycare grooming site. Very nice facility. I boarded my cat and dog. They seem to have been well cared for and attended to however didn't get much feedback from staff regarding their stay.(only downside) as this was their first time in an extended stay. Easy and affordable process. Would recommend it.

We used to use Pet Nation at least once a week starting in 2009 until 2016 when we moved further away. We loved it here. Well this will be the last time we use them. We scheduled our older dog to board during spring break. Knowing they would be busy we called 4-5 week prior to our spring break. My husband had a long convo with them about him being older now (15.5) and just needing a more chill environment and not around other dogs.
He updated all our info with them (new address, etc). When my husband went to drop him off they had no record of our reservation and said they couldn't take him. We literally were leaving in less than 10 hours to go out of town and had no possible back up plan. After some pushing they agreed to take him. Our nanny picked him up and he was covered in poop.
He smelled horrible and she sent us pictures of dried poop all over him. It's apparent he was not cared for well and I'm so disappointed this was the same place we used to always go to. I will never take him or any other dog back here.

This kennel is absolutely horrible. Against my better judgment I let them take care of my dogs for 3 days. The first time on Dec 2021 one of my three dogs suffered from kennel cough. I dismissed this as bad luck since I have never had a dog with this condition. Just this month March 2022 Two of my dogs stayed there for 3 nights. None of my dogs are eating like they should.
They were sent with their own food. One dog came home with diarrhea and the other one has been vomiting for 4 days now. I called the kennel to report what is going on with my dogss and all he could say was I challenge you to find a cleaner kennel. He said my dogs probably picked it up somewhere else. My dogs don't socialize with other dogs because of my own handicap and only were exposed at this kennel.
He told me I should find another kennel. No offer to help or take any responsibility. I paid a lot of money to bring home sick dogs. Shame on me for bringing them back after the kennel cough incident. They came recommended. Horrible recommendation. Great if there are no issues. Horrible if you expect them to address problems. Boarder be ware. My dogs were healthy before Pet Nation.

Absolutely horrible experience. This place came very highly recommended to us and we called about a 2 week boarding right after the holidays. To test it, we had our puppy stay one night before our trip. He was returned smelling absolutely awful but we chalked it up to bring a fluke but we had to bathe him immediately. We decided to board him for 2 weeks with them.
He was neutered right before we boarded him but they said as long as he was 10 days out from neutering he'd be fine to stay. Well, turns out they didn't put him in daycare at all because of his wounds which was not what they told us would be the case. He also was so matted after being there that we had to shave him. Lastly, he was so dirty and smelled so horrible we had to bathe him immediately, couldn't have even taken him home because he smelled so terrible.
He also destroyed his bed while there and no one mentioned it. Prior to boarding him we did a consult with the Dog Wizard who was rude, indignant and ridiculously overpriced as I had friends who used them just a month or two before we chatted and was a fraction of the cost. The last strike was when we took him for daycare for 4 hours this past weekend.
I went to pick him up and was mentioning how disappointed we were in the boarding experience. As we were talking, they brought my dog out who was completely black (he's a white dog) and smelled heinous. My husband and I were both visibly upset and the front desk woman continued to bill me for his daycare visit. I mentioned we wouldn't be coming back and all she said was "I'm sorry." As far as I know, my dog was inside playing and smelled/looked terrible which only tells you what the conditions inside must be like. They've made zero attempt to remedy the situation. Absolutely terrible experience, do not go here.

I go to Lisa's Dog Grooming Village inside Pet Nation. Pet Nation is a very nice facility and friendly but as I said I use the grooming facility. There's no words to describe how HAPPY I've been with Lisa. She's an amazing groomer and awesome person. The only person I trust with my little dude Archie. I can say once you go to her with your fur babies you will continue. She's the best.

Terrible care of our golden retriever! Who they sent home sick after a 10 Day stay! Who is currently fighting a severe infection of Pneumonia! Needs oxygen tank two different prescriptions and steroids or euthanized due to the situation. He's 1yrs old weighted 97lb UTD on all shots very fit loving dog. We picked him up yesterday. Rushed him to the vet today, he's not aloud out side because he can't breath! Needs oxygen tank.
May have to be euthanized after your care! Lost 15lb in 10 days. Completely unacceptable when we picked up him up from Pet Nation the Owner told us himself that our dog had a cough because of the water! Do you clean the dog water bowls hourly or no? Especially after the summer heat. When was the last time the pool was cleaned? what chemicals are in the pool?
You could let us know that you had over 100 DOGS in the play area this weekend! We thought the pool idea was great for our dog who loves to swim but not when your staff can't do the job correctly! Your staff and your facility is not equipped to handle that nor take care of the animals with the responsibilities that is intended and told to us when we are paying! NEVER LEAVE your DOG at LET DOWN PET NATION!. You could've at least had the decency to check on the dog that you've almost killed. you'll be hearing from me!

Several friends take their dogs there for doggie day care and use their grooming service. I thought I'd try it and scheduled my Newfie, Mabel, for an appointment. A few hours later, I picked her up and she looked wonderful! Bathed, trimmed up and quite pleased with herself to boot. The cost was considerably less than her previous groomer so I love that!

If there's a no star option i'd pick it. My friend had her puppy there and when she got him, he was injured and had a terrible looking wound on his paw. They completely denied that they were the cause even though he was perfectly healthy before. To top it off, when she called asking for an explanation of what happened, the owner was INCREDIBLY rude.
Extremely unprofessional place. Will never recommend for anyone. Don't take your fur babies there, they don't take good care of them! In fact, you'll get them back injured.

Took my dog in for the trial day are day. Planned to use them for boarding and daycare if she did well. They called me around the 3-4 hr mark and told me she'd gotten hurt. She was doing well they said, they separated her for "quiet time" by putting her on the other side of a chain link fence where she could still see the dogs she was playing with.
Apparently they walked away and left her and she climbed the chain link fence to try to get back to the other dogs. She fell and per the owner "might have caught her leg on the way down" and got hurt. I came in after getting the call (on speakerphone with my kids in the car who were now worried as well) and they brought her limping out. The owner said "I think she should see a vet" as if that wasn't already my plan.
I'd be curious to see their security footage frankly. A dog they've never had there, wanted to keep for 4 hours to "get to know her" but put behind a fence and walk away from? The vet said nothing seems broken. It's two weeks later and she's just started trying to use the leg again but still largely walks on 3 legs. I emailed the PLN about paying the vet bill my "free trial" caused and any follow up costs (if we find out she tore something or needs some treatment, etc).
They never replied. When I used their form to ask about the free trial I got a reply in 1 business day. It's been over a week since I emailed them about this with not even a courtesy email refusing to pay for it.

Favorite place for furry friend. Staff is just amazing and super accommodating. Our groomer is the BEST and we are extremely pleased every time doggie visits her. LO comes exhausted after daycare because he alway has so much fun. We have tried many different places for weekend stays and Pet Nation is the only place where he has not come back with kennel cough. I recommend it.

I have used them for dog day care and grooming. Their groomer is awesome. My dog is very well brushed and doesn't shed for a few days. Also, if you take you dog for daycare, he doesn't get groomed until just before you pick him up. I like their daycare for 2 reasons. First, they limit the number of dogs in the play area so it is not overwhelming for the dogs. Second, they take them back to a rest area periodically so they can drink and nap. My dog comes home tired but not exhausted.

I went to Los Angeles to fill PPE orders, mask orders and other protective items for COVID. To keep us safe and dropped off my dog Max for a little over 3 weeks. He developed really bad kennel cough on the edge of pneumonia and not one single employee here, who is supposed to love dogs, after all when you work with dogs it certainly is not for the pay; not one of them loved dogs enough to call me.
Now all the other dogs that stayed for the past 3 weeks, most likely have kennel cough and/ or pneumonia. If your dog is older, please seek assistance immediately from a vet. If you need to see my MedVet paperwork, please message me; I'm more than happy to share it with you.

We love Pet Nation Lodge! Elsa loves coming to play during the day, and everyone there does a great job with all of the dogs. We've boarded her at Pet Nation Lodge as well, and she always has a good time and is well cared for. All of the staff are so friendly, and they clearly love being with all of the dogs - and the dogs love them as well! The addition of Dock Diving adds another great activity. We've recommended Pet Nation Lodge to several others. Elsa comes home from a day at Pet Nation very happy - and tired!

This is the first time we did long term boarding for our pups here. While the staff are friendly I can't recommend it after this visit. One of our dogs now has kennel cough despite having been vaccinated and has loose stool. Both dogs' collars were chewed and destroyed as well as a $65 seresto flea collar which is concerning with all its chemicals.
Not sure how long the dogs were left alone to destroy them but it was obviously quite some time. Kennel made no apologies or offer to replace them or comp us. Other kennels typically remove them from the dogs. Our dog also ran out of food and they charged us a premium price for a small replacement bag. At pick up they couldn't locate an expensive leash. We insisted they find it. Definitely not worth the cost we paid. Will drive a bit further next time for a more reliable kennel.

Going to give them another chance, but first weekend boarding did not go well.meaning, both dogs contracted something -- vet said flu or virus-- and have been sick all week. Diareah, incontinence, vomiting.you name it. Like I said, not going to judge based on one visit, but would be lying if I felt good about this after paying what I did.

DANGER! DANGER! DANGER! This place appears great. This was my first and last time boarding in 9 years I took my boys here mid March for a long weekend. I picked them up Monday and by Thursday I was at the vet with VERY SICK fur babies. On Friday morning my chihuahua couldn't even stand, rushed him to the vet and he sent me to a specialist at MedVet for testing and care that then sent him to the Columbus MedVet for more testing and care.
This was bacterial and all three of my dogs were carrying it, but only Boomer was the only one who got severe. (all were up to date on vaccines) my sweet fur baby was saved, but will take months to recover and pray that he is able to make a full recovery After 12,000. In vet bills and we still have months of care and vet visits I called and spoke to the owner and he seemed concerned at first.
But was only being nosey because he is worried about a lawsuit considering my husband is a attorney This place is NOT safe! I would give negative stars if possible If you love your pet do NOT take them here

Very disappointed in the past few grooming appointments. Left word for the owner to call and discuss it with me. When the call wasn't returned I called again. The lady who answered was very helpful, however as I was on hold the groomer who last worked on my dog got on the line and was MORE THAN RUDE to me. I didn't ask for her, she had ZERO business getting on the line, let alone talking to me in the tone which she did and then have nerve to tell me to take my business elsewhere before hanging up on me. Doesn't surprise me to hear when I called creative pet designs she said I was the sixth person to call her looking for a new groomer to get away from pet nation. I can't imagine a business owner not caring to speak to a long time customer. Service has gone way down since Robin left.

Every time our dog has stayed here she lost weight, the most recent time, although the staff said "she did great and was fine" she went from 11 lbs to 7lbs, was pooping bloody stools and was suddenly missing her 2 front teeth. Our dog was obviously traumatized by whatever happened to her, and we had to spend the next few days in and out of the vets office with her.
I really think that if we had left her at this place just one more day we would of come home to a dead dog. I can't believe the staff simply stated "she did great" when even the slightest glance at our dog made it obvious something was terribly wrong. This facility has permanently lost my trust, and I would suggest avoiding it if you love your pet.

We took our golden retriever here to get a trim for the summer and we told them we wanted a decent trim, but not to shave him or take too much off (knowing that both the overcoat and undercoat, which are essential to Golden Retrievers' temperature control and comfort, should remain in tact). When we picked him up, they had completely buzzed everything except his tail, leaving his undercoat exposed in several places on his shoulders and back.
It was clear the groomer did not have much experience with grooming (given the uneven nature of his "buzz cut") and especially with grooming by breed standards. Our dog seems fine (and we will monitor him in the sun and will monitor his temperature control when outside this summer), but this can have some really negative impacts for other large breeds who should never be shaved down so far, including other Golden Retrievers, as it can prevent the hair from coming back normally and can harm their health.
I would not go back to Pet Nation for a grooming or any other services as this was just a very disappointing and unprofessional experience overall. A helpful link: http://www.absolutelygolden.com/golden_retriever_grooming.htm

I'd heard good things about this joint from my Mom. So, we took our dog, Sugar, there. Now, I have to mention.my dog, Sugar, is a bit of a psycho. She runs, she loses her mind when she gets out of the house.she actually had to have a muzzle put on her while she was getting her hair cut once. Well, 1st off.they don't charge to clip your pet's nails.
Which is very cool. They appreciate it if you tip them. I usually give them about $5 a dog. And the woman who does the nail clipping is REALLY great with the animals. So, if you live in/around Loveland. GO THERE!
