In order to best serve the needs of our existing clients and patients we are only able to schedule appointments with clients who have an active account with us. If you have not had an appointment with our office since January of 2019 your account is not considered active. Additionally we are not currently accepting new clients at this time.
It's hard to put into words how much I appreciate the work of Dr. Francis, and the entire Marion Animal Hospital team. When we adopted a senior cocker spaniel with several serious health issues, we knew we were going to have a lot of work to do to improve his quality of life. We visited two other vets before going to Marion, and both vets basically told us we were saints for adopting the dog, but he wasn't going to get much better.

The last year has been full of poor experiences here, and I've had many visits as I had 3 cats, 2 of which were kittens getting up to date. I don't have it in me to write out all my experiences as it is long, but I have taken my kitties elsewhere now. I appreciate the office manager being kind and hearing me out in my long conversation with him. However, I am still very bothered and disappointed by my experiences.

First off, I want to say that Marion Animal Hospital is a great facility that I recommend to all of my friends who are local to the area. My only complaint is that they have changed their hours and show no signs of going back. It is a shame. I work during the day Monday through Friday and they have taken away both their evening and weekend hours. It has made it a lot more difficult to make appointments without having to take time off of work or relying on family members to help out.
It's an hour drive round trip to get there and their latest times are hard to come by because everyone else also works during the week and they took away Saturdays. I am disappointed that I have to switch vets in order to accommodate our schedules. More places need to accommodate working people. Taking time off is okay sometimes, but when you have your own doctor's appointments and more than one cat, it can be difficult to get time off when needed.
Bring back Saturdays. We don't even go into the clinic anyways. There is no excuse as to why there are at least 5 doctors and not one of them can rotate a Saturday once a month? Please.

As a young woman I have never been treated so awfully by the grown man that is there office manager. Spoken to so poorly/ talked down to. Have been a patient here forever but after this last experience I will never give them business again or recommend them to anyone. Very very upsetting. They also keep deleting my review lol so they clearly Filter and delete anything they don't like. False advertisement.

I've been bringing my kittens here since I got them from rescue. The staff never transferred the cats over to my name even though I had brought them several times. We are getting a new puppy, so I wanted to go ahead and make his appointment. Upon giving the receptionist my name, she tells me I'm not in the system and therefore I am a new client. She then tells me they are not accepting new clients right now and that I would have to find another place to take my puppy. The vets are great with the animals. They are not great with the people!

We have been going here since we got our Pitbull as a puppy 6 years ago. He has bad skin allergies and thankful the vet gave us the options that fit our budget. No matter where you go Vets are expensive so it will always come down to how you are treated. Always been nice to us even when I've seen how people can look at us when they see we have an American Pitbull Terrier.

I took both my dogs there a few days ago for shots and again I was treated very courteous and friendly. The doctor was great and very good with my animals as were the staff. I would recommend Marion Animal Hospital to anyone I know. I have friends coming down from NY soon and I will definitely recommend they use your facility. I am returning this month for a booster for both of my dogs and a grooming for one and again I know I will be treated well.
