After spending years in corporate America, Shelley Moniz decided to leave the hustle and bustle of the "big city" to pursue a lifelong dream of caring for and training dogs. She has been working with animals since childhood. Growing up, she took part in raising hunting beagles with her family and developed a strong affinity for all things furry. She is an ABC certified dog trainer with the Animal Behavior College, and is fully certified in Pet First Aid & CPR for the safety of your canine companions.

The Executive Dog is the South Coast's premier dog daycare facility. Understanding a dog's social, emotional, and physical needs is our specialty. As pack animals, dogs can become lonely, anxious, and oftentimes destructive when left alone. Our mission is to provide an exercise and socialization outlet that dogs both need and crave.
All grooming products used on your pets are hand selected by us for ingredient quality & content. Shampoos and conditioners and safe for sensitive skin. We also have medicated shampoos and are happy to use your own shampoo if provided. We do not cage dry dogs! All dogs are blown out by hand, then placed in a crate with a cool fan to lower body temperature.
Shelley is both helpful and informative, and the place is spotless. Somehow Taffy knows which days she goes, because she is waiting patiently by the door with her tail wagging a mile a minute. What a find! I am one of The Executive Dog's biggest fans. I tell everyone, and I mean even total strangers, what a great experience it is for my 2 yr old Golden Retriever to be able to spend a day running and playing with other dogs. Because I work full time, this is a great opportunity for my dog to get the exercise he needs and when he comes home he's exhausted.

I would not recommend this place to anyone! I have a very sweet precious boxer who had been at a previous daycare and did amazingly well. We transferred due to distance biggest mistake we ever made. He was there for 5 weeks and we received an email telling us he was no longer welcomed back. Stated he is aggressive and an opportunist. I was shocked called his old daycare who said never would they refer to him as an aggressive dog or opportunist.
His biggest problem is he loves to play with other dogs and being a boxer that's what they do. So before picking this place have a backup because there is a good chance your sweet dog will be kicked out!

I have taken my dog to Executive for the past two years and she loves it. She comes home exhausted at the end of each day from playing with the other dogs, which is exactly what we hoped for when we signed her up The owner, Shelley does a great job with the dogs and also does grooming which is great. You can tell that both Shelley and her support staff are dog lovers and it's comforting to know they are in such good hands. I would highly recommend bringing your dog here.

To begin with the dog loves it there. Shelly and co. Run a tight ship. The place is always cleaned up and the dogs get along. This service socialized our Gracie so that we can trust her around dogs wherever we go. We've boarded Gracie there as well and she always comes home not stressed out. I'd recommend this place for all dog owners especially people who want their young dogs socialized to other dogs.

Executive Dog is the BEST! My golden retriever Toby, has been going to Executive Dog since he was 4 months old and he's 8 years old now. This doggie day care is truly heaven on earth for dogs and is a 5+ star! Shelley and her staff are always friendly and caring. Toby looks forward to going to ED and jumps out of the car when we get there because he can't wait to hang with his pack friends. Super clean and roomy inside and out and the new artificial lawn outside gives them a great playing space.

My dog loves going to Executive Dog for daycare! She is always super excited to get there! Our experience has been nothing but positive. The dogs are always well behaved and you almost never hear them barking! The staff is always friendly and welcoming. I am constantly recommending this place to everyone I know. Can not say enough good things.

Shelley at Executive Dog is an amazing dog person. I always felt so confident leaving my dog with her that he would be well cared for safe. I've been to other doggy day cares and no one else keeps my dog as happy and healthy as Shelley does. I love that the dogs have the freedom to play and enjoy the day, but that she also keeps and eye out for bad behaviors (such as my dog eating poop- terrible and unhealthy habit!) and tries to prevent them. The place is reasonably priced, friendly, and reliable. They also do grooming right on site which is super convenient!

We've been part of the Exe. Dog family for over 5 years now, and have had a wonderful experience. Our 10 y.o corgi is a very important part of our family and we researched this facility prior to committing and it's been a terrific experience. We take advantage of all their services food/daycare/grooming/and overnights when we travel and in each case our dog (little princess) always comes back to us in fantastic condition.
The owner and staff are always accommodating extremely knowledgeable and professional. Were lucky to have them and I encourage any and all who consider their dog precious to reach out to the team. JOE

Our dog has been going to Executive Dog for a while now - I think over a year, currently two days a week. She loves it there, comes home tired (from playing) and happy (exactly what we want). She has a great time playing with the other dogs, so it's great exercise AND socialization. You do have to pick your day(s) of the week FYI, it's not a drop-in anytime kind of doggie daycare (this makes sure there is a consistent number of dogs, and that they all get along well).
The hours and location are convenient for us, and the owner and staff members obviously love animals and take good care of them. We've moved one town away but prefer to drive back to this doggie daycare rather than switching. We have also boarded our dog and were happy with boarding services. Great place!

Our dog loves going to executive dog. He gets so anxious in the morning if he sees us all getting ready to head out to work and school if he thinks we are going without him that he won't eat until we put his leash on so he knows he's going to executive dog! It's quite clean, has a great out door space (as well as a huge indoor space), staff is friendly and accommodating. Our dog gets so excited to go. We highly recommend it.

I have only good things to say about Executive Dog! My 2 yr old high-energy boxer has been going to doggie daycare every week since he was 4 months old and LOVES it. and I love it too! Not only do I feel secure that my pet is safe and well-cared for, I know he looks forward to seeing Shelley, Amy and all his furry friends. He comes home nice and tired after a fun-filled day at Executive Dog! Shelley and Amy are devoted animal lovers and I am confident they take good care of my "baby."

Genny, our rambunctious four month old yellow lab, loves going to spend the day with Shelly and Amy at Executive Dog. Before we even park, her tailing is wagging and she's trying to get out of the car and in to see all her friends. Amy and Shelly have been great; providing my wife and I with behavior observations, advice and words of encouragement on our puppy's upbringing.
I would recommend Executive Dog to anyone. Our first day was a little confusing- while the business address is located on Sconticut Neck Road, the entrance/parking is off of Little Bay Road.
