This veterinary hospital is by far the best in the community. Every time I go to this hospital, I am delighted by the customer service and care. furthermore, their prices are pretty competitive all considering the outstanding service If you're new to the area, you won't be disappointed, or if you're looking for a new vet!

My dog Ruby was critically ill and would not have lived without the care and fast action provided by Norwell Veterinary Hospital. We were travelling and Ruby was suffocating and the minute the staff saw Ruby they rushed her back to surgery, anesthetized her and got her on a ventilator. They also took very good care of us and they were really compassionate. I have never had such a wonderful experience in my life. My Bernese Mountain Dog has fully recovered and so have we. I owe the staff a lifetime of thanks.

I've been bringing my cat here for a little over a year now, we've had 5 visits over the course of that time. 2 were unscheduled visits (one was an emergency), 2 were follow ups and one was a regular visit for shots and things. After our last visit, the emergency visit, I won't be returning. The doctors in this hospital are outstanding. They're kind, patient, and very knowledgeable.
The staff, however, are less so. I have a shy cat, when I first started bringing my cat here I told them this. Almost every visit they brought my cat out from the visit with a dog standing right on the doorstep which made my cat very anxious. Specifically during the last visit my cat needed xrays and bloodwork. I was told I could leave the parking lot as it would be an hour-ish wait.
I left and waited somewhere 15 minutes away. When I got a call from the doctor to come pick up my cat I explained I was 15 minutes away, she said that's fine to call when I was in the parking lot. 5 minutes later I get a call from the front desk asking me to checkout and pay. I explained I was still 10 minutes away and would call when I was in the parking lot.
When I got to the hospital, they said my bill was paid. It was almost $1,000 and I hadn't paid yet. When I explained this to the woman on the phone she said someone marked it paid. I gave her my card over the phone and she said my cat would be right out. 15 minutes go by and no cat. I call the front desk and she said someone said they were bringing him out but they didn't.
She brought him out right away after that. Finally, I always ask them for an emailed bill so I can submit it to my insurance. I had to ask them 3 times to email me the bill. When I paid the invoice they said they would email it, they didn't. When the doctor called with the blood work results I mentioned I didn't get an invoice and needed to submit it to the insurance she said they would email it.
They emailed me an estimate of the services, not the invoice. I had to log into the patient portal and send a message explaining I need the actual invoice that I paid to submit to the insurance. They finally emailed me the invoice. Overall, doctors are really good here but staff is absolutely incompetent. Not worth the 30 minute drive to get here with a nervous cat. We won't be back.
