A Door A Pet

We have been using A-Door-A-Pet's services since 2006 and have found them to be absolutely reliable at both pet-sitting and house-sitting. Cindy and her staff have repeatedly shown remarkable responsibility and ingenuity when problems have arisen while we were away, such as a bad wasp infestation which they completely resolved while we were away, and a broken door lock, which they managed to get fixed with us out of the country.

Every weird request we've ever made has been handled cheerfully and expertly, and all of our houseplants have thrived under their care (not to mention our cat). I couldn't recommend them more strongly. Melinda Varian

We love Cindy and A-Door-A-Pet. I contact Cindy and Murphy at least once a month to watch our two cats. One requires medication twice daily and I know he is receiving excellent care in their hands.

We used their service for our two dachshunds for many years and were very pleased with them. Suzette and Heather were our favorites at the time. We also used them for overnights when we were away and never had any issues until one of the sitters got sick and they had to have a sub come to our house while we were going to Canada. Our dogs were pretty easy to deal with and we had given very specific instructions about not lifting up the boy as he didn't like that.

Half way to Toronto we got the call that the sitter had been bit (and the dog never did that to anyone before) and was going to the hospital. Long story short: We got sued for $10.000.00 and we strongly disagreed with our insurance provider at the time State Farm (which we don't use any more) but they said it was easier to pay than going to court.

The owner Cindy (that we always liked) unfortunately had only one comment: It is between us and the sitter. The point here is - Please look at the fine print. If there is ever an issue you are on your own and she is not taking any responsibility.

Cindy and her wonderful team have cared for our cat many times. We travel to see family and are away for long stretches. Our cat is always well cared for and we appreciate having peace of mind while we're gone. We strongly recommend their services!

Cindy took great care of my senior cat, Saki! Saki can be quite a handful but Cindy was always available and willing to put up with Saki's quirks. Thank you, Cindy!

Our cat has medical needs and Cindy and her staff have done a great job keeping him on track and healthy when we are away. They clean up after the our cat - his space is spotless when we return.
