Our love of dogs brought us to Happy Tails Playhouse. We are the third owners of our boarding kennel that has been in business for 40 years. Four Generations of my family moved to GA from CT in 2017 along with my husband and myself. Most of us have worked with dogs for years. Christy Champagne has worked at Happy Tails for many years; she is the ever-smiling force on the small dog side on Wednesday, Thursday & Friday.
I pick up the dog(s) from the local Animal Control and take them to the vet before boarding them in the kennel. A rescued dog usually stays with us a minimum of 10 days before being transported to the rescue group where they find their forever homes. Anything that you can donate will help, these dogs that have been abandoned by their owners.
At Happy Tails Playhouse, we know each pet is unique and strive to make every pet feel at home. The kennel is heated and air-conditioned and has indoor/outdoor runs, which are cleaned once a day, more often if needed. Included in our boarding prices for the dogs are 3 play times a day individually in an enclosed supervised area.
At Happy Tails Playhouse, cats receive just as much love as our dogs. Our cat boarding accommodations are clean and comfortable. All our feline guests enjoy playful, loving attention from our staff. To provide a safe and relaxing experience, our cats are kept in the cattery located inside the office building.

This is my third time using their service! My pup loves them! She would perk up whenever we come and would drag the staff to her favorite place! I remember calling them one time because I was nervous and it was my first time leaving her there and they were just chilling with her and feeding her cookies she was SPOILED! Leave your pets here! The staff took care of my pup and was amazing! My pup was so tired afterward when I came to grab her. They even clipped her nails for me without charging! I wish I could give them 10 stars!

We recently boarded all of our dogs for a week with Happy Tails. They range in size from 18 to 65lbs with varying energy levels. When we dropped them off, the owners made sure they had all of the info they needed for each dog's schedule and requirements. During the week, we checked their Facebook page (probably a little too frequently) to see the photos posted each day.
One of the best things Happy Tails did is give each dog plenty of time and attention outside without charging any extra fees. All of our dogs came home happy and healthy from their stay and we will be using Happy Tails for our future trips.

Just got back from picking up the dogs, again. We have been using (doing business with, counting on) these folks for years with multiple dogs of various ages and temperaments! They're very communicative and we never have to worry. Would prefer that they be a well kept secret but they deserve your business too!

I'm bias towards Happy Tails since I've worked here for almost 7 years, but this also gives me the greatest insider review around. I have been in the animal care taker field for over 10 years now and Happy Tails has been the best place I've ever worked. The personal care and attention each dog receives is unmatchable. Because we don't do "group play" (aka doggie daycare) we are able to solely focus on each individual pet.
It also eliminates any worry of dog fights, rough play, injury, or communicable diseases. Each dog and cat is loved and cared for as if they were our very own. Because we are here for YOUR pet, without all the glitz and glamour, we can boast of the lowest prices for excellent service. Come by for a tour during our business hours. This place is AWESOME! Marc and Deana are so incredibly nice and they really make you feel so comfortable leaving your furry babies there! It's very apparent that they really love animals and they know what they are doing. You get so much for your money and its always such a pleasant experience to take our dogs here! Our one dog is very afraid and is quite a handful when he is out of his environment and they are so wonderful with him! I tell everyone I know to take their dogs here, that's how happy we are!
