Bay Pines Boarding & Grooming Accreditation by the AVMA Council on Education (COE) and Committee on Veterinary Technician Education and Activities (CVTEA) represents the highest standard of achievement for veterinary medical education in the United States. Institutions that earn accreditation confirm their commitment to quality and continuous improvement through a rigorous and comprehensive peer review.

Accreditation is a process by which an educational institution or program submits to a voluntary, non-governmental review to determine whether it meets accepted standards of quality.
Services
Bay Pines Veterinary Clinic is proud to serve the cities of Harbor Springs, Petoskey, Alanson, and Pellston, MI. We are dedicated to providing the highest level of veterinary medicine along with friendly, compassionate service. Our hospital is equipped with the most advanced technology we can find so that we may offer you and your pet the best care possible.
Annual dental exams and cleanings are recommended to protect your pet from many health problems and help them maintain a healthy and clean mouth. Proper diet and nutrition can help your pet fight against disease, maintain a proper weight, and promote the overall well-being of your pet. Annual wellness exams evaluate your pets overall health, detect problems before they become serious, and keep them on track to live a long, healthy life. We're equipped to perform routine radiography services to identify many types of illness or injury when pets are sick or suffer a trauma.
No matter where you're going, or where you're coming from, rest assured that our priority is keeping your furry friend happy, healthy and safe. Convenient location, specialized care, and a well-trained, compassionate staff make us the top choice among pet owners. We treat every pet as if they were our very own family pet, and strive to make their stay with us as comfortable and fun-filled as possible.
While grooming should be done on a consistent basis, the frequency to which your pet needs to be groomed will depend somewhat on daily routines, coat type, age and general health. We can assist in recommending the proper tools to use for your pet's coat type. If your pet suffers from allergies, our veterinarian may prescribe regular bathing as part of the treatment routine.

My Boston came in for a recheck after a terrible eye infection. The staff -front desk to back behind the closed doors- are the best!

Emergency appointment as dog likes to eat porcupine at night. Friendly, timely staff stayed past hours to help us out. Even threw in a nail trim as we normally have to make a special appointment for this (dog loves facefull of porcupine but won't let anyone touch his nails.) THANK YOU!

My dog had gotten injured, but wasn't an emergency. They were completely booked, but made a point to get me in to get him checked out. Started on pain meds and prophylactic antibiotics. Very nice!

A Saturday afternoon emergency and Dr. Kurt answered the call. With kindness and care he took care of our beloved feline and returned him to a healthy and happy life. Had we waited until Monday when the clinic's were again open it may have been too late to save him. Thank you so much.

We are from out of town and had an emergency with our Alaskan Malamute who fell ill with hemorrhagic gastroenteritis. Dr McDonald went out of his way to stabilize her and provide top notch care. He was extremely knowledgeable and caring, we would recommend this clinic to anyone!

They are by far one of the nicest Vets I have ever dealt with. Everyone from the ladies in the front to the technicians to the Vet them self's. They take there time and make sure you understand and I feel your not just a 'number'.
