Tropic Cove

I had a healthy common pleco that had become too large for my tank and I didn't know what to do with him. Rookie mistake I know. I called Tropic Cove and they were willing to take him, which was great. I'm new to town and was hopeful there was a local fish store, and this is the one! Many varieties of fresh and saltwater fish and supplies. I was surprised they had axolotyls. Will definitely be back. And while it's not my thing, they also have a good selection of reptiles and reptile food, mice and rats, live and frozen.

Kids loved it! They had a very wide selection and were very knowledgeable.

Great selection of both saltwater and freshwater fish, lots of lizards, frogs, snakes and other animals like that. They sometimes also have birds, bunnies and hamsters. Plus a great selection of products for all kinds of pets! Staff is friendly and helpful.

Iv bought from here a couple of times and sometimes very rarely do the fish actually live two days ago I bought 2 angle fish and I noticed one was acting up so I put him in a bigger correntine area and he died the very night. He wasn't eating no matter what food I gave him and he either floated with his head up at water or sunk into my plants. spent like 30 each and iv got a betta from there and it did the same thing but other places I haven't had a problem

We have a year and a half old crested gecko that was not bought in a local store. Straight orange. Came here, noticed a white/grayish looking crested gecko (which I've been looking for years). excitedly, asked to see it as well as specifically asked about color and if it was normally that light. A touch of orange was mentioned, which would have been a nice accent on such a light color and would be different than our other. Nope.

It came home and shed in the small transition tank while we prepared/decorated the medium tank. It's straight, patternless deep orange. thanks for doubling us up on another orange. With two in care now, I wont be able to have another color. DO YOU ONLY SELL ORANGE CRESTIES? DID YOUR EMPLOYEES KNOW? Im very unhappy.

A little expensive I probably could have saved about $50 on my supplies if I had gone to Walmart or pet supplies instead. Always check other stores before u go here. Also the live feeders are better quality then pet supplies

Maryanne did a great job grooming our golden retriever and was very reasonably priced. Will definitely go back!

I come here regularly to get crickets for my bearded dragon and occasionally pellets for my birds. The animals are all very well cared for, with proper enclosures and diets. They may be slightly more expensive than going to the Pet Supplies Plus across town, but they make up for it in quality products and care.

I live a couple hours away but it's worth the trip everytime! Was able to pick up a bumblebee morph ball python this trip and she is a sweetheart! The staff is amazing and was able to answer every question I had for them too!

While on our yearly vacation this summer 2020, I took my sweet, Haverness/poodle, Willie there for a grooming. We always worry when we take our babies to a new place.especially during COVID, when you can't go inside with them and check a place out. I was worried he might be stressed going to a new place, but I was happily surprised when I picked him up and he acted perfectly fine.

He has been getting groomed at the same place for 6 years.and I have to say this is the best groom he has ever had! Maryanne made sure every spot was perfectly perfect.his ears, nails, tail, tummy, face etc. were trimmed perfectly! I could not be more pleased with the results and want to give a good review for taking great care of my fur baby!

From the outside, the place is unassuming. Inside it is pretty impressive. Much more than just a fish store, their birds, and reptiles are diverse, and appear well cared for. The owners have made great use of the limited space, and the fish tanks are beautiful. Definitely worth checking out.

We stopped in yesterday of the first time. very disappointed. multiple dead and close to dead fish in the fish tanks. won't be a customer at such a business
