Services
Thank you for choosing Indian Bridge Kennels as your dog's home away from home. We are happy to provide a comfortable, secure environment for your pet while you are away. Our 12.5 acre property is located close to Leonardtown, Solomon's Island, and Patuxent Naval Base in Lexington Park. We welcome tours of our facility during our regular office hours.
Our facility offers several choices for boarding your dog. The kennel has been designed to provide comfort and privacy in a home like setting. Regardless of which lodging option you select, all dogs that lodge with us will be taken out four times per day. Two of these times are play sessions. If your dogs are social, we try to put them in a group with compatible guests. If not, we take them out separately. Luxury Suites: $59 per night for the first dog, $55 per night for each additional dog in the same suite.
Our trained staff will be glad to take care of your pet's grooming needs - whether that involves giving a bath, clipping nails, or providing a full body groom. If you're booking these services in conjunction with daycare or boarding, please make the grooming reservation in advance as well to ensure your spot on the schedule.
When you're at work, your dog can be playing and getting the attention he needs instead of chewing on the living room furniture or your shoes! Why leave your pup at home when he can spend the day playing and socializing with other dogs, burning energy? Our daycare program includes 3 play sessions throughout the day. Early drop-off is available by appointment.

We have a 3 years old rescue who has never done will with boarding. She would often not eat and be lethargic when she came home. That was not our experience with Indian Bridge. We boarded our dog for 2 weeks this summer while we traveled to visit family and my heart was put to rest the moment we stepped in. It is a beautiful, clean facility. The front desk person was delightful.
Everything about this place felt right. They take the dogs out 4 times a day, 2 of which are playtimes. They offer a military discount and they did a great job trimming my dogs nails. I highly recommend this place!

The first time we took our dogs here a few years ago when we first moved into the area just for grooming they lost one of our dogs collar. They blamed it renovation work instead of taking responsibility. They tried to get us to buy one of their collars and we had to insist they pay for the replacement since they lost ours. We decided to give them another shot and figured it was just a one time incident.
We scheduled a grooming and the employee that made the appointment said updated shots didn't matter for grooming. They call us the day before the appointment to say rabies update was required for grooming after the first caller said it didn't matter. Clearly they don't train their employees properly. We won't be back.

I left my dog here for 3 days in February 2018 and she was not treated well, she still had a full bag of food, so she was not fed. Also she was really dehydrated you could tell by her skin being really tight and she was not herself. On a separate occasion in 2017 she was invested with fleas and they tried to spray flea spray on her before we picked her up, I should have known then, but definitely look for a better place, it's just money to them.

Sophie loves the place. She is shy at first but once she starts getting all the pamper and care from the staff she just loves to be there. They take care of her making sure that she is happy and love just like she was at home. I was concerned about a good place to leave Sophie when I have to go out of town for work and this is the place. We will have another experience here soon leaving for a whole week and I know she will be in good hands. Thank you so much for all the care to our Sophie and the pictures just fill my heart with joy.
