I come here for Jen, the groomer. She knows what she's doing hands down! Thee best groomer in the SoMD!

I love this place. They are so friendly and they make my dog and I feel so welcome! I was recommended to them by a friend of mine who said they could help me groom my dog. I am so glad I came here. I've brought my dog to Chesapeake Pet Resort and Day Spa 3 times for grooming and not once have I been disappointed! They take great care of my dog AND they are quick. Somehow, my dogs smells good for WEEKS after and I just want to love her even more! I highly recommend this place and I soon hope to get my dog in here for day care.

The staff there is absolutely fantastic with our dog and the puppo accomodations make it an easy stay over for our high maintenance princess. Very pleased with the whole experience and an easy first pick next time we go out of town and can't take the puppo.

They worked us in during spring break and Easter. My husband mother past and her funeral was in the week of spring break. Wonderful people and environment.

Love Chesapeake Pet Resort. Laura took amazing care of my pup while we were on vacation. Grounds are well maintained and loved all the pictures that get posted at the end of the night.

Jenn! That woman is a godsend. Took my pups last minute, treated them like the royalty they deserved, and came out better looking than me. That's not saying much I know, but still the point is still the same. To continue, the compound was well maintained, user friendly to navigate, the animals were well taken care of, and greeted with smiles from both staff and patrons. I will be going back, I will be requesting Jenn, and I will be satisfied with the work they do AGAIN!

We tried several different kennels for our dogs and after leaving them at Chesapeake Pet Resorts, we'll never go anywhere else. The staff cares about our dogs, the facility is clean, and the grooming services are awesome too! Thank you Chesapeake Pet Resort for taking great care of our pets!

Jennifer and Jacob have been wonderful with our pup! I talked to Jennifer at length prior to bringing him for his first grooming appointment and she took wonderful care in easing him into all of the sounds and sights of grooming. She's like the dog whisperer!

Staff are phenomenal with our rescue dog who has some separation concerns. They are wonderful to work with and always sharing their techniques of what might work to help our dog.

I have a very old cat that pretty much stopped grooming himself. He's part Maine coon as well. I could not find a groomer to get his mats out because he is also VERY grumpy. When I called and explained his. circumstances Chesapeake Pet Resort made his appointment. I figured when I dropped him off they would turn me away, but nope, Jacob took his cage and they explained to me their procedure and answered all my questions.

When all was said and done. I couldn't be happier about their work. He looked so much better than expected and he was much more comfortable. In my opinion, this is truly a 5 star resort! Thank you guys so much! Tobby thanks you too!

Jen and Jacob are excellent groomers. We've been taking our Boxers and Golden Retriever mix to them for years. If the hair salon hadn't opened, I might have had them cut my hair Lol. Thank you Chesapeake Pet Resort!

Toni before and after grooming by Autumn. Autumn always makes Toni look beautiful and feel her best. We have been bringing Toni to Chesapeake for 7 years for grooming. We love Autumn and how sweet she is to Toni. I know she makes Toni feel special and we appreciate that so much. I always refer family and friends to Chesapeake.

Everyone was so friendly and got all 4 of my dogs (and my parents 3) in so quickly for grooming. During this crazy time and being new to the area it's been hard to find a place! They did such an awesome job and we highly recommend Chesapeake Pet Resort! Thank you again, we'll be back!

Amazing service! Chesapeake Pet Resort is hands down the place I trust with my cat. We've used their in-home service because my cat is on the older side and I didn't want to stress him out by taking him to a boarding service. I was really impressed with how diligently the owners kept in touch with me -- and even followed up with a phone call to let me know that he was doing fine. I was able to relax during a stressful trip knowing that our family's pet was being well taken care of. I wouldn't hesitate to call Chesapeake Pets again!

This is the place to take that four legged family member. We, I should say, our dobi has been vacationing there for the past six years. She enjoys it so much that she doesn't even take the time to say good bye. This is a good thing. The owner Sue and staff are all well educated about the dealings and care of your special family member. There are a number of activities offered from group play to nature walks.

This is a place that I'm secure that my baby will be well taken care of. I highly recommend doing a drop in (during business hours) to take a tour of the facilities. I can tell you that the staff treats each and every guest as if they were a member of their own family. Check their web site or Facebook page.

Been coming to chesapeake pet resort for the past five years. great folks, and they do understand if you call in often to check in on your fur babies. My shepherd has a different diet, so now they can say they have really dealt with all kinds of diets. LOL.Also, they understand the temperment of my dog.go and check them out!

When I first moved up from FL I had to look for a place to leave my dog when I would travel, etc. This place was recommended to me. I will elaborate later as to why I gave this place only 3 stars. 1. This place is great for dogs. My dog has really enjoyed playing here and the staff is very friendly. They say they are booked but I always manage to get a spot at last minute's notice.

Pick up and drop-off is a no-brainer, very easy. When they tell you your dog is going to be sleepy for a couple of days (due to playing so much), they really mean it. 2. One of the reasons I gave them 3 stars is b/c the way they "charge" you for the stay; it's by days not by nights. For instance, you drop off your pet at 9am and pick up your pet the next day, say before noon, you will get charged for two days!

When I lived in FL I had a great place I left my dog and they would charge by night rates not daily rates. To me this is unacceptable. 3. The pricing is a bit steep compared to FL. A whole $10/day difference! ($30 in MD and $20 in FL) Overall, the place is excellent (being that it's pretty much the only place in southern MD).
