The staff at White Bear Animal Hospital are always very friendly and helpful. I've brought my dog in who had a few odd ailments and behaviors and they came up with some very good and creative solutions. They also follow up every time after this type of visit to make sure my dog is doing better! Everyone at White Bear Animal hospital is so friendly and welcoming.I have been bringing my dog here for 2 1/2 years and I wouldn't go anywhere else! We recently added a new puppy to the family and the staff answered all our questions and concerns which was really comforting.

As with people, vaccinations help keep our pet dogs and cats safe from a wide variety of infectious diseases. The specific vaccinations your pet might need will depend on its age and lifestyle and will be determined after consultation with one of our veterinarians. White Bear Animal Hospital uses Electronic Medical Record keeping or EMR.
White Bear Animal Hospital is located at 1909 East County Road E in White Bear Lake, Minnesota on the northeast corner of Highland Avenue and County Road E between Highway 61 and White Bear Avenue. We are 1.8 miles east of Highway 35E, 0.7 miles east of Highway 61, 0.2 miles west of White Bear Avenue and 1.7 miles west of Century Avenue / Highway 120.
In the event of a pet emergency during our normal office hours, please call ahead if possible and proceed directly to our veterinary practice for emergency pet care. After hours emergencies are referred to The Animal Emergency & Referral Center of Minnesota (AERC) with locations in Oakdale and St. Paul.

Very nice people for the most part but like most things medical it can be more about the routine of running the business than really doing thorough medical or in this case veterinarian work. I do still go here but honestly I feel like I'm the one figuring things out sometimes. On several occasions I've had to bring my dog back for additional visits that really shouldn't of had to happen had the work been thorough. But they are nice and probably about par for the course now days so we would still recommend them with this in mind

I have been bringing my dogs to White Bear Animal hospital for over 20 years. Dr. Dalton has taken such good care of them! Dr. Dalton and the entire crew have become family to me. They are always so kind and helpful! I lost my two fur babies in the past year and a half. They lived good long lives thanks to the care they received from Dr. Dalton and their crew!
They were there for me and my family too! Dr. Dalton would personally call to see how we were doing! They sent me cards signed by everyone there! They knew and loved my dogs which means the world to me! Now we rescued a new 4 yr. old cutie. I already made sure Dr. Dalton checked him out and I know he will keep our new little Nugget healthy for many years! White Bear Hospital is the best! The people become your extended family. I wouldn't take my dogs anywhere else!

Our dog Lucy sees alot of specialists and we needed to establish a relationship with a general Vet that can work with the specialists in managing her conditions. After all the specialty care Lucy has gotten, this was a scary prospect for us.until we found White Bear Animal Hospital! This is an outstanding clinic in all respects. Everyone is friendly, considerate, professional and respectful.
Their processes are efficient and they gave us a sense of security and trust that Lucy was in good hands. Dr. Nicklay was thorough and fabulous to work with. We had worried about trying to explain the plethora of conditions Lucy has but we had an awesome, understanding and compassionate introductory visit with her. In these times of horrific stress on the veterinary world with being overwhelmingly busy, this clinic continues to care and serve our pets in an outstanding manner! We feel very fortunate to have them as part of Lucy's care team!

White Bear Animal Hospital is a wonderful place to bring your pets for routine check-ups or when your pet is feeling ill. Everyone here, from the front desk, to the vet techs, and of course the doctors are all professional, kind, and practical. My wife and I have brought three of our cats here, and the doctors have helped us navigate everything. They helped us with treatment for kidney disease, and (sadly) end-of-life care for one of our cats.
My in-laws also bring their cats to WBAH and have been very happy with the care they've received. Beyond the compassion of the staff, their pragmatism is to be commended when suggesting treatments and courses of action. All the doctors also have a good sense of (appropriate) humor, with one of them joking to our gray floof "If you get bored of living with these guys, you can come to my place!". I can strongly recommend WBAH as a place to bring your pets. They're fantastic!

We have used this clinic since we moved back in August of 2012 on a recommendation by another tenant at our apartment complex. We have been very happy ever since. Doctors and Techs always treat our animals as if they were their own. My dogs have always been nervous about clinics but not here, especially now that they are in their senior years. They love getting the attention they receive. Even when we get new pets we will be more than happy to visit here continuously. Love our Vets and Techs.
