My Dog's Place is NO place for your dog! Stay far far away from this business! The owner, Marge is a liar. Back in our initial interview with her, I explained that our yellow lab has never been in a crate. She assured me that he would never be put into a crate unless it was an emergency situation. Flash forward to today, when I arrive to see my dog in a crate.
Their explanation was that he was barking too much. That is completely unacceptable! If you are bothered by dogs barking, I am not sure why you are running this business. Furthermore, a month back, when I picked him up from school, his face was cut up and bloody. When I asked what happened, they stated that our 4 year old yellow lab was being aggressive.
In four years, our dog has never attacked or been physical with anyone or animal. It was troublesome that not only did they fail to apologize but went so far as to blame my dog for his injuries. I can only assume this is because they do not want to be responsible for vet bills for his injuries. Do NOT take your dogs here! Over the course of two years, my dog's place has proved itself to be highly unprofessional and dishonest. You should not have to worry about a company lying to you and then blaming you for their own negligence. STAY FAR FAR AWAY!

We brought our young rescue dog to My Dog's Place for a 7 week Basic Obedience course this fall and it was an amazing experience! Marge was so patient with our wild child and we saw so much progress from week to week! She also made herself available before class and any time through email to answer questions about other behavioral issues not being addressed in the basic class. We will definitely be back for advanced classes in the future!

I am thrilled that Daisy (our corgi puppy) and I found My Dog's Place. Casey (and Jennifer) were awesome at answering all my questions before enrolling Daisy in puppy daycare (including sending me an application, schedule, and prices), and Casey has been especially awesome at both giving me updates (comfort!) during the day while Daisy is there and information on other services (e.g., training classes). It's super easy to make sure Daisy is on the list for daycare on the days I need her to be there (I've done this both by email and by phone).
They have great COVID precautions in place, and I feel safe dropping off and picking up Daisy (you have to call beforehand, each time). The lovely folks at My Dog's Place make sure to give the pups leashed potty breaks throughout the day, which is nice. It's also nice that they divide up the dogs by size and play style, which is something that worries me at times when we go to the dog park and/or even other puppy play dates.
Even though Daisy *thinks* she's a big dog (that corgi attitude.!) she is actually a tiny little thing, so I feel better knowing she is playing with pups who are her own size. :) I feel great because she's SO excited about going to daycare, and she comes back nice and tuckered out afterwards, which makes for nice quiet evenings! Overall, this is a wonderful place for pooches, and I am so happy to have these professionals on our team. Thank you from me and Daisy!

My Kaios has been a regular since she was 10 weeks old at My Dogs Place, participates in socials weekly, has taken puppy kindergarten, basic manners, life skills and agility I/II and III. The facility is huge, lots of room to run during socials and the ability to section it off based on the dogs needs is a nice touch. Also has a separate room for classes if needed and the outdoor areas are sectioned and fenced off.
Easy location right off the highway and plenty of parking. The instructors are top notch - knowledgeable and able to articulate ways to train your puppy using positive reinforcement - this is a positive reinforcement training facility - no exceptions to that. When training a new pup or teaching an old dog new tricks, it's important to remember it's the people training that you're paying for, so my advice to anyone seeking help with their pups to leave your egos at the door, listen, and let Marge and her crew do what they do best - My pup is awesome and we owe a lot to My Dogs Place for their guidance and help raising her.

My dog is a 15 yo very sweet little boy who doesn't do well on a leash. And has never been in a crate. I was lectured for at least 10 minutes at the front desk how that makes me an idiot. I kept saying "than perhaps this won't work for Jack" to which she responded "did I say that?, I didn't say that" except she really did. Over and over again. I finally walked out holding Jack while she kept telling my back how he needs the be on a leash and be crated. Bye-bye!

I can not say enough great things about this place! We got our sweet Ace unexpectedly when he was left in a neighbors yard, we weren't looking to adopt and had very little experience with dogs (we have 3 cats and a turtle lol). When his holding time was up at animal control we were scrambling to find a daycare for him to go to during the week while we worked.
Our landlords actually mentioned MDP to us and then when we mentioned it to our vet they also recommended we check it out. We met the owner Marge at a puppy social and she approved Ace for daycare and ghave us a ton of first time dog parent tips. He absolutely LOVES going and seeing his human and pup friends! Since his first day, he has taken 2 obedience classes with the General Manager Jenn, she is very patient and knowledgeable. The entire staff are wonderful and kind. We just LOVE what My Dogs Place has done for Ace!

Like Mathew's experience, I got into with the owner over buying a pass and was told a lie that my dogwatcher had picked up the dogs and was given a notice, that the pass was used up. Not true. I brought my dogs to this dump of a daycare for 6 years. The owner is fat, lazy and never even says hello when you bring in your dogs. She had me paying in cash, because it's a shady business from A to Z and I doubt that she pays her fair share to the IRS. I do not recommend My Dog's Place. They are not customer friendly and the facility is run down and beat up.
