The Obedience Dog Training Club of Waterbury, Inc., now located in Oxford, CT was founded in 1946. The club, run entirely by volunteers, is dedicated to the training of dogs and their handlers both for fun and for competition. We believe that all dogs benefit from obedience training and have helped thousands learn to train their dogs either as a better behaved pet or a highly trained obedience competitor. For the Pet Dog, our Puppy class is designed to get dog owners and their puppies off to a good start.

Weekly i go here to meet up with my dog trainer, his dogs and another client or 2 tops, due to covid i think is the regulation of only 4people even though the room inside is huge. It has all the obstacles, tunnels, ramps, jumps to use. Half a dozen cages to crate dogs as when working with another. (4 people with 7dogs) and the flooring is perfect mats for this, and mirrors along the walls is great for this purpose too.

A variety of information is there as well on the tables and wall. Great place i didnt know existed until my trainer brought us there. If you can utilize this place with your trainer.you have a good trainer and a great club

We've gone through AKC Star Puppy, Canine Good Citizen, and now Advanced Obedience. Classes are fun, positive, and we are learning a lot. Our instructor has been Frank.
