We offer the only truly CAGELESS daycare program in the Lowcountry, guaranteeing you an exhausted pup or sleepy kitty when you return from your day trip. We have the highest staff to client ratio of any pet facility in the Lowcountry and that allows us to give YOUR special pets attention unlike anywhere else around. From daycare to grooming to boarding, Camp Green Dog can support your pet's needs. We LOVE Camp Green Dog! My year old Cavalier gets so excited every time we arrive in front of the building.
Services
The idea of Camp Green Dog came about from a passion for rescue animals that started with 2, then 4 and eventually we had 11 dogs, 2 cats, 2 horses and a donkey. Prior to building Camp Green Dog I was in the sales field on a regional basis which meant traveling a couple days a week, and at that time the area lacked a facility that combined the elements of safety, fun and affordability.
Thank You for your interest in Camp Green Dog. Whether you are looking to board your pet, have them play for the day, or get them a fantastic groom, we hope you will stop by to see how truly passionate we are about our animals. Our goal from the very beginning has been to provide the best balance of quality care, services and pricing in the Lowcountry.
Designed from scratch to be the safest, cleanest and most affordable boarding facility in the Lowcountry, we feel we nailed it! Spacious economy suites that average in size of 4' x 5', family suites of 6'x6' and giant garden suites of 6'x7'. Over 10,000 sq feet of covered yards insure your dogs ability to get out and play no matter what the weather is.
Animals are fed up to 3 times a day and in the quantities the owner specifies. We feed Purina products and there is no extra charge for our food. We recommend you bring your pets own food if it is a short stay so that they have continuity and increased comfort. Unlike virtually any other boarding facility, daycare at camp Green Dog is INCLUDED in your boarding package.

Was in town to checkout area for potential relocation. Our big dog Brody travels with us everywhere and likes spending time with other dogs and does doggie day care twice a week when we are home. The folks at Camp Green dog were very welcoming and friendly to him. Left feeling very secure in their facility and staff. When we returned for pick up he was socializing and having a great time.
We came back again a couple days later and it was just like our place at home- he was tail wagging happy to visit his new bubs and greated by the staff as a regular. After both visits he was ready to relax for the night.

We had to go out of town and we only had short notice. They were able to accommodate us and take care of our little guy who recently was hurt. They handle his medication and gave him a warm and comfortable place to stay with little to zero stress. We never seen him so happy away from us. The staff is super friendly and helpful. We would recommend to anyone needing to board their pets or have just basic care during the day.

Honestly I am one to not board my dogs. But we had no choice. Jake and Aubrey ( my two pups) have been boarded 3 times their entire lives and this was the first time that they came back and weren't skittish nor any personality change. They seemed super happy with Camp Green Dog. They even helped me bring the pups to my truck when I picked them up.
In the event I ever need to board my pups I know for sure I'll utilize them and have zero stress. Rachel and Whitney were amazing every time I called to make sure the pups were acting okay. They even squeezed in a grooming and my dogs feel soft and their nails are trimmed. You can't possibly get better service. I will definitely recommend this business to anyone. They also offer military discount so that's a big plus

I have been taking my dog, Remington, here for a little over a year. I love how accommodating they are and their hours. They are open 7-7, which allows me time to drop off and pick up before/after work. Very convenient as most boarding places open at 8 and close around 5. Remington, also really enjoys coming here. She is always happy to greet the staff and is always tired on the ride home.
I've never had any complaints with the customer service, staff, or care of my dog. They also offer grooming services which is a convenient add on to boarding stays. The groomer does a great job when I have used them for a bath after a boarding. Likewise, when I opted out of a bath during a boarding stay, Remington has never come home dirty or smelly as I have had at other boarding facilities. I would recommend Camp Green Dog, to anyone around the Ridgeland area.

My boy dog spent 5 hours here for a grooming. It always takes them 4-5 hours for some reason? Today, I get a call 4 hours in that the groomer was an hour late to work and all my dog has had done was a bath. Wasted my time and my poor dog (who is like a child to me) still needs to be groomed. They weren't remotely sorry. Rude! I'll go anywhere else! Only UP from here!

My husband and I moved to South Carolina over three years ago and have been taking our fur baby ever since! He has been going since he was only 3 months old. We live in Beaufort and it's about a 20 minute drive, but it's worth every trip we make for him throughout the week! The staff has been wonderful and the facility is always maintained.
Everything from daycare to boarding, grooming etc. They have a system that allows the safety of the dogs and staff to take priority which was really important to us. They are expanding and upgrading and it has only gotten better! Camp Greendog has been our dogs second home and we hope they never leave! River loves y'all!

If you live in the Beaufort area, & are headed to the Hilton Head Airport, Camp Green Dog is right on the way & so convenient! We loved that our energetic bloodhound could play in daycare & then be kenneled at night with a large run! He was so happy & tired when he got home! My mother was ill, & due to the circumstances, the staff were so understanding, helpful & flexible with our pick up time.
They were very understanding & comforting. I only wish that they had a Facebook page or video to see pictures of our baby while we were gone. They were very nice though, & gave me a nice little update on how he was, anytime I called.

We love Camp Green Dog for several reasons. The first and most important reason is the customer service. You will experience nothing short of professionalism from the welcoming hello when you call to the pickup goodbyes. My German Shepherd is always happy after being there for boarding and grooming.mostly due to the energy he burns when he is there while playing with all kinds of furry friends. We are so thankful to have a place where our dog is known by his name and where the staff takes time to get to know him. We love it!

Camp Green Dog is a wonderful cage free day care facility (and kennel). Our two labs always arrive here with their tails wagging. We have also used them for overnight stays for a week or more and have never had any issues. While gone, we often emailed for updates, and the responses were timely and always helped to ease our anxiety while separated from our "boys". We are very thankful to have this facility close by.

Absolutely love Camp Green Dog! We travel often and have to leave our pets. CGD has taken care of my pets through immediate need of a death in the family to planned vacations. When we get back, our pets are happy and healthy! You can tell they have been well treated and loved while I was gone. They give our dog his meds on time and accommodate special requests for diet.
When our pets can't be home with us (or us with them!), I rest assured that CGD and the team of loving staff are taking care of my furr-family. One of our favorite features is Doggie Day Care. When we want to go out for the day, we take our dog to Day Care. He gets a bath and comes home tired! We lost one of our dogs last July and Doggie Day Care helped our grieving dog transition and cope with the loss with weekly trips to see other dogs. All around - best place to take your pet.

We love camp green dog! My husband is in the military and we travel home to see family frequently, so we've used CGD often. Camp green dog is always accommodating with our rescue pup who needs a little extra care. I never have to worry when we're across the state visiting knowing our dog is here! The staff is friendly and they offer a military discount. Highly recommend

The staff at Camp Green Dog is wonderful. My Pup Ellie is 15 years old and has congestive heart failure and is suffering from a bit of dementia; she must have meds twice a day. I have had to leave Ellie in their care for as long as 10 days and every time, she is completely happy and thriving! I couldn't be more pleased and Ellie seems to enjoy her time there as well. Thank you Camp Green Dog Staff for taking such good care of my Ellie!

We started bringing our [now] 17 month old Black Lab puppy, Beau, to Camp Green Dog (CGD) about 3 months ago.and WHAT a transformation that has occurred in him in just the time that he's been attending weekly camp sessions! Beau has always been a very submissive and dependent-type personality; he's the sweetest and most loving little guy, but since we rescued him from another family when he was about 3 months old, we had some personal work to do with him to help build his confidence and reassurance in us, people, and other dogs. Beau is the type where he loves being with us at all times, especially for car rides.
He loved getting into the car every morning, but once we arrived at CGD, he'd shimmy himself into the corner of the back seat so that he wouldn't have to get out. I remember a few times very early on, that I would arrive with him and felt so bad that he wouldn't get out of the car that I decided not to push him to go that day and we turned right around.
We started off with Beau attending a few times a week, but only half-day sessions. To maintain repetition we slowly built up his attendance frequency, still only being the half-day sessions. We'd pick him up and you would've thought that we were gone for years, he just wanted out of CGD (this was typical Beau behavior even when we went to do errands/went out for dinner leaving him at home, not CGD's fault by any means).
After some time, repetition, and stronger familiarity of CGD, this little guy went from burying himself into the back seat and pawing at me, essentially begging me not to drop him off, to now he's the MOST EXCITED pup; when my back hatch opens he bolts and heads right to CGD's front door. It's amazing the transformation that Beau has achieved with the help of CGD and its incredible staff.
I literally noticed two major successes for Beau that I attribute to CGD: 1) he no longer barks at every animal (he was a major barker for no good reason) because CGD thoroughly helped support and develop his socializing skills; and 2) the fact that when arrive to CGD he no longer has immediate separation anxiety, he literally pulls me inside (versus outside and back in the car) has made me so happy that Beau's stoked to attend now! Beau also has a very special bond with Fred, the owner; he's always been the sole person to greet him when we arrive during the weekday mornings, so Beau immediately took to Fred as his buddy.
And this friendship is now even stronger after 3 months! CGD's staff is always professional, caring, loving to all animals, are all genuinely good people, and the facility is very clean; all of which was highly important to us. Everyone at CGD has not only enhanced Beau's social life, but they've all contributed to his (and ours) success in becoming a confident and even happier boy! Beau, Beau's daddy, and I all give CGD 5++++ stars.

Camp Green Dog has been absolutely amazing. I just recently adopted my dog Bubba. a 110 lb Akbash, and moved down here from Colorado to South Carolina. They have made the move so easy. Recently, I have dealt with some behavior issues with Bubba due to all the stress of the move and they have been so helpful in providing me all the assistance that I need. Bubba is a big dog and can be hard to handle, but I have complete trust in the staff here.
They are all incredibly knowledgable and you can tell they have a real love for dogs. I honestly can't thank them enough! I recently moved back closer to Camp Green Dog so that I can continue to take Bubba there everyday. They have the best staff I have ever encountered, everyone is always so friendly and helpful. They have a big yard with a high fence where my big dog can run around all day while I am at work.
He is always the happiest dog when I drop him off and pick him up! He races in the door. I will never go anywhere else! Daycare and boarding are seamless and always a great experience. Thank you thank you thank you Camp Green Dog for being so AWESOME!

Driving down to HHI last minute from Philadelphia, I was unsure where to board my dog to not cost me a fortune and have day care included. I found Camp Green Dog online and I am so glad I did! From the moment I arrived (it was so easy to get to) everyone was so friendly and the place was SO CLEAN. The staff showed me to where my Bella would be boarded, and the play areas.
I left feeling comfortable about her stay. I did call a few times to check on her, but was assured she was doing well. Usually when I pick her back up after boarding, she is thin, and has hot spots from her nerves. When I went to get my baby, she was healthy weight, rested, and no hot spots at all! I was very very happy with Camp Green Dog and will use them again next year!

I LOVE this place! And so does my dog. The staff is professional, friendly, kind, and they always go above and beyond to take care of my dog. They are very flexible and will work with you to make sure you are happy. My dog loves the doggy daycare, baths, boarding, and lights up whenever she sees the staff. It is wonderful to have peace of mind when leaving my dog in a safe, clean, and happy environment. I will continue to recommend this business to all of the dog lovers in my life.

You cant find a better staff to leave mans best friend to. They are always so kind and my dog Bibi has blast at daycare all day while Momma and Papa are out at work. Having them around and so close to home is a great convenience. 5/5 for best staff, clean facilities, and affordable prices! P.S. I have used their overnight boarding as well for when my work takes me away, and because you can opt in for your dog to mingle with the daycare dogs throughout the day, you have no worries about your buddy being caged up except for nap times, chow times, and sleep time! -100% Satisfied Customer! Thanks Camp Green Dog!

I'm always a little nervous to leave my precious Tikka anywhere: she's shy and can be a little skiddish around pups and people alike. I worry for her, definitely too much, mainly because I know she had a pretty rough life before she made it to me and I don't want her to have to go through anything like that ever, ever again. Okay, wiping away my angry tears towards the horrible people out there who could fathom abusing/neglecting a poor puppy. Moving on!
While I think Tikka is God's gift to me, I know not everyone feels that way. And when I realized our Thanksgiving celebration in South Carolina amounted to 20+ adults and some pretty active 2 year olds, we all agreed that "camp" might be a good solution for Tikka, at least for a few days. My mom heard about Camp Green Dog through a local's recommendation and despite it being an hour away from our house in SC we decided that with the Sunday pickup available it was worth it.
While Tikka was understandably quite nervous when we dropped her off, she seemed to be pleased as punch upon pickup. We picked her up a day earlier than planned (yeah, I blame the separation anxiety on her!) and the fine folks at Camp Green Dog were happy to acquiesce to our needs. Plus, when I called they told me all about how much fun Tikka had been having and how pretty she was. Flattery will get you everywhere, friends.
Especially when you flatter my dog. The facility is clean and new without being sterile. I didn't take a full tour (although they offer one) but I do know they've always got several dogs playing up front by the desk and they all seem to be very well controlled. Day care is also available in addition to overnight boarding, and all of the prices were very reasonable. Plus, HUGE props go out to their commitment to animal rescue.
They coordinate adoptions, raise money and collect supplies, and obviously give some extra TLC to those poor pups who's lives didn't start out quite so charmed. All in all, neither Tikka nor I would mind returning.
