Services
Pals for Paws is a family-owned and operated business owned by Aaron and Rebecca Dirks, both graduates of the University of Iowa class of 2007. In addition to the two of us, we have a team of two full-time dog walkers (Hope and Susan), two part-time dog walkers (Rick and Grace), and one beloved backup/holiday sitter (Emory).
We are looking to add a responsible animal lover to help with our mid-day dog walks, along with 1-2 short evenings (7-10pm) and one full weekend day. Total hours 15-25 to start, increasing to 30-35 in the summer. Preference given to applicants with demonstrated animal care experience and animal care references!
Visits in North Liberty, Coralville, Tiffin, and Iowa City are $20 for a 20-minute visit, all inclusive for petsitting, dog walking, and any medication. Slightly longer visits for Petsitting or Dog Walking may be available upon request - availability does depend on our schedule and are priced at $25 for 30 minutes.

If you're looking for someone to treat your furbabies like family - this is it. The Pals for Paws staff provide my two dogs with walks, potty breaks, attention and treats when I am stuck at the office for long periods of time. Not only do both dogs love it, the follow up pictures and feedback I receive are often the highlight of my day. Recently, when one of my dogs suffered an injury, I knew Pals for Pets would be my saving grace and be able to provide the mid-day care my dog needed.
They provided updates and pictures, which eased my worries and allowed me to not miss time from work when I would have otherwise had to have been home providing the care myself or had to board my dog at the vet. They are punctual, incredibly responsive and a great bargain for the time and attention they provide. Highly recommend!
