Had the opportunity to work here thinking it would be great. These breeding dogs are bought from a puppy mill and breed multiple times per year. They are seem by a vet once per year and that is only to diagnose problems, not treat them. Dogs are kenneled and only permitted to be outside for roughly 2 to 3 hours in the morning. That leaves these dogs to a kennel roughly 4ft x 7ft two to a kennel and no outside access. Yeah, you heard that right. Pups that are going into whelping (about to have their pups in a few days) spend their entire 24 hours in a room with no windows, no ventilation, and no outside access.
Not only is their zero outside access, but these mothers will no see the outside or daylight until the pups are done nursing. Im sure you can imagine how stressful this on these dogs. Puppies being sold come with price tags in the 1000's. Do you know not one puppy ever sees a vet before leaving the facility? Not only should one not buy a puppy from this facility, but this facility should be closed permanently.
If you think these warnings are false, they have also been documented, pictured and submitted to the Ohio Department of Agriculture which will be available for public view once processed. Just because someone drops their numbers from 100 to 25 dogs does not mean they are not a puppy mill. This place has earned that title for sure! As a pet enthusiast and a reptile company owner, always look a little further than just the purchase.

We got our dog there around 4 years ago and she felt like a rescue. She was dirty, caked in feces and acted like she had never interacted with a human before (extremely fearful, shacking). This year we found out she has double hip dysplasia, a hereditary condition that is caused by unprofessional and reckless breading. Please do not support this horrendous company by buying a dog, you are not rescuing them, but allowing more dogs to be put in their same position.

We adore our golden doodle. She is absolutely gorgeous. Our Gracie is black and white. She has beautiful fur and does shed at all. She has a delightful disposition and is highly intelligent. She is a great addition to our family We were disappointed that when we picked her up as a 12 week puppy we discovered that she was being treated for an u- tract infection.
When we took her to our vet we found that she had giardia and ear mites. With extra care all of these ailments were taken care of. We paid 2200 for a miniature and a miniature she is not. She is 56 lbs. However in all fairness to Greg he did inform us that he cannot guarantee the size. We do have an absolutely wonderful pet who we love so much and she makes us so happy!

I am not sure why others rated Eaglecross Kennels low, because our experience was completely the opposite. We researched the facility and the puppies prior to arriving. We had some questions and spoke with Greg both on the phone and through text msg, as well as receive emails from Jen. They always provided us with information we asked for and were knowledgeable about the breeds.
We drove over 5 hours to choose our new family puppy and told Greg and Jen our top puppy selections prior to arriving. Jen had the puppies ready when we showed up. She helped answer any questions we had and helped us through the entire process. They gave our new puppy a bath before we left too. We are extremely satisfied with our puppy and the service that we received.
Our puppy is such a loving addition to our family and is so friendly to our kids and any person she comes in contact with. She has such a sweet temperament and is healthy and active. We are very happy!

Interesting reviews. A few comments. 1. I love my dog. Greg described his dogs as "biddable", meaning they will want to please you. This dog goes beyond pleasing me, and makes me laugh EVERY DAY. He is the most wonderful companion I could have imagined, and I don't think his disposition is an accident, but rather careful breeding. For what it's worth, I've not previously really been what one would call "a dog person". 2.
The operations were fine. I'm a clean freak and I sat down on the floor at Eaglecross to get to know my puppy better. Riley was clean and healthy and quite frankly I don't get what happened with these other folks. No signs of it in July 2015. I have recommended Eaglecross to many people, including my sister and brother-in-law who is a vet. They also had a great experience with both the kennel and the dog. It's almost as if there are 2 Eaglecross Kennels.
