A+ Pets and Plants has been providing professional and reliable pet sitting and dog walking services to pet parents throughout the Central Savannah River Area since 2001. We are available 365 days a year for your furry friends; rain or shine. For our existing clients, we provide short-notice booking should you need us in a pinch.

The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is a non-profit organization dedicated to preventing cruelty to animals. Based in New York City since its inception in 1866, the organization's mission is "to provide effective means for the prevention of cruelty to animals throughout the United States."
For reliable service with the least liability, it is required that all clients obtain and utilize a key storage lock box to hold a key to the residence. Clients should obtain one with at least a four digit code that either easily hangs from a doorknob or railing, or is wall mounted. This policy does not apply to those with key-less entries.

It was okay. Original sitter that was assigned was only there once but I know it was a busy week for them. I just wish I knew before hand that 3 sitters would be at my home. For three people in my home they only laid eyes on 1 of my cats for the whole week which had me worried by the end of the week. I even expressed my concern to the sitter and she didn't seem worried that she had not seen but one cat all the times she had been there I left specific instructions that we given by email and left on the counter for review but we're not followed. Cats were overfed and someone put feed in my rabbits litter box instead of his shavings which could have made him sick. All of this was explained clearly in the instructions had they have been read. But all in all the animals were okay when I got home.

Usually, we have a family member watch our pets when we go out of town, however, family wasn't available for our most recent trip and so we set up service with A+ Pets and Plants. I was a little anxious because one of our two dogs is a clingy rescue who can be a little protective and nippy when he's anxious. But A+ was great! Not only did they come over and get to know our pets before we left, while we were gone we received fun texts and pictures every time they paid a visit to our home. We came home to very relaxed and happy pets. I cannot recommend them enough!

My pet sitter did an awesome job taking care of my big girls (adult chickens) as well as my babies. Since the chickens and chicks were separated because of their size and age difference, they required more detailed attention. My pet sitter met me before my 9-day vacation to run through the pet care routine, and I never worried about them while I was was away from them.
In fact, my pet sitter was kind enough to text me every day to assure me my pets were fine but "missing me." (lol) They loved her and followed her around the chicken run. Everyone was safe and healthy when I got home. I've used A+ Pet and Plants at least 4 times now, and they have never let me down. I trust them more than my own family to take care of my beloved pets.

Terrie does a terrific job of taking care of my dog Miss Honey (plus blinds, plants, mail, etc ) when I go out of town. Terrie texts photos every day and sends me an update on what she and Honey have been up to. Miss Honey loves the belly rubs and walks she gets from Terrie so this means I don't have to feel guilty about traveling. This is a terrific reliable company!
