Over the years, our experienced and compassionate team has provided tender, loving veterinary care to thousands of pet patients - many for the duration of their lives. As caring providers of quality preventive, medical and surgical veterinary care, our goal is to help you keep your beloved pets healthier and happier at every stage of their lives.
We understand that a visit to the veterinarian can be stressful for some pets. Downloading and filling out your forms in advance can help make your visit with us as quick and as stress free as possible for both you and your pet. We can't wait to meet you! Please arrive 5-10 minutes earlier than your appointment time to complete any information needed with our front desk. To help ensure the safety of your pet, other pets, and our staff, please make sure that your pet is either on a leash or in a carrier.
Pet health insurance can help you to more easily afford your pet's health care. Pet insurance companies allow you to be reimbursed for veterinary expenses, while receiving quality health care at the veterinarian of your choice. Every pet insurance company offers different types of policies. Some pet health insurances cover wellness care, while others will only cover accident or illness.
We provide emergency and urgent care during regular business hours, from 7:30am until 7pm weekdays, and from 8am until 3pm on Saturdays. If you believe your pet has a life-threatening emergency, please call us at (480) 595-5731 or bring your pet in right away. If your pet has consumed anything that could be of danger to them, contact your nearest emergency veterinarian or your AZPetVet hospital immediately.

Dr Muir is very knowledgeable and compassionate. She knew exactly what we needed to hear and took great care in examining our pup, Oliver. She took her time to explain her concerns and we agree with her treatment plan. The staff is friendly and also very competent. We are very happy with Dove Valley Clinic. Thank you all.

You guys are all amazing! The Dr took her time and explained everything to me and was so detailed. She didn't make us feel rushed. She cares and it shows. I absolutely love the staff and doctors at Dove Valley Animal Hospital. I also know my fur babies are in great care when they are there. My dog Emma is going to have knee surgery by Dr K in June and I know she's in great hands!

The whole staff, from the front desk to the practitioners, is awesome. They are super kind and upbeat, even though they work crazy hours. Their care is top notch and they explain everything down to the little details. Vet costs can get expensive without insurance, but the value at DV is phenomenal. Awesome Docs and staff, we are lifers!

Callie had her teeth cleaned by Dr. Likewise. I was very concerned regarding anesthesia being administered. Dr. Likewise and staff assured me that labs would be run and monitored closely. I received updates on how she was doing. This is the first veterinary clinic she hasn't been apprehensive and shy. Everything went fine, and she's back to herself. I highly recommend them.

My husband has been going to Dr. K for probably more than 20 years, he's knowledgeable, friendly and has an amazing wit and really cares about all your critters! If you have a reptile he's the guy to see but also great for cats and dogs. The rest of the vets there are great and very knowledgeable as well. All of their advice has been spot on and I have many healthy happy pets.
Most recently my 12 yo German Shepard got valley fever and after a year and great care from all the staff my girl is valley fever free! The facility is clean, welcoming, the support staff are wonderful and friendly and they offer payment plans if needed. One of the things I love best besides the care is they will try to offer the least expensive treatments and tests and then go from there.
They will work with you, also I highly suggest getting their free vaccinations for life program. Has really saved us in last couple of years. I know this is a glowing review but I've really never had a bad experience going there even when having to deal with the inevitable tough stuff that comes from having pets that don't last as long as you, they really are compassionate and caring. Old school service, the local family vet kind of feel.
