Our story begins with our bright-eyed and happy-go-lucky dog, Annie. She was unlike any animal that had set foot into our lives. Her soul spoke directly to your heart. She had an undeniable intelligence, an infectious energy, and the purest love for her family. Just as in your household, Annie was not just our "pet, " she was a key member of our family.
Whether you come to us directly, or through a local veterinarian, our goal is to make this difficult situation as easy as possible for you and your family. If your pet is currently being cared for by one of our partnering veterinarians, they will guide you through the process. One of our team members will retrieve and return the remains directly to the clinic.
Each person's approach to dealing with loss is purely unique. As true as that may be, many people experience five similar feelings while coping with death; these are referred to as the Five Stages of Grief. Recognizing these feelings can make the process significantly easier. Please understand that all of these emotions are normal and allow yourself the time to grieve in order to begin healing. Anger - Anger can be felt in a form of pain and begins to provide structure for the rest of your coping process.
Listed are the Veterinary Clinics that work closely with Annie's Healing Hearts. If you use one of these Veterinarians you can be assured that your pet will be cared for through our service. If your vet is not listed, and you prefer that we provide the aftercare for your pet, you may want to print our authorization form and take it with you so we will be notified.

We lost our pup, Nelly, after 13 years. She was a gift for my high school crush, she was at our feet for our wedding, she moved across the country with us into our first home, and she kissed both our children when they came home from the hospital. Needless to say, it was really difficult to let her go, but it was also hard leaving her body with the vet and having to trust that she'd be taken care of.
When we came back to get her ashes we were so happy to see such a beautiful urn with her name and an ID number labeled on it giving reassurance that we had her back. Unfortunately, in the past with other crematories we just received a can with what we were told was our dog but that's not the case with Annie's. Very happy our vet partners with them.

We lost our beloved Bandit late in the afternoon last Friday. The owner met with us on Saturday and eased our worries about getting Bandit's ashes back, they ensure you're getting your own pets back. This was a great worry for us but after speaking with the owner and seeing the immaculate state of their business we are 100% confident that Bandit was well taken care of while in their care. We had him back with us by Wednesday and the price was completely affordable. We can't recommend Annie's enough! The place in Bend still has not returned my call.

I didn't work directly with Annie's but my sweet girl Storm passed away about a week ago and the vet that I was at sent Storm here to be cremated. I am forever thankful for them and the great job they did! The urn is beautiful and her clay paw print is more than I could ask for! I feel better knowing my sweet girl is home now thanks to Annie's!

My lab of 17 years just passed away recently and I was completely devastated. We had him sent to Annie's Healing Hearts to be cremated and I couldn't of asked for a more caring and loving service. He came back to us quickly in a hand carved wooden urn with a personal card and seeds to plant some wildflowers in his memory. It gave us much needed peace to know that Annie's Healing Hearts took care of him as if he was part of their family.
