Mad4MyDog has amazing trainers, groomers, and all around the most amazing people working there. The pet food selection is beyond amazing. My dog and I have been patrons since 2019. They will go out of their way to help you with any behavioral issues with dogs and teach you to work as a team with your dog Just the most phenomenal amazing dog training, grooming, and pet supply around Bloomington Indiana.

We adopted a 10mo old neglected Great Dane. He was 80lbs when we got him and we knew our window to get him trained before he hit the VERY ACTIVE 1-3 year zone at 150lbs was small. Thanks to the owner and her crew our "lil" puppy was easier to handle in those chaos years and has calmed substantially Oooo and they have great play dates and nail trims.

The entire staff has been extraordinary in helping to educate this novice pet parent. In addition to a plethora of classes and workshops, they offer play dates, a full service grooming salon, food, toys and supplies. We have attended many classes and workshops and each one has been fantastic. They are never to busy to share guidance and education on the fly or to help seek a solution.
They've groomed my pup every 4-5 weeks for the last 2 years and she comes home happy and beautiful every single time. The folks at M4MyDog genuinely care. They are a win-win for dog owners and for the community they serve.

We took our french bulldog, Lloyd to the puppy play times and small breed play times last summer. Lloyd had so much fun meeting other dogs and learned to become social in such a positive way! We were so pleased with these play times that we signed up for the basic dog class. Madalyn did an unbelievable job in teaching so many skills to Lloyd and myself, as an owner.
I will definitely be signing Lloyd up for more of the play times and lessons! Madalyn and her team are helpful and very knowledgeable about caring for dogs. It is so wonderful to have a trainer and facility here right where I live.

Fabulous local business. We've shopped there for food/treats, attended multiple training classes, used grooming services, gone to play dates, and had the pleasure of using their dog sitters. We've been 100% satisfied with every aspect. After adopting a rescue pup with anxiety and behavioral problems, we leaned heavily on Madalyn to help us with things like resource guarding and abandonment issues. The staff is so accommodating (shout out to Sabrina) and their pet sitters are so kind and responsive (thanks Paula, Kayla, Remi, and Stephanie)!

I love my dogs very much, and I trust this facility with their care completely. We've been coming to them for years to groom our dog, and we always know our dog will be well cared for and safe. He came from an abusive home so he needs somebody with a gentle touch. So glad that we have this business available to us and 10/10 would recommend to anybody who loves their pet. Also, very clean and covid safe.

This place is great! Our pup has been there for classes as well as play groups. We had a minor issue and what the issue was is not important. Madeline responded quickly, appropriately and professionally. We are about to sign our pup for a third class! They have been extremely good at teaching us as dog owners how to achieve a well behaved puppy! I definitely think if you are on the fence about using this business, absolutely you should do it!

Took our 2 dogs there for the $25 Jumping class (how to train our dogs not to jump on people). It said it would be outdoors with weather permitting. It was a beautiful day but the class was indoors in a small room next to the grooming/pet store area. 4 dogs were in attendance. The class was a looooong 45 minutes. Our 2 Moyan poodles, a German Shepard & a pit bull.
It was the first class for our dogs, 4 & 5 years old & had little interaction experience with other dogs. It was a "one-size fits all" class. The shepherd & pit bull we're not compatible so each of our dogs were paired with one of them. The pit was an energetic, aggressive young dog. Kept lunging & barking to get off the leash. Our dogs were terrified of him, could not even begin to grasp the tasks the trainer was giving us to do.
At one point the trainer had us do an exercise where dogs were paired with each other & we were told to "let them meet & sniff" each other, turn around & return to our spot. When it came to my dog being led into a lunging barking pit bull, he cowered and was shaking. I just turned him around and led him back to our spot. The trainer said "good job".
It was a poor poor training class that we regret putting our two dogs through it. The concept seemed doable but the actual session was poor. There was one actual trainer & 2 "assistants" who knew very little about what their part was in this training. I saw early on why it was only $25. We won't go back.

This was the worst experience of my life and I will never take my dog here again. I got a recommendation about this place from a good friend who said they were amazing and for a lower price than my current groomer so I decided to make the switch. I arrived back from a month long vacation and picked up my dog from a friend's house. He was understandably more matted than usual, especially around his face.
I spent 2 hours combing out his entire body getting rid of the mats before taking him to the groomer. When I arrived, the people were very nice and I felt comfortable leaving him in their hands. They asked what I wanted and I told them that his head was pretty matted so it would probably need a big chop off the top of his head, around his mouth, and under his chin.
They asked what they should do with his body and I explained that there were no mats because I had just bathed him and combed them out and said "just keep him cute I trust you". I go to pick up my dog and literally did not recognize him through the window. I held back tears and forked over 70 dollars and walked out to the car silently then cried the whole way home.
I literally don't recognize this dog and it looks like i some places he was cut down to the skin. The pictures speak for themselves I'm sure. I keep crying every time I look at him a day later and we were going to have him in family pictures but I genuinely do not want to remember him like this. He is a 8 month old puppy that now looks like an old man.
I understand in retrospect that I should've been more specific but I said I wanted him CUT not SHAVED. I could've done this at home for free. My boyfriend went back and argued with them and they did not offer any kind of partial refund or discounts. Bottom line: you do get what you pay for. Spend the extra 10 dollars and go elsewhere.

Our dog Lola visited the groomers at Mad 4 My Dog and they were wonderful with her. She hadn't visited a groomer before, and they were gentle and slow moving with her. I authorized the full service. They didn't try to sell me anything I didn't ask for. Purchased our girl a new collar and it was competitively priced. Highly recommend.

Madelyn and her staff are awesome. The customer service, knowledgeable staff, and treatment toward my dog Abby is far better than what I've experienced at any of the big box pet stores I've gone to in Bloomington and beyond. I bring my dog Abby here for grooming and doggie play dates and always leave with a smile on my face. If I had a more consistent schedule, I'd definitely take training classes and plan ahead to go to one of the many seminars M4MD offers. :

Took my newly adopted dog to M4MD for level 1 obedience training, and I couldn't be happier. Madalyn was great, and took time to help each individual dog owner both during and after class. My dog wasn't always the best student, but we learned a lot, and have already signed up for level 2 classes starting next month. The retail store is great too with lots of special discounts and a great selection.
