They have many homemade products here and nice people in general. Some of the prices listed on things such as litter are a little high. However this is understandable seeing how it's a local business and do not buy enough product in bulk to give cheaper prices from places such as petsmart or petco. If you are looking for something specific this is the place to go.
If you are looking for pet toys then look no further they have a huge selection of toys to pick from even bigger then other pet chain stores. The staff was incredibly friendly. Then there's the design of the store It has 3 levels! I was very impressed by the sheer quantity of everything they have. Always go out and support you local business if you can even if it means paying a little extra it goes a long way for the community!

This place is incredible! Anything you can dream up: they HAVE it! In fact, they probably have several different varieties of whatever you're looking for. Stop by when you have time to peruse their 3 floors of extensive inventory. You'll find things you didn't know you needed until --- there it is! They take care of locals and delight the tourists. The owner, Chris, is generous with advice and solutions for whatever pet needs you are tackling.

I stopped into this pet store for the first time after driving by many times. I just got a new puppy and wasn't happy with the harness that the shelter gave me. It constantly would come loose and I couldn't figure out how to tighten it for the life of me. I went in and was assisted by two very nice younger women. One of them helped me fit my pup but when I asked if the harness was too loose (because it was already shifting on his body), I was told no that it would give him room to grow into it.
It's been sliding all over since and that was my main concern with the other harness. I have tightened it all the way from what I can tell and it is still too loose. I honestly think he needed a size smaller. My other concern was that when fitting him (he's still a puppy mind you), I was asked that he stop biting the reps sweater "because it is from Japan". believe me, I have been trying to curb his chewing.
He's a puppy still and we were trying to put a harness on him that he didn't want to wear. If a sweater is that precious to you, you probably shouldn't wear it to work at a pet store. Overall, my experience was mildly pleasant and I do continue to stop in from time to time because the amount of cute treats will draw me back but I wasn't thrilled that my concern of coming in for a loose harness left me spending more money on another ill-fitted loose harness. Update: I just lowered the review a star because my puppy got out of his harness while I was walking him on his leash.

I have visite Pet Pantry several times because of the convenience of being close to where I live. They offer a wide variety of pet foods and have a diversity in dog and cat accessories. Needless to say, the store offers a discount if you live in town or your pet is a rescue! Go Rescue! My favorite are all the cookies they have for dogs, they look so good I could try them! Yes, they are prepared with human food grade!

This place used to be friendly and knowledgeable about dog and cat items. However, on a recent trip to their store I found the staff to be rude and not very helpful when asking for advice on specific products. They obviously love pets but dislike humans as everyone we interacted with there was rude and arrogant. Oh and they especially dislike kids! NOT KID FRIENDLY AT ALL!
They made my 4 year old cry for knocking over a metal sign by accident. It was also dirty and the upstairs lizard/iguana cage was nasty when you looked at all the "crap" gathered underneath it. Pretty unsanitary from the looks of it but then again, I am no microbiologist. Has anyone seen the office space in the upstairs of this place? If so, then the looks of that office is a great representation of how I feel this store is managed! Wish I had a pic to capture this! I wish these people well but remember friendliness goes a long way in retail!

I thought this place was adorable when I walked in over Labor Day Weekend. I like supporting local businesses and I needed some dog food to take on a camping trip. After I got back home to MA, I realized a week later that the dog food had expired in March of 2014. I called up to ask for a refund and was told I couldn't get one unless I could physically bring it back to the store.
When I realized the food expired I threw it out, plus I live far away. I was disappointed there was nothing else that could be done and felt this could have been handled better.
