Why does Bathe R Doggie not have 5 stars? I've taken my puppy Kona here since for almost a year every 4-6 weeks and have never had a single problem. Since she's a cocker spaniel, I have to get her groomed regularly and they make sure to take care of all of the details. It's really easy to book an appointment on their online system, I always get a phone call when they are finished (usually 1-2 hours), and she walks out looking so clean and gorgeous. She's also not scared when we go in so I feel really good about how they treat her when she's in there. I've been to a few other dog grooming places before and there's a reason why I only bring her to Bathe R Doggie. Highly recommend! (Plus they add different bows to her hair and she looks so adorable!)

Took my pommie-mix for the full service grooming and they did a fantastic job! The process was explained in detail and they gave us an estimated time. Luckily, they finished early and we were able to pick him up early. Great service. Highly recommend!

Called and was able to get a next day appointment. We received a reminder text and arrived at the designated time. Upon arrival we were greeted, info collected, services details reviewed and then the dogs were shown to the rear for their services. Received a text when the dogs were ready, within the designated time. They were ready when we arrived to pick them up. The service was adequate, but didn't have that animal-lover feel/service we have appreciated at other places.

Well, yes if your pup is not fully vaxed. The groomers do a great job, but so many places have better hours and there are so many pooches who need all shots to get groomed. Thus, in a community way, they are there for you and dog, but if the rules are existing as prior, get groomed and select a long term groomer.

Our dog had a medical emergency while we were bathing him (because of a pre-existing condition) and the staff was SO supportive and helpful! We are so thankful for the Bathe R Doggie team who rushed to help us; we will definitely be back!

My rescue dog is very shy and timid, but now enjoys coming for her monthly baths. She responds only to kind, gentle ways so I know she has been treated well here. They are always on time and professional.

This place is the greatest. I have taken my German Shepherd 'Nenabelle' there every other week for the self service baths for about one year now. The price is very reasonable, they allow ample time, the place is clean and the employees are professional. I have tried a few other self service facilities around Pasadena and they have have been very disappointing. Bathe R Doggie is by far the best. We are very thankful we found this place and will continue to be loyal customers.

My apologies for the late review. Been a busy week with all the shopping. Recently moved to Pasadena and have been looking for a groomer for my Bear. Let me tell you, there isn't anywhere else I would take my princess than Bathe R Doggie. The young lady at the counter Angie gave by far the best customer service I have received in the area. The young man Dominic took my princess with great care that she didn't flinch at all.

The groomer Jose did a great job, my dog came back strutting all over the place with her new haircut and grooming done. She looked amazing, smelled wonderful and was relaxed. Thank you very much Bathe R Doggie staff for all your amazing customer service. I hope to bring my Wolfie next as soon as the holidays are over.

We just moved into the area and needed a new place for our dogs! We brought both pets in and were absolutely impressed. I highly recommend this place.

Called ahead, found out there were open stalls for washing my dog. Showed up 10 minutes later, washed and dried my 65 lb dog, great experience. I'll be back. Shampoo, brushes and towels all included in the very reasonable price under $20.00

I want to increase this business Yelp rating. I've taken my dog there twice, and their self service bathing is excellent. I brought my dog today to be groomed and have his nails clipped, and realized I need to bring him more often to be groomed. They did an excellent job, and my dog Charlie is clean and fluffy. Thank you, I'm a repeat customer.

Okay! So I took my pup here after moving to the city! Maria took care of us and I emailed her about some concerns, she was Proactive in addressing them and left my dog nicely groomed. I appreciate the service and how timely she can get it done. Thank you for everything that you do!

This family run business in Pasadena has been a delight to have for my two dogs that have been going here for at least the past eight years. The owners are kind, caring and do their very best to meet the needs of clients and are accommodating for rescheduling or specific breed and age of dog needs. They have a dentistry service that has also been appealing for me and worthwhile for maintaining my dogs health. Thank you for offering the reliable personal attention and care that you do!

Decent place to self wash your dog. A little pricy, $13 and they supply a very generic shampoo, but overall nice place to get a quick wash. Haven't tried their grooming yet.

Ever since Bathe R Doggie was purchased by its new owners we've received some of the best service imaginable. My Fiance and I were the "crazy dog parents" of a Schnauzer Poodle mix who recently passed away. Our main goal for the last year of Benny's life was to make him as comfortable and happy as possible, and the little mutt HATED getting groomed.

After two or three trips he wouldn't even shake as we walked him in. I have no idea how they made Benny comfortable, but they did. In addition to their excellent treatment of Benny, the owners were both very compassionate with us. We bring home two GoldenDoodles in April and I won't consider any other groomer for our new puppies than Bathe R Doggie. Oh, and Bathe R Doggie is cheaper than the average grooming by about $20; which is nice.

New owners = great service! I haven't been here for a long time and walking into the shop was different. It was spacious, clean and bright. I'll be bringing all my dogs to this place.

This place is a good deal if youre on a budget. For a bath and nail clipping it was $23.00. Thats a hell of a deal if I ever saw one. Its very simple inside. Its clean and the people are nice. It low key reminds me of an old hospital in a weird way. I think they're in need of a decor change, and the baths are just a bit too small for someone who had a big dog.

I bet this would be a nice place for small dog owners who want a good deal. Four stars because the price was fair for what you get. Same day appointment and it got the dog cleaned.

Super easy and efficient with the self-service! Also a great price! My senior dog has a hard time getting into the bath tub in my apartment so the ramp was super useful for him. He is deaf in one ear and partially blind so he is super anxious around other dogs so they recommended that I come in the morning on a weekday and there were no other dogs which was great! He smells so good!

My pup and I had a wonderful experience at Bathe R Doggie. The previous groomer we had gone to never left her looking nice with her hair cut. At Bathe R Doggie, my pup was very clean and her hair cut suited her really well. She looked great and continues to look great even after a a few weeks. We were very very happy with the service and we will be coming back.

I didn't have a great experience here. My dog needed his nails trimmed. It had been a minute. I paid near $50 (tip included) for the works. Bathe ears nails and anal glands. The nails they barley shaved. Like hardly none. The ears were untouched. I won't be going back here again.

Yayyyyyy ~ new owner Maria is darling. I have PTSD from the old owner who was mean & cranky! So far so good with Maria up front and good guys in an open-air, open-room back who care about animals. Everything looks clean and feels cheerful. #covid handoffs at the door are pretty seamless

We have been a customer for years and always get exactly what we ask for in grooming our dog Annabelle (and we have a long list of specific requests!). We appreciate that there was no service interruption in the transition of owners and we are just as happy today with the grooming service as the past 3-4 years as we are today. The new owners are kind and friendly and obviously want to continue to build the business within the community.

If you are nearby, ignore the negative reviews and give them a shot; we have only had good experiences. It is important to support small business - the framework of the American Dream :)

These guys were great and did a wonderful job washing and grooming my Aussiedoodle. Will definitely be back when needed.

My friend told me about this place. The people are the best with customer service, making suggestions, giving my pups a wonderful grooming experience. We got the grooming service. Next time we will bathe them ourselves.

A great place for self washing your dog! From the time you come through the front door doggie gate you have a staff member taking care of you. The self wash area is set up with stalls for each dog and is expertly set up with everything you need including dog ramps up to the sink! You get a quick tour with wash and dry tips and you're off!

Really great! The old woman was behind the counter but I didn't have any interaction with her. The man there was awesome and gave me great instructions and tips to make the bath easier for my dog. They expressed his anal glands, cleaned his ears and clipped his nails for an extra $14. Great service, very clean place and I will definitely go back again.

I know there are quite a few groomers out there and I've taken my various dogs to many of them. Bathe R Doggie is exactly what I expected. It was clean, the groomers and owner at the counter are considerate and friendly and best of all my dog, a schnauzer mix, always comes to me happy and perfectly groomed. I've read some of the negative comments and I think either the dog owners were having a bad day and decided to take it out on the people who work there and only write negative comments, never good comments.

I work in a public are where people are allowed to bring their pets and Bathe R Doggie has always been on the top of the list of where they get their pets groomed, both dogs and cats. Don't be afraid about taking your pet here, there is no bad news and your pet will thank you.
