Concept dog training takes the dog and trainer a step beyond normal dog training. Rather than a simple relation between a cue, a behavior, and a consequence (such as going around a certain sign on a certain street corner), the dog learns a broader rule or set of rules that can be applied to new situations. This is an amazing new form of dog training. The very first time my puppy met Joyce I knew that I had made the right choice in trainers. In our group dog training classes you and your dog will learn the principles of training in a controlled environment, where your dog learns to focus on you in the company of other dogs, and you learn how to manage and train your dog with varying levels of distraction. All dog training classes are positive reinforcement methods, no harsh methods used.

Joyce was an awesome trainer for our dogs Reese's and Rollie. Our two Yorke-Poo's loved training with her and enjoyed seeing her come over to train them. They were excited to learn new tricks and get rewarded for doing them. We liked her relaxing way and no pressure of putting too much stress on the dog(s) all at once. Joyce was a wonderful with our two Yorkie Poos. We enjoyed her classes, and learned a lot. Our biggest problem with our Yorkie Poo is that she would get out of the house or yard and start running around our neighborhood. With Joyce's training we now have some techniques to used to get her to come back if she starts running away. I would recommend her to any new pet owner. Thank you Joyce for everything! Husband and I signed a contract for 4 in-home training sessions and had to prepay the full amount. Joyce is a lovely lady, who loves to share her personal issues and accomplishments instead of concentrating on the activities of training us to train our dogs, instead, she provides you with website links to read on how to train your dog. Her one hour sessions included her sharing personal chatter in excess of 20+ minutes.
We found little value in her professional training sessions. (after seeing your response). Until I raised my voice, you would not stop talking about yourself and your personal issues. I was trying to get you focused on what we were paying you for and not hearing about your personal chit chat. More focus on the dogs and training their owners rather than your personal issues would be better value for the $$$.
