Established few years ago in Tampa, Florida on one simple principle - we love your dog as much as you do -and recognizing the need for dogs to have a very-interactive, safe environment for them to get their game on, Rompin' Rovers has built a new standard for doggie daycare, training and overnight boarding services.

We are very happy with the training Wilson and Bee Gee (and we) received from Armando. He came to our home and spent quality time getting to know our dogs first. His approach was tailored to each dog's personality. Both dogs took to him and learned the commands quickly. Bruce and I learned better ways to communicate our expectations to the dogs. We are very thankful for Armando and what we have learned from him. We continue to practice and see improvements each day such as both dogs learning to place, sit, down, not pull leash when walking.

You can tell Armando is very passionate about his work with animals, and he really does have their best interests at heart. The down side for us was the cost, almost $1800.00 for the first puppy and only a $200.00 discount for the second. I have 2 Pitt mix puppies and the cost was astronomical! If you have multiple dogs, there are many more cost effective options out there, with just as high a rating, and they too will come to your home. Good luck in your behavior training journey!

The goal is any good dog boarding company is that they treat your dogs like your own. We briefly rented a home in Clearwater for a month, and made use of Romin' Rovers twice. Great service, great pricing, and highly responsive. Thanks again!

When I left my pup there she was covered in her own urine. Absolutely disgusting and inhumane.

Such lovely people! They took my rescue in for a week whilst I was away, I had adopted her while in a different state and a kind lady took her there for me to be taken care of til I was home. They were wonderful! Always kept me up to date about her and we're so understanding of the situation. Would highly recommend them to anyone.

I want to be fair about this review. We do take some responsibility for the mildly successful experience we have had. We probably started a bit early and should have waited a few months. Having said that, we did everything we were trained to do and progress was being made. Then it seems all of a sudden it was decided that our girl was trained and although we reached out, we did not receive any follow up.

Keep in mind one of the main reasons we decided to use Rompin Rovers was that we were told they were results driven, that they would be with us until we were satisfied that we had a properly trained dog. Again, to be fair, we made some real progress and I feel that with a few more sessions we could have gotten to the point we needed to. It was possibly the Holidays, Covid may have set us off track but we never had a chance to get those final "clean up" sessions that would have finished the job and allowed us to ride into the sunset and keep working with our dog towards positive training.

Make no mistake, they are good at what they do. I can't say we are dissatisfied with what we got out of the 6 sessions we had but we paid in full and up front for 12 sessions or a trained puppy and we do feel we never quite got there. I would suggest Rompin Rovers but I wouldn't pay up front, I would sign up for payment at each session. We feel a bit taken advantage of but live and learn. Good experience for the times they came. Just needed to finish the job.

I had heard of Rompin from a friend and decided to take my Aussie here for daycare being that it seemed like the best option near my home at the time. After taking her a few times, it struck me as odd that she always came home just as energized as when I dropped her off and whenever I asked how she did, I would just get a "she did good." I continued to take her here and there and also enrolled her in the 3 month hands on training program.

The training was helpful to an extent but not worth $900 for an hour/once a week/3 months.and that's just for "basics" training. Each tier after that is an additional $900. After the training was over, I purchased a 10-day daycare pass to split between my mom's dog and my dog over $200. We each used a couple days of the pass and after that, were told we did not have any left by the associate on staff. Told us she'd have the manager, Chris, reach out - he never did.

Not to mention, she couldn't even confirm which days our dogs had visited because they don't keep track.really? Seems like an accident waiting to happen, honestly. I stopped taking her there for reasons listed above and because I moved to St. Pete. I started doing more research and found Happy Camper and my God it is leaps and bounds better than Rompin.and daycare is cheaper. Dogs come home exhausted and with a report card. If HC is convenient to you, spend your money there instead. Your dog will thank you :

Armando really takes his training seriously and genuinely love dogs! He attends world class training programs to master training techniques using dog psychology not brute force : He especially lives the challenges of rescue dogs and pups The staff is caring and attentive and really seem to enjoy the animals and learning from Armando. My only complaint is the urine smell, some days worse than others, so my baby usually needs a bath before he can come in house. But I imagine that urine is hard to keep up with.

Rompin Rovers helped us train our rescue Canaan Mia (M. I. A.) who was brought from Afghanistan to the US by troops. She was a stray that they fed and played with while on deployment. She went from a "pee and poop" anywhere and everywhere and run away and pull me down when I tried to walk her to an obedient, well mannered dog. We are still working on assimilation with other dogs.

She stayed at the facility when we were starting a major remodel for about 10 days and was happy and healthy upon pick up. Armando and his team are truly compassionate and caring and want the best for your pet!

We had very high hopes of Sampson being an Emotional Support Animal for PTSD. After trying to walk him and having him pretty much drag me down the sidewalk I knew I needed some intense professional help. After an evaluation, Sampson entered the doggy daycare and training program. The owner Armando Acosta assured me that he was very trainable. We noticed changes as soon as the 2nd day! Armando made sure that when I picked Sampson up he not only told me what they worked on but also showed me so that I could work with him at home.

The whole Rompin Rovers team was wonderful to work with. They all took a part in training Sampson. He would get excited every time I dropped him off. Not only can I walk my dog but he knows all of his basic commands. Thank you so much Armando and the Rompin Rovers Team. The whole experience has been life changing and I think the pic proves it.

My wife and I both love the guys at Rompin Rovers & the doggie daycare they provide. We have been taking our dog there for about 6 weeks & have seen huge behavioral gains. He is much better around other dogs and after playing with the other dogs all day (and burning off that puppy energy) he is a lot more fun to play with and walk. The best part is our dog Archie, he loves going there! He cant wait to get out of the car when we pull up. Highly recommend!
