I walked in the center to grab some information on puppy training and was rudely talked too asked me what I wanted, I didn't know but they were in a middle of a class and my wife and kids walking in behind me and were rudely welcomed as well. This place is unfriendly to families and got a bad vibe of the people there. Don't recommend this place for your pets.

All the volunteer trainers have proven to be a blessing in our life. My hubby and myself have a 9 month old German shepherd who we have been able to train and correct poor behavior patterns with due to the puppy class and beginner obedience. The trainers are involved and help you feel at ease and in control. We are excited to continue on with training here and have even referred friends to the club!

They are very unprofessional in regards to their communication. I signed up to a puppy class beginning June 19 and bought the ticket May 16. Sent in my vet receipts within 24 hours as per requested, along with a note at the end saying if there is anything else needed to let me know. Supposedly I was to receive a confirmation within a few days to confirm my puppy is officially enrolled. Nothing.
On May 29, almost 2 weeks later, a Margaret emails me: "I do not see a Bordetella vaccine. At 12 weeks, I believe your vet will administer. Please advise." I replied within a few hours, "Our vet did not recommend giving Niko the Bordatella vaccination unless we were planning on boarding her. We are scheduled to see our vet in the upcoming weeks, and I can inquire about the Bordatella vaccination if it is needed." June 14, at least 2 weeks later, they respond at 10:05pm cst, "As like a kennel we require the Bordetella vaccine.
Please get this and send the records to us prior to class on Monday. [June 19]" This is very unprofessional, and I was quite prompt on my part. I've gone to the vet to get my puppy's shots a week before they emailed, and because they failed to do their part and communicate, I assumed the vaccination was unnecessary. Now they want me to get a vaccination pretty last minute, and I have yet to hear back from my email asking to be dropped from their class due to outside reasons.
This is not good on their part and it's very unprofessional. Edit: they texted me 6/16 saying they "emailed me on 6/14 about the Bordetella vaccine" and would not allow my dog on property til I get it. If I don't, they will refund me. I accepted the refund. I understand they are a non profit, but considering how many classes they offer, they should have someone monitoring their email pretty often. Even more so during the period where the last classes are finishing up and people are signing up for upcoming classes.
