Uncle Keith's Doggie Daycare

Buckle up for this review! I'm from the Cleveland area and spent a full weekend in Columbus for my daughter's wedding. I called several doggie daycares/kennels in the German Village area. (We stayed at an Airbnb that allowed pets, but I really wanted to be attentive to my daughter on her big day.) Several kennels would not give me the time of day.figuring I was a "one-time customer". Hayder and Matt from Uncle Keith's Doggie Daycare treated me with importance and value from my very first phone call!

Keep in mind that this was the first time I left my pup at a doggie day care. I was really nervous about it, so these fine gentlemen spent extra time talking with me, giving me a tour of their facility, reassuring me that I could call to check on Bentley whenever I needed to, etc. They wanted to be sure I felt comfortable leaving my Bentley BEFORE I checked him in. Bentley couldn't have been happier with his special "pup sleep-over"!

We love this place and so does our puppy. We know if we need someone to watch him we can trust this place. The staff is great, always greets you with a smile, good vibes and you can see they are genuine. My puppy comes to the place glowing and when we pick him you can see he had a good time. The facility is nice and clean with a good outdoor space in the back. I have brought my dog here for boarding and daycare, both have been a success. I love this place, and so does our puppy. I researched a lot of doggie daycare services and we interviewed at one other place besides Uncle Keith's, I love it because their building is in a non busy area and at the end of a dead end road. During our interview we really felt that the owner loved what he does and he really cares about the dogs and our boy loves him.

We've used their doggie daycare two times so far and each time our puppy comes home tired and happy, and he always loves going back so that is always the most important part. I really appreciate that he tells us what he took our puppy to do and how well he did, and is always looking forward the next day with our puppy. If you want somewhere with people that care about dogs and where your pets will be safe I think Uncle Keith's is an amazing option and business.

Everything about Uncle Keith's is awesome! Our dog Truman knows what "Want to go to Uncle Keith's?" means when we say it. We know how happy he is when he pulls into the parking lot, how he flys into Uncle Keith's door with no leash needed, how tired he is at the end of the day due to physical activity, and how much more socialized he has become as a result. The owners and operators are true animal lovers so we feel safe because we know Truman is safe.

Had to explore a different daycare option for our highly energetic puppy (7-mos old at the time). Having another daycare experience highlighted how much care and attention Uncle Keith's has that our prior option lacked. First and foremost, the enthusiasm and compassion that the owner has for the dogs exudes throughout the place. It's also run with a mentality that any potential problems (inevitable with a dynamic pack of dogs) get worked out and behaviors are addressed.

There's also a concerted on-boarding effort, which at first seemed cumbersome. Having gone through it, it's seems entirely appropriate to ensure proper pack introduction for new dogs. Can't speak highly enough for the operation that Hayder and his team run. Our dog loves going there multiple times a week.

After driving past this place repeatedly I finally called to make an appointment, Sasha my shy rescue dog lab boxer mix still a puppy but at the time never saw or was with other dogs actually. just seen other dogs at the park. Frankly was a scared of her own shadow likes to play with cats I have 2. Anyway due to the fact I'm back in the job market.

There was NO way of leaving her caged! She is a needy dog an loves attention 24/7 this was quite exhausting an I realized she needed to play with her own kind. Well since we have signed her up. She is a totally different dog. exhausted from play all day she comes home eats tells me about her day then passes out on her bed, my bed, the chair wherever but she loves it!

She wakes us up at 630am to tell us it's time to eat and pee and go to daycare! The price is good no complaints an well worth it! My dog is happy and cared for and the do send you video during your child's stay if you curious If you dog is specific on snacks they will work with you. big thanks to Hayder Khalil an all of the crew I give you all 5 stars! The staff here are above and beyond amazing. They truly care about each dog and making sure that they have a positive experience. Puppies under 6 months stay up front in the office area so they can be socialized and supervised, and once they pups are spayed/neutered and 6 months or older they generally go into the back with the adult dogs. My pup can be a little shy around big dogs, so even though she's 6 months the staff let her stay up front a tiny bit longer and slowly introduced her to the other big dogs in the back with an increasing amount of time each visit.

Because of this she's had an absolute blast with each visit and now LOVES going back to play with the big dogs. This kind of care, attention, and dedication to each dog is just wonderful. I cannot recommend this place highly enough.

This unassuming storefront on Front St does not simply offer daycare and boarding services for dogs, at reasonable prices, with charm and genuine love and care for every pet that come through the door. That wouldn't be enough for me to rate them 5 stars. My dear friends, this diamond of a business sells something more precious than gold to the average dog owner: pure, unequivocal, nigh-on guaranteed PUPPY EXHAUSTION.

My pup, an 8-month-old mix of everything that loves to run, chew, and bark, a pup who can run around the woods for 3 hours straight and come home for a rousing night of cat chasing and squeaker toy mutilation, will come home from a day of fun and play at Uncle Keith's and then PUT HERSELF TO BED! I cannot recommend Uncle Keith's highly enough. They are, without a doubt, the best service I have ever had the pleasure of paying 22 dollars to. Bring your dog, pack them a lunch, and drop them off with the expectation that when you get home, you will be wondering why everything is so quiet.

We got our dog from a shelter less than a year ago and I was really nervous about boarding her over night -I had never had to board a dog before. I was afraid she would think we were taking her back to a shelter (silly I know). Our dog has separation anxiety and loves to follow her people around wherever they go. She is also a cuddler and doesn't like to sit or sleep alone.

She loved Uncle Keith the first moment she met him and though she looked nervous when he whisked her away to the holding pens, she was certainly recovered by the time we picked her up. She looked happy to see us but she certainly didn't look like she missed us :) She played with the other dogs to her hearts content and was in a great mental state when we picked her up.

As a first time user of doggy-day-care or boarding services I would say that Uncle Keith runs a fantastic operation. I was really appreciative that he checks vaccination records and does a pre drop-off interview with the dog and the client. I was really happy with the result and would definitely use this service again. I highly recommend!
