Brandon's grooming experience goes far beyond that of an average groomer. Brandon grew up in a farm town in Pennsylvania and he has raised and groomed over 20 of his own dogs during his youth. Brandon has always strived on the stress free environment of his pets. And when he began professionally over two years ago, he carried that psychology with him.

Started using the dog father in November. Get my 75lb GSD groomed monthly. My dog is 10 years old, highly trained and very easy to groom. You can shoot a gun over his head and he won't move. Had a woman groomer come out first, service was as expected. Then Paul came out regularly, really happy with him, his service and how he handled my dog was good.
We even added grooming our new GSD puppy. We were paying $100 for my 10 year old Gsd, 90 for my puppy. Paying a $5 gas fee per dog, plus tipping 20-30 per dog. I was ok with that even though it's expensive it saves my older dog from making a trip to a traditional groomer. Yesterday a new girl came out to my house. Not knowing my wife is outside the groomer is on the phone loudly complaining (while grooming my dog) about my dog and his shedding coat.
Apparently she has never seen an under coat come out of a dog when the weather gets warm. Whatever not a big deal. Until it comes time to get paid and she charges my wife $135 + tip for the same service. My wife asked why the price was different but the groomer said she couldn't change it, to call her boss. Ok. Her boss says that prices went up back in January.
Basically tells my wife we have been undercharged this whole time. Tried to justify it by saying they charge me different rates 90-100 (yeah because 90 is for the puppy, 100 for the older dog) and now all of a sudden with no notice the $100 per dog was only a starting rate. I think what really happened was your groomer called you and complained about a shedding GSD and you decided to upcharge me without notification.
When asked to fix the pricing you declined. That's not how you do business- we will no longer be using your services since there are other options out there that charge appropriate amounts without pulling shady price increases. I'm all for small business prospering, what I can't support is this kind of practice of overcharging people. Good luck with that.

Absolutely best grooming experience! The quality of service is superior to any other in every aspect. We have 2 rescues (German Shepherd and Jack Russell- both easily get nervous) it's no longer stressful to have them groomed. We can't thank you enough! My only disappointment is in myself for not discovering Dogfather sooner!

Booking anything anywhere is the worst part, not with Dogfather. Submitted an online request and was booked in less than an hour! Kim arrived super promptly for our mobile visit. I was beyond nervous about my 7month olds first true grooming - being that apprehensive is his middle name. Kim did a fantastic job, he looks handsome as anything, and does not seem the least bit stressed over it.
Payment was incredibly simple right through Venmo and Kim was able to book out next appointment on the spot. Overall, very pleased with the communication leading up to as well as the grooming itself.

They were wonderful with my Belle! They understood my special needs, Belle is extremely sensitive, has separation anxiety, and is scared of the groomers. They treated her super nice, they called me to help them get her more comfortable, and after 25 minutes she was all set! Its been a month and she still smells good.

I brought my two dogs and cat here for grooming. I was very happy with the grooming of my dogs but disappointed with my appointment with my cat. I had booked it months before to ensure my long hair cat would groomed for the summer months. I had to confirm the appointment twice by text. I show up with the cat at the appointed time and it was as if I didn't have an appointment.turns out the groomer in the Stratford salon was no longer there.according to them she left months ago.and no one ever contacted me.
As I stood there with my screaming cat.he hates the kennel.they told me that they could not accommodate me and the mobile groomer was booked out to July. That was told to me by the owner who was standing behind me. No solution provided.no attempt to fix their error. I left and while in their parking lot, I booked an appointment for my cat at another groomer.
I love the groomer who takes care of my dogs but I refuse to pay for such horrible customer service. I have spoken to my friends about my experience and I am moving my dogs to another groomer. This could have been avoided if they treated me as valued customer instead of a bother.

Josephine groomed 3 of my dogs 2 of them had matted fur because of the Coved virus. My dogs are older and do not like to be groomed. They went 1 at a time when my son was bringing them back in the house they came running to find me they were so happy. Josephine did exactly what I asked her to do. I was so pleased with Josephine and the experience we all had. Happy babies. Thanks Matt for fitting them into the schedule
