Guy is efficient and effective. In one visit, he helped us solve our biggest issues with our recently rescued 1 year old stray. At 50lbs, he was always pulling on the leash and thought every squirrel and bird was fair game. Guy helped with a tools and techniques to make our walks a pleasure rather than a tug of war. He showed us how to help calm our good boy by providing a calm presence to show him the way. We highly recommend Guy the K9Guy!

My husband and I were in need of help with our dog and i couldn't walk him without being pulled down the street. we left our session got home and took him outside and for the first time our dog listened. he gave tons of info and we'll worth the time. hopefully he will be able to teach us to have our dog walk without a leash next highly recommend.

Guy was great. He was extremely thorough, efficient, and professional during our visit. He asked what WE wanted to work on and took the time to listen to our goals for our pup. He offered his methods of training and explained why they were done i.e. the psychology behind them. He has made himself available to us by email and phone after the visit and answered any lingering questions we had.

Appreciate the option to do one visit at a time so we can just commit to what our pup needs. She is doing much better now and we are excited to continue making progress. Will likely be making a second appointment - haven't needed to yet because we got so much out of our first visit, including papers and videos to take home with us and plenty to work on for now. The K9 Guy was recommended to us by a friend who had recently hired Guy for her new puppy. After hearing her positive review, I immediately called and schedule an appointment for our 2yr old dogs. We have two dogs who are very well-behaved but just needed help turning their listening ears on when given specific commands. The K9 Guy really helped us, as owners, learn how to effectively communicate our commands.

Thanks to the K9 Guy, our dogs are quickly improving. In just one in-person session and a few weeks of consistent reinforcing, our dogs can sit, stay, come, and walk without pulling. In addition to the positive results we experienced, Guy is efficient, professional and responsive in his business methods. I highly recommend the K9 Guy!

Guy is great at diagnose the dynamics between our two pups and right to the point! Very knowledgeable and professional, it's amazing to see the behavior change our pups had just within that first two hours. The most important thing is now I have a peace mind knowing that we have a solid, effective and measurable plan to work with our pups towards a better constructed pack/family. Guy is one of a kind. He is hugely skilled and informative and put us right in the driver's seat. He taught us how to train our dogs so that they respect us and know how to behave in our home. we have tried many dog trainers in the past but never ever have met one nearly as skilled as Guy. If you want real results, and results that stick, call him.

We loved our first visit with The K9 Guy. He had lots of great suggestions, an impressive demeanor and energy around our dog, and definitely came off as non-judgmental. Cupid has already shown improvements in less than 24 hours and I am so excited that we are on the path to being able to walk our dog without him pulling and getting over excited/ignoring us when he would encounter another dog.

After explaining my problem dog, he asked me where I live and despite the description on this page "Serves Columbus and surrounding areas" he informed me he doesn't come to North Columbus.

The K9 Guy was such a great help for my dog Jax and I! I was very uncomfortable taking Jax on walks because of his excitement and whining and pulling when seeing other dogs. The K9 guy gave me all the tips and advice I needed to finally feel in control with him. Guy was great with basic commands also and gave handouts and homework that I will use forever. I would highly recommend Guy for any problems you may be having with your dog.

We called Guy because our two male Border Terriers, two and six years of age, were starting to fight more and more frequently. We had come to the tearful conclusion that one of them would need re-homed for their safety. A friend recommended Guy, and he came to the rescue. He helped us understand what was happening and gave us the tools to help us help our dogs.

It has only been a few days, but already we have seen a huge change in the dogs. We have a long road ahead, but our boys are doing great, and I feel better able to help them. Guy's training has made all the difference. It has been worth every single penny.

I called Guy after he was recommended to me from a friend. I was slightly hesitant at first since my 6 month old puppy had already gone though some puppy training, I didnt want the same run of the mill training. I was so glad I called and set up an appointment. After one session my puppy is doing better then I ever expected. He is listening without hesitation, walking on a leash without pulling and we are building a stronger bond then we had before. I am so pleased with the work and training tools I was given. If anyone is looking for a dog trainer I highly recommend Guy.

GREAT, GREAT, GREAT! We just had our first in-home visit with The K9 Guy.it was exceptional customer service, hands on training with our two dogs, extremely reasonable price and excellent advice. He was patient with our dogs and even more patient with our questions. The appointment was scheduled for 12:30 and he was appropriately a little early but not too early.

This man obviously is here to help. He is not trying to "peddle" additional services or products.it was clear that he was trying to help us as much as possible on our initial visit. It was only $115 for the 1 hour & 45 minute session. Additional sessions, if needed, are only $105. He was so thorough on this initial visit that I don't know if we'll even require a 2nd session.

He promised to follow up in 2 weeks to see how things are going. The excellent customer service just doesn't stop. The K9 Guy accepts cash, check or credit card as payment. He has weekend appointments, too. Great for the working dog Mom or Dad. I thought superb customer service at a reasonable price was dead. The K9 Guy proves me wrong. I highly recommend him for your pet problems big or small.

Guy was tremendous in helping us curb our fearful dogs aggressive behaviors. Prior to guy we had worked with a couple other trainers and neither of them seemed to get to the root of the problem. With Guy we saw immediate results after just one session, and after 2 more weeks of homeworks the majority of the issues had been resolved. Guy was well worth the investment and we're forever grateful for his help.

I can't say enough good things about Guy & his help with our puppy Cutch. From the moment he walked in the door it's as though Cutch sensed a change in how things were going to be from now on. He has made huge strides in such a short time and we owe all of it to Guy's help! Gone are so many of the frustrations that come with a new puppy full of energy who decides when he's going to listen or not. Cutch is leaps and bounds from where he was just a few weeks ago. We will not hesitate to contact Guy with any of our future training needs!

After our first appointment, there was a night and day difference in our 8 month old puppy -- and how we approached training him. We just finished up our third session a couple of weeks ago, and we can now go out and take our dog on a walk off leash no problem! It's as much training for the dog as it is you, the owner. Can't recommend him enough!

I have so many wonderful things to say about Guy that I don't know where to start. My husband and I were looking for a trainer that would come to our house to help us with our 1 year old dachshund having some aggression problems. I contacted some other trainers in the area as well to compare prices, but Guy's prices were the most reasonable. After just one ~3 hr session, our pup has made such huge strides that another session may not even be necessary. Guy was efficient, extremely professional, understanding, and so very helpful. We would recommend him to anybody needing a trainer for their dog.

We adopted a 4 month old puppy from the local shelter and interviewed 3 trainers and ended up choosing Guy. am I ever glad! Guy is kind towards our puppy and his step-by-step instruction is amazing and easy to implement. Neighbors comment as we're walking now "you sure did get lucky with such a great puppy!" "How do you get her to walk like that?" and I attribute it to our instruction from Guy (and our follow-through as well!) We can have her in our yard without her leash and she'll listen even when in mid-run after a bird. our family pinches ourselves daily about what a great dog we have. I couldn't recommend The K9 Guy more!

Guy helped us get our German Shepherd puppy trained on the leash. He was constantly pulling and after one session with Guy, we were armed with the right tools and information to stop this habit. Since the first visit our problems with the leash are now almost completely resolved. We had Guy for a second session for some more advanced commands with the same dog and again, we were very pleased with his training.

The great part about Guy is that he gives you all the information you need to be successful and then it is up to the owner to continue to work with the dog to get the intended results. I would highly recommend!

Great experience. We rescued a small terrier who had never had the beneficiary of training. Guy helped us understand the importance of teaching our dog to pay attention. I had never thought of training in those terms, and recognizing that our training efforts were really all about helping our dog focus on our expectations, and to be less distracted.

Prior to working with Guy, as much as our dog loves a walk, we were almost unable to do so without being dragged down the street. Now walks are a pleasant experience. So both us and our dog get to do something we like.

Puppy consultation was very helpful. We haven't had a puppy around for a very long time and needed a "refresher" course. Professional, knowledgeable and easy to work with. Looking forward to using The K9 Guy to help guide us through obedience training when our puppy is old enough!
