I may not be a puppy anymore, but I still have pep in my step and can be energetic and strong while walking on a leash. I could be nervous and unsure of new places so dog savvy owners with a yard for me to unwind and roam in would be best. I could go home with kids 11+, but would thrive if I was the only pet in the home. Our 2022 Spring Newsletter is hot off the press!

I just wanted to give an appreciation post to the MCSPCA for letting me adopt my baby Sadie. Previously she was named Glenda. I adopted her a little over 4 years ago at age 7. She is the most loving, loyal dog I have ever had. Living our best lives together. Thank you for all you do for animals! A great experience I had at the SPCA!
Please take a few moments to describe your ideal companion so we can help you find your new best friend! Please list the animal members of your household. Include the type of animal (cats, dogs, etc.) If you have cats, what are their genders and ages? Are they spayed/neutered? And are they up-to-date on annual wellness visits and vaccines?
This Fur Ball Gala will be honoring and celebrating the life, and community. We will be showcasing our amazing Pitties to help them find forever homes. Come see our wonderful pups and fall in love with these little love bugs. We're bringing our Dog Walk back HOME and now it's a PET PALOOZA, a celebration and walk for all animals!

We recently adopted our Doug from Monmouth County SPCA. Now, Doug is a sweetie all on his own. However -- the care he received as the shelter's longest resident no doubt contributed to his perfect transition to his new home. (We are veteran adult and senior dog adopters.) The thorough training and care by both the staff and volunteers was impressive. They are wonderful and we couldn't be happier with our happy life with DOUG!

The staff at this shelter were incredibly friendly, pleasurable, knowledgeable, and helpful. The adoption process went as smooth as I could've hoped and they went out of their way to make sure I got the puppy I wanted. Thank so much to Stephanie, Louise, Stacy, Adam, and Viki, and everyone else there.

I adopted my cat from here. They truly give unparalleled medical and emotional support to these animals. They do the best they can and the facility is beautiful. They really go above and beyond with medical and temperament testing on their animals. They truly care. I filled out an application online and went in person to see if I could find "the one" they gave me all the time I needed and my little girl had to stay an extra week for an eye surgery. Brian kept me constantly up to date on how she was doing and when she could come home. Highly recommend adopting from here!

I adopted my cat here 3 years ago and always bring him back to their Vogel vet service for his yearly exams and his shots. Every single person that has helped me with anything here has been very pleasant and eager to help. They all seem to genuinely want to care for your pet just like their own and are always on point with their advice and suggestions.
They always call the next day after an appointment to check on your pet and offer numerous ways they can help. I will always bring my cat here and plan on adopting from here in the future.

The staff are amazing at the Monmouth county spca. Lorrie worked so hard to continue to inform me of potential furry family members; the trainers and other staff (helping with interviews and vetting the dogs) were amazing as they helped me find with Herbie! I am so glad we have Herbie as part of the family and I can only urge you, if your looking for a furry family member, to go there for that special dog! Catherine

Stephanie and staff were great! Came in with my whole family at 4:30 after seeing this precious boy. (And losing our dog in April) Someone said it may be late in the day to finish adoption that day but Stephanie saw how eager my family was to adopt and put us in a room to meet "Mick." After fall instantly in love, she said she would get the paperwork ready immediately and off we went with our new addition!
