Services
The Feline Medical Center is a well-established, full-service feline only veterinary hospital providing comprehensive medical, surgical and dental care. We provide a broad spectrum of diagnostic and general practices through our in-house testing and the use of external laboratories. We also work closely with local referral and specialty practices when further diagnostics and/or treatments are required.
None of us are very fond of leaving our feline companions for any length of time, but when there is no other choice many choose to board their kitties at the Feline Medical Center. Our quiet, peaceful boarding room is separated from the hustle and bustle of our hospital by french style doors, allowing us to let each cat out individually for daily exercise and playtime.
Behavioral Counseling: We can provide advice regarding the correction of problems such as chewing, spraying, scratching, aggression and house-soiling. Diagnostic and Therapeutic Services: Our hospital is equipped to provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to care for your pets' complete health care needs.
Here are some questions/answers that we are frequently asked. If you have additional questions that aren't covered here, please feel free to give us a call at (732)212-1100. 1. What are the hospital hours? Spaying or neutering can be done at approximately 5 months of age. Your pet is given an exam prior to surgery to help determine whether your pet is healthy enough to undergo the surgical procedure.

Dr Campbell's Feline Medical Center is a terrific place to take your cat! She is a great vet, sensitive and caring! My kitty developed mouth and tooth problems and Dr Campbell had to extract many teeth. Since then Gipsy gained back weight and he can eat again! They only do cats, so they specialize in feline issues! I would never take my "boys" to anyone else!

My older long haired cat needed grooming and he wouldn't co-operate with a wonderful groomer. I even bought a pet grooming kit to try to groom him and that didn't work. My vet told me he didn't groom so my daughter talked to her vet, Lindsay Campbell. Dr. Campbell advised my daughter they could groom him and if he didn't co-operate they would need to sedate him to be groomed which they ended up doing.

He now has a lion cut and really looks cute. My daughter took him for the appointment and praised all of the staff for their care and compassion. I also e-mailed Dr. Campbell's office to thank them and received a quick and lovely reply. I appreciate Dr. Campbell's help with my problem and my daughter for asking her.

I took my senior cats, Sumi & Raven, in for what I thought was a precautionary pre-vacation check-up. Dr. Campbell noticed Sumi had some respiratory problems, took an X-Ray and had me take him immediately to Garden State Veterinary hospital - she said to not even stop to pay the bill. Though he showed no symptoms to me, he was in Congestive Heart Failure.

He stayed overnight, I was in pieces, but I am so thrilled to say that he is responding very well to treatments, has a great appetite and is grooming himself and using his litter box regularly. And demanding lots of extra treats. Note: he was in for a check-up 5 months ago and seemed fine (he lost over a pound since then). Dr. Campbell called to see how he was doing.

She really cares a lot about cats - it's not just a business to her. Do take your senior cats in as often as you can! This is the second time Dr. Campbell has saved his life with her astute observation and knowledge of cats. THANK YOU DR. CAMPBELL! Update: It's been 3 years since my review and Sumi is still hanging in and getting spoiled. Dr. Campbell has been wonderful and provides lots of advice to help Sumi maintain the best quality of life possible. We never thought he'd make it this far and I'm grateful to have Dr. Campbell as his vet!

This has to be the BEST cat hospital in the State. We live in Toms River and my cat was having tooth pain. We took him to the vet and she said the cat would need teeth pulled. The dentist in the Toms River area was booked through September! There was no way we could wait that long so I remembered the vet from when we lived in Matawan. I called them and they could take him immediately.

Thank God, Dr. Campbell was amazing! The cat was very behaved for her and she was wonderful. She had to pull 14 teeth! She said he would be able to still eat without them as long as we give him Pate. In fact he ate when we got home! They are located in Lincroft and it's worth it to keep their number handy. God bless Dr. Campbell! She took very good care of my fur baby!

I adopted my Rosalie 10 years ago from Feline Medical Center and I've been so much happier with her in my life. All the doctors and staff are really nice. My only gripe is that I couldn't handle Rosalie when she received her check ups. I guess since she's an only cat and very spoiled she's also got a little feisty. Other than everyone was always nice and professional. The facility is clean anf the pets are very well taken care of. Thank You, Feline Medical Ctr.

Dr. Campbell is absolutely wonderful! My cat typically has severe anxiety at the vet to the point of panting and usually needs to be wrapped in a towel for the doctor to do anything. Here, he jumps off the exam table to explore and is so relaxed compared to our previous experiences. No panting. No towel needed. We love it here! So happy I found them!

I love that The Feline Medical Center is just for cats! I used to bring my cats to other facilities. Since they were already not feeling well and stressed by the car ride, the added stress put on the cats by barking dogs was difficult to handle. The vet and staff are kind and caring! The office is small and cozy. Dr. Campbell has gotten to know my cats, as well as me.

The absolute best care we have received for our kitty. We have been to several other vets in the area and we were so disappointed and frustrated with the service and care we we got. This place was so refreshing! To start, because the office is only cats it's a lot calmer making the atmosphere for our kitty and us so much better. (Also decorated very cute and homey) 2nd, there is only one doctor so you always get the same one and will always be on the same page.

The doctor has 4 of her own cats and is great with them both in a professional, knowledgeable way and a loving way. The office staff is also friendly and helpful. Lastly the prices are so great! So reasonable and definitely the cheapest I've ever paid. Truthfully, the service and care is worth so much more. Really great place! I've never had to board an animal but I noticed that most of their boarding rooms have the kitties in the windows not locked in a dark box. Definitely take your furbaby here!

The Feline Medical Center is the only place to take your cats. Dr. Campbell is the most caring Vet and she knows everything about cats. Her staff is just the best. I would not have my cat Florence if it were not for the care that Dr. Campbell and her staff administered to her. If you love your cats and you want them to be properly cared for in a friendly and caring environment, please try Dr. Campbell.

I have been taking my 3 cats there now for over 3 years and I would not think of going anywhere else. She also does house calls and provides boarding services. Just a wonderful place for your feline buddies!
