Wet Pets

I would never recommend this place to anyone. A lot of people I know in the hobby recommended this place to me, said it was worth the ride. Well the displays are worth the ride, the tanks are awesome and well kept. That's all. Went with my wife on a weekend, there was only one other couple in the store. There was 3 kids working, none of them showed any interest in conversation with me.

I picked out a yellow tang, and had one of the kids try to get it for me. After about 10 min of trying to catch the fish he dropped his net huffed and said, at this point your going to have to take whatever fish I catch. I'm spending 240 dollars for this fish. I want the one I want. Finally got the tang, and I get up to the counter to pay and the only conversation I get from the other two kids up there is the question of what size tank the tang is going in.

Like I'm gonna spend 240 on a fish to go in a 20 gallon tank. Get real, this is not petco. Idk if they were just having a bad day that day or what, but I will not be going there again, and I will never recommend this place to anyone in the hobby. There's other fish stores that have just as great looking stuff and great customer service.

I've been coming here for a little while now. Not totally new to salt water but I definitely have a lot to learn still lol. Travis is always SUPER helpful and very knowledgeable. I love coming in and talking with him and he never acts bothered by my hundreds of questions. I would highly recommend this store to anyone wanting to get into salt water or even experienced keepers. All the fish/corals I've gotten here are thriving.

I am new to the salt water aquarium world and this place has gone above and beyond to help get started and teach me a long the way. From a tank and set up to getting my first fish and creating a plan for the tank. Noah, Donny, and James have helped so much. Everyone is very knowledgeable and truly enjoys what they do. I have been to competing stores in the area and they don't even compare to Wet Pets. If you need anything, beginner or expert, this is the place!

Everyone at WetPets is extremely knowledgeable and helpful, plus the coral selection is amazing! Great LFS for both fresh and salt water.

I don't usually take the time to write reviews for many things, but I have to for this. I had the best experience with Wet Pets this weekend. The staff member (college aged, I think. Nate, maybe?) was SO helpful and knowledgable; I mean, down to the exact nutrients and lighting needs of specific species of plants. I was honestly blown away. I returned the next day to pick out some fish and he was patient and helpful with all of my questions, even though it was busy. I will definitely return for all of my future fish needs.

This place is out of this world. They got a big variety of salt water fish, coral and all equipment and also fresh water fish and plant. All life stock and plants looks amazing. Staff are very very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this store.

This place is awesome! I discovered them better part of a year ago while out coral shopping one day and they have always had an amazing variety of corals, all the tanks are always clean and healthy looking and I've always had great success with everything I've purchased from them. I've been finding myself less and less inclined to give other fish stores my business as I've had nothing but great experiences here.

If I had to come up with something negative to say it would be that theyre a bit of a drive from my house and I wish they were closer. I will definitely continue to be a returning customer.

I just started going here recently and I love it so much, they have so many options for smaller tanks and some really sick salt water fish that make me want to start a saltwater tank. The owner was super helpful and knowledgeable, we were also helped out by a really really nice young lady who had the answer to all of my questions. The staff all get along and have fun which i love, they all have a lot of knowledge. Really cute and nice place

Donald (owner) went above and beyond to help me setup my dream S-1000 Red Sea Reefer Aquarium. Donald and the many great staff members are friendly, and professional. They certainly gave me great advice. Wet Pets is very well kept and the live stocks (corals and fish) are vibrant, healthy and thriving. Wet Pets carries a nice range of aquarium supplies at very competitive prices. I highly recommend Wet Pets as they are in it for the long run.

Stopped in at Wet Pets for the first time in a while. I used to prefer the other fish store in the area, but this latest visit has me really rethinking that. (Short version of the detail below = Good customer service and I left with what I wanted.) The selection was surprisingly good considering they mentioned the next batch of fish was coming in on Wednesday (and I was there on a Monday). Granted I don't tend to buy overly expensive or rare fish (my tank is primarily African cichlids), but I found a couple that added nicely to my tank. I'll probably be back again shortly to see if I can pick up one more.

The interaction with the staff went very well. I left feeling satisfied, valued and a little more educated. The whole experience started when I showed up at 7:10PM on a day where they close at 7:30PM. Despite me being one of THOSE customers that walks in too close to closing, I didn't see any odd looks or sighs from the two employees. James was hard at work cleaning/caring for the fish, but didn't mind my making him move to squeeze between the aisles.

He then jumped right up to help when I asked about what they had for pleco's and African cichlids, and took the time to discuss what they had, pricing, personality attributes, fish gender, etc. He was very knowledgeable, which is always preferable when buying living creatures. My knowledge on fish is moderate at best (That's a cichlid. That's a goldfish. That's a pleco.), but he certainly helped me feel comfortable in my purchase.

I probably should have picked his brain a little longer.maybe next time. All in all, it was a very pleasant experience, and I'll surely keep Wet Pets in mind for my next aquarium related purchase. Thanks Wet Pets!

Great place for quality aquarium equipment and quality marine life - nice selection of fresh and salt water fish - all healthy and well maintained. Great selection of live corals. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable.

Donald was so helpful and knowledgeable. We came in as new customers looking for an aquarium. He was very patient with us, and took the time to explain why certain equipment was necessary for the success of the aquarium. Also, he was very honest about what would and would not thrive in our tank, helping us feel secure about the overall wellness of our environment. We will never go anywhere else, Donald and his team are as good as it gets!

Great place, great service, and an incredible selection of coral! My reef is fully stocked with their product. I constantly recommend them to friends! Thanks again!

Just a quick update - more than 3 weeks later and the fish that I bought here are the most beautiful and healthiest fish I have ever owned! What with the impeccable care of their fish, knowledge these guys have, as well as their amazing customer service, this place is a slam dunk and is now my ONLY go-to place for fish!

I saw their Facebook post and decided to comment on it. It got deleted immediately after I wrote my comment stating that they sell reverse osmosis water stored in a garbage can(it's the truth). We've only gotten RO water from them with new water cans and when we brought it to the store to show that their RO water is clearly contaminated with green and black particles floating (more than one occasion), the staff blamed us saying we had dirty water cans.

Our cans have only held their water. We cleaned it before and after each use. They told us to kick rocks but they're the ones selling RO water out of GARBAGE CANS! Look around the store. It's filthy. We went there because it was close to home and for the most part the customer service was good until this incident. I will never return to Wet Pets and I will NEVER recommend anyone to go.

Go elsewhere where it's clean and safe for our sea creatures. You'll end up with a massive algae infestation like I've got because of their dirty RO water. Buy online or just go somewhere else. This place is disgusting and overpriced. I hope they can't delete my Yelp review like my Facebook post. They e also blocked me on Facebook because the truth hurts. I will post a picture of my comment.

Skip the chain stores and visit this small business for aquarium supplies and fish. I have gotten several plants and fish from here and all of them have thrived in my tank. Their tanks are established and well stocked, and the staff is knowledgeable.

I stopped in today to take a look at some coral and fish. The owner could not have been nicer helping me select the perfect coral and fish for my tank, all for a fair price. I highly recommend Wet Pets for any saltwater or freshwater needs and look forward to visit them in the future.

I came in on 4/12/16 while i was in the area to check it out. i am from boston ma so this is my first time here everyone is really friendly and awesome. I was greeted as i walked in and i walked around and found a pair of black snowflake clown fish that i been wanted to get, there was a guy who was doing maintenance right next to me very very helpful i didnt catch his name but wicked cool dude. i came back today 4/13/16 to purchase the two clown fish and i believe his name was nick according to the shirt he was wearing helped me out, he had wonderful customer service and so does everyone else in the store. no matter what it is they are there for you unlike some store when you're just waiting for someone to show or come by but doesn't acknowledge that you're standing right in front of you. I will definitely come back even though i'm 2 hours away i will make the trip!

These guys are tops. I affectionately refer to them as the "fish nerds, " because they know a lot. They are friendly and courteous. They always take time with customers no matter what. Keep up the great job Wet Pets and we'll keep stopping in from time to time.

Amazing selection of fish and freshwater shrimp. Well worth my 1 1/2 hour drive from Rhode Island. Incredibly friendly and knowledgable staff helped me with everything. I highly recommend this place to others with a passion in this hobby.

This fish pet store is top notch, first when my boyfriend and I walked in we were greeted and the employee Alex went right to work on getting some shrimp out of the tank for us. Browsing around the store you can see the care and dedication that the employees have for the animals; all the tanks were clean and the fish were thriving not like the tanks you see at PetCo or Petsmart where there are dead fish at the bottom of the tanks.

The variety of aquatic life and plants is fantastic and they have 2 tanks of discus, my favorite, and they are gorgeous! All the employees are very knowledgeable and friendly especially Alex, very nice kid. My favorite part about the store besides the discus tanks was the fact the employees don't pressure you into buying stuff they let you browse and do your own thing. We will definitely be coming here for all our of fish needs from now on, well done Wet Pets, well done!

Best aquatic pet store I have gone to. Beautiful healthy fish, super clean tanks and a great selection of corals, inverts and fish.

Went in to buy a heater. Paid over 2.5x what the same thing goes for elsewhere. Was an emergency purchase so no time to shop around but as a result of getting the shaft, will never buy from them again. There are other shops around.

This is a really cool fish store with a lot of high end fish and equipment. A lot of places only sell baby fish so you don't see what they'll look like when full grown but this place has a lot of cool looking mature fish to look at. One of the best stores in the state.
