Excellent selection and prices. My family drove from Kansas City to visit Maine and this was our favorite store on the whole trip. Next time we come back, this will be a place we have to return!

We were visiting they were very helpful I don't usually spend much on a dog coat for my chi but we did at your store and it fit better than any we got at the big stores you get what you pay for thank you

If you have children with you, you will not be welcomed here. Each year we buy our family dog a new round of toys and dog stuff. This year as our daughter's excitedly showed us a toy they wanted to purchase for our dog, a staff member approached them and reprimanded them for removing the toy from its place on the shelf, telling them they were messing up the store for the other customers.

To be clear we were NOT ransacking the store. We had picked up a few toys to look at closely for durability and returned them to their bin or bucket. We won't be carrying on our tradition of buying over priced toys from this shop that cannot welcome families who want to spend money.

They toy I bought my extremely wild, aggressive young (but giant!) chewer has been the best thing I have ever found him. It's literally just a lobster squeeze toy but is so tough around it with such great fabric he hasn't ripped it even a little. I'm like, amazed. It's been a good 3mos+ and I constantly feel like I'm wasting money on his toys because he ruins every single one unless they're the big old rubber ones.

Very impressed and I live here in ME so I will be back soon! The treats we got smelled so good my kids wanted to eat them lol. To boot the staff were so helpful and knowledgeable. My in laws come from AZ soon and have a young Golden. Can't wait to show them this shop!

I just got my order from Scalawags for their Bully Horns for my pit bull mix dog, Gronk. He has chewed it down almost most half way in just a week. He has been so calm and relaxed. We original found out about the horns when we were on vacation in Kennebunkport in September and were in the awesome cute store. I received the package just two days after the day I ordered. I love this lovely shop! It is beautiful and organized inside. The employees are very friendly and sweet. The products are top-notch and much nicer than you would find at say a chain pet store. This boutique is high class all-around. I always buy for myself (well my dog), but this store is great for a gift! Always happy to support this local biz when I'm in Kennebunk!

Absolutely the best place to get wonderful, quality items for both dogs and cats. Fun, imaginative gifts, darling clothes and accessories for your pet (and you), heavenly treats, many of which are made in Maine), and a huge selection of collars and leashes. The staff is friendly, helpful and so knowledgeable, I could go on and on! Make it a point to scamper on in, your scalawags are welcome, too!

This is the definition of a dog lover's dream (they have cat stuff too but I'm a "dog person" haha) they have clothes, toys, decor, you name it and the best part is you can bring your pooch in so they can pick put thier own stuff! We brought our newest addition to the family a few weeks ago when we were up in the area and she was met by the NICEST lady who offered her sample treats and was so accommodating.

Our little girl is a bit skittish but felt very at home sniffing around and choosing some toys. Do yourself a favor and bring your best bud for a great outing. There's also a beach near by that's super dog friendly!

Great products and staff. They really like dogs! Very welcoming and helpful staff. We enjoyed our visit and suggest all dog lovers stop by when you are in the area. They also have cat products as well and stick lots of unique items.
