Jay's Jungle

I have been here a few times yo get supplies for my reptiles as there are some pretty cheap prices. But when I went to the back to see the animals I was horrified. Every animal is grossly over stocked. I get it's a pet store, but this was way too much. 3+ adult leopard geckos in a 10 gallon tank is not only dangerous for their health and safety, but also doesn't allow enough room to have proper heating/cooling/humidity.

There were many cages of leopard Geckos in horrible condition. They had stuck shed, we're barely moving, had injuries, MBD (deformed bones), and were very malnourished. I've had leopard geckos for a while now and it made me so sad to see. There were many other reptiles in small tanks that were extremely overstocked. I cried on my way to another pet store, as I couldn't afford to save them. This is horrible.

This is a great little pet store. I worked in a pet store 10+ years and have seen everything. The store is clean, has a great selection of product for all animal types, and the live animals look healthy and well cared for. The staff was very nice and helpful. I got a tarantula and my friend got a lizard. I wish i lived closer to go there more often.

I really enjoy Jay's jungle. It is my go-to stop for crickets to feed my pet spiders. The staff is cool and are always willing to answer any random question I have about pretty much anything. And I really appreciate that. They also have several very cute tree and poison dart frogs.

He has a great variety of fish but they all seem to die within days of getting them home. Doesn't matter if it's saltwater or freshwater. I have been keeping fish for years and I have the hardest time keeping fish from Jays alive. Save some money and drive up to animal ark.

A huge fan of this store for their great prices, service, cleanliness and quality. I was looking at aquatic plants, shrimp and fish, and went to a few stores around town. This store was the cleanest one, best prices (like 2-5x cheaper) and some impressively clean tanks. It was my first time there, but the staff (both of them) were very helpful and very knowledgeable. It was actually shocking how much better this store was than the other stores. When not helping people, they were tending to the animals there. Overall, very impressed.

Every time we visit Jays Jungle the employees have been helpful and friendly. We've bought hamsters both from here and at Petco. The hamsters from Jays Jungle have been in better health and have lived longer.

I mean it's an okay store, the selection is pretty good, and the prices are decent but the only thing I didn't like was the quality of all the animals lives. The fish were all sick. Birds were missing toes were very over crowded, the reptiles were in way to small of cages for any of them, and the staff are very odd, meaning they kinda don't talk or act friendly they kinda just stand off to the side and I often get the feeling that they judge me because of how often I go there.

Went here to get some stocking stuffers for my pet ball python. The staff was nice, but I had a hard time giving them my business after seeing the condition of their ball pythons. Maybe they just don't know how to keep ball pythons or don't care. Stuck shed, no thermal regulation, no hides in any of their snakes enclosures. I wish I could have taken them all home with me.

If you're considering to buy a ball python from them, make sure you do enough research on how to care for your animal so they are kept comfortable and happy. Buy everything you need for your ball python and set it up before you take them home so you know everything is perfectly regulated.

They have a lot of different options to choose from. A lot of birds, cages, etc. We first went to PetSmart but they only had 3 birds. Jay's had probably 100. They are cheaper too. They had reptiles and fish, tanks etc. Nice people too.
