A family owned business since 1988. A gimmick free pet care facility! The one and only kennel in the area that can provide your pet with a "natural day". By that we mean a sunrise, and a sunset in beautiful Campbell. Your pet will not be confined to the four walls of an indoor facility that keeps them under artificial light most of the day, and deprives them of the fresh air we all seek and need. We are a traditional kennel - an old fashioned kennel, if you will. We don't shy away from that description.

Services
West Valley Pet Lodge is owned and staffed by a family that has been involved with dogs and cats for a very long time - almost 50 years! Shetland Sheepdogs, and more recently "designer dogs." Are there such people as "Dog Whisperers"? We're not certain, but if its possible, the family at West Valley may come close.
This will have to suffice until you can come by meet with our staff, and see the facilities first hand. Our tour hours are 10:00AM to 3:00PM Monday - Friday, and 10:00AM to 12:00 noon Saturday. You'll see our Maroon and White sign as you approach us on Dell. You can either park on Dell Avenue or on the parking area in front of the main house/reception area.
Pet boarding - our only business - and one that reflects our life long relationship with dogs and cats! Only boarding! While animal care facilities of more recent vintage gather several animal oriented businesses together, businesses such as grooming, training, boutiques and spas, we've chosen to be expert in just one - boarding of dogs and cats.
Your daily routine or some unexpected events in your life may prompt you to need some temporary, or daily care and security for your dog. Our Day Care Plus+, or Day Care Plus/Plus+ programs may be just the help you need. The dogs love it! A healthy, good and nutritious snack, not a "treat" type snack.

We dropped our dog off today and could not have been more impressed with the friendly, personal service that we received. I compared quite a few kennels in the area and our first experience with the owners gave me confidence that I made the right choice. We already miss our dog, but I have a strong feeling that she'll be in good hands. Update January 2, 2022: Our dog was sure happy to see us when we picked her up, but she appeared to be calm and well taken care of. Very happy with the service we received!

I had called for a Holiday reservation over 2 months ago and was told that I "did not need reservations, there's plenty of openings". Well, it's Dec 10th, I wanted to try a one day overnight trial and was told, "We are all booked through the Holidays" WTH! Now I'm scrambling to find a place for our pooch! Terrible Service! Do not recommend this place!

Did a walk through The person that did the walk through with me was very short and rude and seemed to wisk me through very quickly. From what I saw the kennels are an ok size but are concrete and not fit for a dog that has issues with seeing other dogs because they can see over the fence. It did not look very clean.

This is not a fancy place, no bells or whistles at all. But it's family run, friendly, and best of all they had availability over Christmas! Prices are reasonable, unless you want your own food (+$4/day) or if your pet needs medication (another +$4/day). Even so, worth it to have somewhere safe to take your pet!

I love this place because my dogs love this place. They come home sleek and happy. And they get waggy when they go back and they see where we are. The people who run the place don't always show great people skills. Fine. I'm not there to socialize. They always recognize my dogs and smile at them and call them by name, though they don't always recognize me. Dogs have outdoor and heated indoor runs.
