The Contented Canine is a dog daycare and overnight boarding facility in Palm City, Florida. During the daytime, our guests enjoy the company of one another in closely supervised play groups. Whether they choose to spend the day in the air conditioned playroom or in one of the fenced outdoor runs, they are sure to have a great time romping and playing with their doggie friends.
In the evening, our overnight guests retire to their individual kennels for some well deserved rest and relaxation. The Contented Canine is owned and operated by Kerry Matthews.

I first discovered The Contented Canine while looking for a kind, positive trainer to work with my then 6-month old female rottweiler puppy to teach replacement behaviors for her preferred manner of greeting new people, which was jumping on them, and to solidify commands with which she was already familiar. My puppy was so happy and had so much fun there that she now goes five days a week for doggy daycare. I can't say enough good stuff about this place; they are fabulous!

My Wheaten Terrier loves this place and always leaves tuckered out so I know she gets plenty of exercise and excitement. I highly recommend Kerry and her staff for daycare or overnight stays. We've even taken advantage of her board and train program and now have a much better behaved dog as a result.
