If I could give a negative 10 I would. We took our dog from Sunday to Thursday last week. 4 nights so we could go to Orlando theme Parks. When we called to check on Ladybug the phones they said was not working. I had told them that she had separation anxiety and needed a lot of attention. We give them her own sensitive stomach food and anxiety medicine.
They didn't give her none of her medicine and the dog food we provided. They didn't let her interact with the other dogs or even tried to make an effort. They left her in a small room and said she was shy. She is not a shy dog she gets along well with other dogs. She loves her belly rubs and side rubs. We never received a live video with her.
I only got one picture of her sent to my phone. We went on Wednesday to check on her and they assured us that she was ok. But wouldn't let us see her. Heidi one of the owners knew I was upset and fed me with a bunch of BS. We left and went on with our plans for the day and I said we will be back the next day to pick her up. I was stressed out the whole week I knew something was wrong.
Nowhere else we have boarded her was she neglected as this place. When we went to pick her up and my husband called her name she came out of the fenced room she hurried to get to him. She was so happy to see us she had a big smile on her face. She was whining to get out of that place. Heidi seen how she was when she seen us. They never give us her food that we left with them back.
They did give us her medicine and toys we sent with her. They were going to keep my husband's shirt we left them with so she could lay on it with his scent. As we were checking out and paying them they claimed we were not supposed to get her until the next day. We said no we are taking her now. Thursday evening, she had diarrhea bad and pooped 5 times in a row at our hotel room when we got back, had she been fed her own dog food we sent she wouldn't have had that.
Her poop is still black and really hard. We have been giving her pumpkin since returning home Sunday. She is happy now. Never again will i board her with VIP Pet Resort Orlando Florida! very irresponsible!

Reserved for boarding for my two dogs, I made this reservation 6 WEEKS AGO! After driving 4 hours with toddlers and don't live around the area, for them to reject them because one of my dogs didn't have her bordetella up to date. And even if I get the shot today it has to be done at least up to 10 days before which I was NEVER told when spoke on the phone. Also, the lady asked if my dog was spayed and I said no and she made this hand movement like if I was stupid.
I was never told my dog had to be spayed. And the lady that I spoke too on the phone I told her that none of my two dogs where and she never mentioned anything about it. Never told me the first time I came and never told me when I reserved the reservation. Never again

Well he recently moved from North Carolina and needed boarding. The staff was wonderful and very accommodating. Dogs are required to go for a trial day to be sure they are appropriate for boarding. Even for daycare they are given their own room so they can relax part of the day. The groomers are also wonderful. They did a great job with a bath and nail trimming.

This place does not even deserve a rating, I am making my dogs story known so this tragedy doesn't happen to someone else. I checked in my Dog Chloe on February 2nd 2022 with my other dog Sambi. She was 4 years old in perfect health I have vet records of everything, Chloe had a history of boarding and I have never had any issues before. She was an English bulldog and I specifically told the staff that she could not be outside for longer than 10 minutes because she gets heat strokes.
This is on record in email, phone call and paper! I get a call after I dropped her off from the staff saying that Chloe was throwing up and had to be rushed to the hospital Sand Lake Animal Clinic I get a call from the vet saying that Chloe's tongue was purple when they brought her in from lack of oxygen because they left her out for longer than 10 minutes unsupervised the staff even admitted that they didn't see the paperwork. Chloe crashed twice while on the vets table and had to be given oxygen the vet calls me and explains what is happening, I tell the vet I want her to stay the night there because I do not trust VI Pet Resort with my dog I do not want her back there.
My husband has to rush back from Ocala the next morning on our wedding day to pick up Chloe from Vi pet resort and my dog sambi, we take her back to our airbnb our family was staying at and chloe does not survive the night she is found dead. These people are fully responsible for my dog having a heat stroke and the stress it caused on her body and the owner Michael Reiner refuses to take responsibility for what happened he accuses me of being a liar when his own staff admitted to the tragedy (all on calls), he is not sympathetic after his own staff admitted that they did not see the paperwork he refuses to pay Chloe's cremation and cost and has not been apologetic about the situation.
Do not trust this business! They do not take any accountability for their actions. I trusted these people with my pets on my wedding day and my dog lost her life because of it. Do not take your dogs here God forbid this tragedy happens to another dog owner. #justiceforchloe

What an amazing place. After a bad experience in a different boarding in the past, I was nervous about leaving my puppy. I'm just so grateful for the attention and care given in VIPet. They always answered my calls and gave me news about my puppy, they were the sweetest! I know I have find a place I can trust to leave my dog for boarding in the future without having to think twice.

Absolutely LOVE this place! I truly wish that they were located near my home. We needed a place for our dog to stay (5 days) during a family trip to Kissimmee. Fortunately, they were 20 min away from where we stayed. Not only did they provide daily pics of her, but she looked so well kept and happy. I felt so at ease when I received those pictures.
As long as you give them full instructions and pack the proper care items for your pet, they will treat them as if it's their own. Very nice staff. Would definitely take her once a week as a play pal if I lived local. Amazing experience for my girl, Solei!

Excellent service. Always takes great care of our pup. They offer group playtime or individual time depending on your pets situation. Our dog does not play well with others and they actually understand that and take care of her so well. We trust this place with her every time we are out of town. 10/10

I don't understand a pet boarding place that's in an industrial building where the dogs sleep on a cold hard floor. They never get to go outside except for the big dogs and that's just when they get walked outside in the parking lot. They are left alone all night long with no one there to watch out for their safety. There are many other boarding places where all the dogs get to play outside. I guess it's just my opinion.

My doggo LOVES VIPet! He goes to play care a couple times a week and had lots of fun playing with the staff and other dogs. I know he's having a good time because I watch him when they video. Also, when we pull into the parking lot he gets super excited, and when I come to pick him up, I literally have to carry him out because he doesn't want to leave (which is a little demoralizing, I admit). I checked out several other play care facilities but couldn't get past the terrible smell and lack of appropriate supervision. SO glad to have found VIPet!

Corduroy came home with me at 8 weeks old (6 months now) and with me working from home he's never spent a day away from me, so I was really reluctant and did my homework. Corduroy was so happy when I came to pick him up and knocked out when we got home. Shepadoodles are high energy dogs, he slept all night until 830, he's usually up by 7.
That told me he played super hard, which is what he needs as well as the opportunity to socialize with other pups. Their play area and where they sleep was super clean and I love the snack options you can choose from. I will definitely utilize them again in the very near future.

@adventuresofcrystalandjayden @petportraitsbymaui & @mcaldwell0529 would give 10 stars if we could. V.I.Pet Resort is a great safe haven that provides a wonderful space for your dog to be themselves. We love bringing our baby frenchie (Jayden) there because, he gets to make friends, and be loved the same way we love him. They always send us pictures of him interacting with others, and we love how they do a live video of all the babies playing with one another.
All the animals get treated equally with much love and compassion, which we greatly value. Thank you V.I.Pet Resort for being such a wonderful resource for our family. Highly recommended!

Great place! My dog enjoys his time here and the staff are super friendly and caring! Connie is super sweet as well! I like how they send you pictures of your dog during their stay. I just wish their hours opened earlier and closed later to have more flexibility of dropping off and picking up your dog.

By far the best doggie day care place in Orlando. I've never had a bad experience. The entire staff is more than kind and treat my pup like one of their own. Cooper is afraid of heights and won't get out of the car but somehow manages to leap out of the car every time we park for day care. Annemarie is fabulous and the doggie fairy godmother you never thought you needed but you totally do, Connie is just the absolute best, incredibly caring and truly truly loves your pup with everything and Sarah is just a sweet little angel baby. I recommend this place to everyone I know! Two paws up!

Super happy with my first VIPet Resort experience. I came to Orlando for the Grace Hopper Conference and needed someplace for my little dog Fox. She had never been to doggy daycare before, but loves other dogs, however is super afraid of most people. It was the first time someone took Fox's leash from me and she actually followed them out of the room without me!
I was super worried how it would go and after the conference returned to find all of the workers had fallen for my little monster. They made it super easy for my first time taking my dog on a business trip!

We arranged for our MinPin to stay at this resort while we visited Disney. We loved the daily pictures, the staff's clear joy at spoiling our boy, and the report card we got when we picked him up. Our boy is pretty sweet and flexible, but this was the first time we'd boarded him since he adopted us 18 months ago, so we weren't exactly sure how he'd do.
We felt good about his stay. For small dogs, there are two options - - companion club (upstairs) and regular boarding (downstairs). Upstairs has mandatory group play and downstairs has individual playtime. Because we weren't sure how he would do with other dogs, we chose downstairs. We received daily pictures of our boy during his individual times. If we go back to Orlando for any reason and need to board our boy again, this will definitely be our go-to place. Thanks for giving us piece-of-mind!

DOGS ARE ALONE FROM 7PM-7AM. NO SUPERVISION, NO POTTY BREAKS, NOTHING. When I first took my pup here I had a good experience, I found it expensive, and like they nickle and dimed me, but it was the first decent dog boarding/day care experience I had in Orlando. That being said, they did not make it clear the dogs would be completely alone from 7pm to 7am in their "suites".
When I called, they said no one is in the facility for those 12 hours. The dogs do not get pee breaks or walks or anything. Their only response was they have cameras to check on them, which in my opinion means nothing. If something happens with a dog, they wouldn't get there for at least 10 minutes, if they even see them in the middle of the night.
This facility makes you sign a bunch of liability waivers to make sure they are not held accountable for anything, yet they can't even make it known your pet will be alone for half the time you're paying them. I'm extremely upset about this news concerning my dog, and also extremely disgruntled that I am paying $49 for 24 hour dog care, but only receiving 12 hours of care. I would never leave my dog alone for 12 hours, and am livid I am paying someone to do that to my beloved pet.

When I first boarded my kitty at VIPet Resort, I came on Yelp to see how people felt about it, but never saw many reviews on how cats are with them. Being on a time crunch, I trusted my gut and boarded my cat Samantha with VIPet. For all my cat lovers, these people will love your cat and treat them like their own. They always have a smile on their faces and even remembered my cat when I dropped her off! So cute. Love this place.

I left my dog here for 4 days and was very happy with this experience. They go live on Facebook each day during dog play time which was very comforting for me to see. My dog was wagging her tail and having a good time. They give written feedback about how your dog did.almost like a report card.which was very cute. Reasonable prices and accommodating. I will definitely bring my dog Denver back! Thank you

We recently drove cross country to spend a week in Orlando. We boarded our min pin at VIPet Resort. It was the first time he has ever been boarded and first time he has been away from us. They made us feel welcome from the start. They seem very clean and everyone was very friendly. We got daily photos of Dovahkiin texted to us which was great because we could see how well he was doing.
When we picked him up we got a detailed report about his stay. We had his nails trimmed and he got a bath. They had a cute little bandana around his neck. We will definitely use them again next time we are in town.

We recently boarded our two pups here while visiting Universal nearby. After booking there was great communication from the owner regarding what records were needed. There were a few questions with some of the paperwork, but everything was resolved quickly. You can tell that the owner is very thorough with making sure everyone is vaccinated properly.
Some might find it annoying, but I appreciated the fact she is trying to keep everyone's dogs healthy and safe. The facility is immaculately clean and actually smells good. We opted from the Companion Club upstairs as our dogs are smaller (and getting a little older!) so we thought they would enjoy being around other small dogs. There was also loungers for them to use and a doggies pool.
The staff was great at updating us via facebook and snapchat during the dog's stay. When we picked the dogs up, they didn't seem to want to go home. Both pups were happy and healthy and slept the whole ride home. I would definitely use VIPet if I'm in Orlando again.

What a fantastic place! It's not the cheapest, but when it comes to our best friends money is no object. My puppy, Lady loves going here. She is always happy and excited to go see her friends. Thank you VIP Pet for letting me relax on my vacation knowing my puppy is being taken care of. She will be back soon.

Caution-caution! I planned a trip to Orlando, researched boarding facilities and coordinated my visit over a month in advance. Completed all my paperwork in-advance and received confirmations. When I arrived I was notified they need the influenza vacations which I didn't have. As a very responsible pet owner and planner this was both a good thing and a bad thing since I wasn't aware I needed it.
My caution isn't that they are a bad facility, my caution is double check everything with them. Even then it's not a sure thing there won't be issues. I believe they need to review their processes, and check lists. Being away from home and finding out you don't have a boarding option for you're beloved Pet, is a serious problem. I also believe the co-owner needs some additional training on communications and conflict resolution. Offer solutions, not excuses or just "I'm sorry"!

Once you bring your furry pets here, they may never want to go home! Between their own built in dog bone shaped pool, to the imacculet individual condos they sleep in! They also have lot's of other furry playmates to run around & play with all day! With all the attention they get from the staff & Nicole, your pets will be in their Glory!

Okay, Cat owners know, life for a cat truly sucks when they're boarded. Its that simple. It wouldn't matter where or how you board them, it gonna be a HELLish nights & days. Our last (poor) desperate choice for Delmar was to use our Vet's boarding facilities which drove him mentally mixed-nuts. Penned in a little wire kennel all day, over stimulated with LOUD, smelly dogs and other cat's smelly cat stimuli, he transformed into a KRAKEN around day two-three.
No wonder- huh? Wow, this V.I.Pet place is an awesome option for boarding your best friend(s). Out of the couple boarding options we recently considered, this is the Cat's Meow! Super clean, quiet, large areas, and not stupid priced. The staff was pleasant and eager to show us around and explain all they do. They document all activities to be done and completed on a ledger kept on the door.
The Kat Condos are, well HELL folks- (It ain't his back yard!) but guessing now, about a 3' x 5' pen with multiple "landings", so some 3D "inmate" movement is possible. Actually he sleeps all day anyway. They have "outside" time each day in their spacious living room atmosphere where one wall is mostly storefront glass looking outside at the trees beyond the parking lot.
Complete with multiple kitty towers and some furniture and an aquarium. I'm sure he would rather his out time was after the staff has called it a day, but hey it's HELL TIME. Sorry Delmar, this is a good as your options are gonna get. Now for the dogs- Boy, these guys got the LONG end of the stick when it came to the socializing traits. (yes we cat owners do realize this) These dogs appeared as to also be on their vacation.
They have a large play area - and man they do make good of it. Oh, now the dog pen area did have a video playing for the "time out" dogs to watch and you don't have to use much imagination to figgur out what the hell subject matter was on the video- yep, not butterflies. Funny to note the difference in ambiance walking from that school library degree of quite, solemn kitty area, then going back to where the Gang-Bangers are all whoopin' it up and frolicking around with their new found buddies without a single care.
I frankly preferred the cat pens design over the dogs pens. The cat pen fronts have a mesh material door so your little guy can look out - and hiss or snarl specifically at the visitors. The short dogs, well get to stare at 3' x 3' x 6' (guessing) white walls. If your a tall enough puppy, they can peer over their barrier for some unchaperoned viewing. Okay - so our mind is made up. Ole' Delamr goes to V.I.Pet this next vacation. I'll update that actual experience when complete.
