Petcare Grouphas been a god sent. My golden retriever would pull terrible when I walked him and I just didn't have the time to walk him as much as he needed. I tried a few different places and they could not handle his strength. Randy at PetCare was absolutely the best! Duke loves him and now I have a dog that I am able to walk. I still use Randy for daily walks because it is so important for Goldens to have exercise every day and I just don't have the time. Pet Care is a wonderful service.dependable and caring. I can call the day before and someone will be here to walk Duke.

I was very nervous leaving my pandemic kitties for a week for the first time having never used a per care service before. PetCare did a great job and was very responsive to any emails I sent them. I liked that they sent an email after each time they came. Fully recommend them and will use them again.

We used PetCare to watch our cat last summer for a week and we were extremely pleased with the service. We received daily emails on how our cat was doing. We offered to bring our cat's litter box up from the basement to make it more convenient for the pet sitter, but she insisted that we should not do anything to upset our cat's routine which I found very thoughtful and reassuring. I definitely plan on using them again this summer.

We have recently started using PetCare Group for our 10 year old pittie. So far, the experience has been great. Jen is super responsive via email which makes us feel that much more comfortable. The people who come to care for our dog are respectful of our wishes, instructions and our home! They also send detailed emails after every visit with pictures of our pup! We will definitely be using them all summer :-

Jenna and her team have been a blessing for us. We used to have the teenagers on our street cat sit for us, but they've grown up and left home. We had to find another solution for our vacations. Our vet and a couple of friends highly recommended PetCare Group. We have been very pleased with the care our two kitties received from them. Jenna sent pictures with daily updates and we found them happy and things in good order when we returned.

Love PetCare Group so very much! We needed our 15 year old dog (who was not doing well) cared for overnight in a last minute situation. Jen not only jumped in to help, she wanted every detail necessary to keep our dog comfortable before we left, and kept in touch with us repeatedly while we were gone. We just welcomed a new puppy and I knew as soon as we needed a pet sitter I'd call Jen again.
She did a meet and greet with our pup to get to know her and then sent Alla to walk her. Afterwards, we were sent a very detailed description of the walk and also gave us ideas for her training needs. We set up an in-home training lesson based on positive reinforcement and it was totally tailored to our family and how each of us interacts with our pup. PetCare Group will be our go to for training and walks/pet sitting!

My sitter from PetCare Group Inc. was awesome! She was willing to do a meet-and-greet ahead of time, which I really wanted because one of my pets is sensitive to strangers, and during the duration of care she seemed to really know how to adapt her behavior to fit my cats' extremely different personalities. I also appreciated the email updates following every visit as it helped me miss my fur babies a little less while I was away.
She took care of any small issues that arose and communicated them, and did everything I asked of her. Definitely will be hiring her again and recommending PetCare Group to friends in the future!

When Jen was personally taking care of my cats herself in the beginning days of first hiring her, things were great and my original 5-star review applied. Unfortunately, that is no longer the case. At some point over the years, as the business grew, she started sending other pet sitters she hired to do the job I mistakenly assumed she was still doing.
I realized there were always other sitters but initially she was the one caring for my cats who are now deceased. When we adopted 3 new ones almost 7 years ago, I had her come over to meet them so they would be somewhat familiar with her when she came back to pet sit. I don't know if she ever came back herself after that or if it was a different person who did the pet sitting from that point on.
She should have told me then that there would be a different sitter going forward. Communication has become less effective, instructions not followed properly, and during the most recent hiring of their services, the water bowls were not cleaned or changed out in 9 days. They had been refilled with more water so they never ran out (I assume), but the bowls were slimy on the bottom with scum, and the water dirty with cat hair, litter, food, and other debris that inevitably collects in a water bowl.
The instructions I'd left specifically mentioned changing out the water bowls for cleaning, which should be a no-brainer if your job is caring for pets. Furthermore, whoever my assigned sitter was for this job, lied on her status update on the final day and wrote, ".put down new bowls of water for them." If a pet sitter can't do something as simple as giving your cats fresh bowls of water and lies about it, what else did they lie about?
This last experience, along with the owner's cavalier response, has resulted in the termination of a professional relationship of more than a decade, which is also upsetting. A different response with an offered solution may have salvaged the broken trust and relationship, but I guess she no longer needs or cares about my business.

Inconsistent care with pet sitters and I agree with Gina's review. I had one sitter come inappropriately late (1:30 am) for the bedtime visit; the same sitter being s no show for midday/dinner visit. the sitters early on got both my dogs to walk (one is very frightened) AND sent notes about visits. 1. We had a walker inappropriately yell at our already nervous puppy. I was uncomfortable with the individual and let Jen know I no longer wanted him to visit. He was not sent to our home again. 2. Multiple times we had walkers that seemed to visit without any instruction. There were a couple times our dog did not receive lunch and there was a time where she was left out of her crate and we came home to find accidents around the house.
For the visit when the dog was left out, there was no charge. 3. We were paying for 45 minute visits and started to track the visits when we noticed the dog was outside for very brief periods. On average, our dog was outside for 7 minutes per visit. I was paying for my dog to be either walked or played with outside, not to have someone come sit on the couch with her.
On the last day we used PCG, I scheduled a 45 minute visit, Jen promised to send her "best" girl who then showed up for 12 minutes and let the dog out for ONE minute. Really? 4. After terminating service with PCG, I asked for our house key to be returned. After 2.5 weeks, Jen e-mailed be saying it would be returned the following day and then e-mailed to let me know it was under out mat.
The key is no where to be found and Jen then said it was dropped off several weeks ago. The current status is that we do not have our key, Jen has not responded to my e-mail, and it seems as though I will have to pay out of pocket to have my door rekeyed. If you or one of you employees lost the key, own up to it, be honest, and offer an apology and a solution.
It it very unfortunate how things turned out with PCG as I really enjoyed their service early on. However, it seems like there is very little communication and a complete lack of professionalism. I asked for the dog to be fed and played with - that's it. I scheduled 3x a week and always paid on time. I expected people to be kind and provide the service I requested. It's pretty ridiculous that I ended up with so many issues with what should be a simple job. There were issues that Jen remedied (see above), but it seemed that even the basics of the service requests could not be met.

We used this service twice, once for a long 4 day weekend, the next one for 2 weeks, 2 daily visits. Disappointing events and business ethics. The first time we were charged extra because of the "last minute" holiday weekend. This is NOT a problem but there was lack of communication on Jen's part (owner) about this. She assumed I knew this by visiting her website.
I asked for come credit and she offered $20. Acceptable and we went ahead and called her up the second time. This time was longer: 2 weeks twice daily visits. We had many problems this time. By not providing proper information or instructions ( first time about charges), this time. Problem #1- not setting alarm on the way out after petsitting. Problem #2- Alarm went off and Police was dispatched because pettsitter went in the wrong door.
Problem #3- Lack of communication. ( I called Jen several times to find out why police was dispatched and to find out if everything was ok at home)Jen send email letting me know she was going into a meeting and preferred if I communicated via email instead. I wanted to learn about the incident and had to called the alarm company to find out about the door being opened.
Since the alarm company were not able to find me, they called all family members and they drove to the house. It was a big deal to me but not for Jen, at least she did not feel like calling me to make me feel at ease. Again, she is impersonal and prefers emails. She may be a good business person but not caring/friendly. Problem #4- The sitter locked herself out.
After reaching Jen, she emailed me to communicate with the sitter. Problem #5- The petsitter texted me several times that Saturday to let me know she was on her way to my house to pick up spare key, this took her 5 hours picking up spare key. She finally arrived after midnight. She said Uber was lost several times which I found hard to believe. I recently upgraded to a new alarm system that allows me to see when someone sets alarms on/off.
When sitter did not set alarm on, I asked Jen to set alarm on, she asked me to do it with my app. This is Jen's responsibility to set alarm on for her clients, not mine. Problem #6- Her employees petsitters are different everytime, making me uncomfortable how many people come in and out of my home. I would prefer a service with less people coming in my house. I also prefer to run into less problems. Most importantly, I would prefer to deal with a friendly, less aloof owner.

We've been using PetCare group for walks for our poodle for a few months now and they've been great! They're reliable and easy to communicate with, and I like that our walker leaves a note in a notebook after each walk so I can see how my dog was that morning. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for some PetCare help!

We've been using PetCare Group for about 7 years for three different dogs. They have been nothing but caring and reliable to us and our animals. After interviewing 5 different companies we chose PetCare Group and have been more than happy with their services over the years. We also had several animals with major medical issues and I was always confident in this team with giving meds and following all of their care instructions. Extremely convenient 'nanny' type service as a great alternative to doggie day care!

We used PetCare's training services. First, they were very responsive and I had a training session set up in just a few hours. Second, the training had great results. We were able to learn strategies to help with our dog's behavior when people come into our home and for her reactiveness to dogs and joggers when walking. Highly recommend!

We have been very happy with our daily dog-walking services. Each day our caretaker leaves us a note about how the visit went. Our dog really loves her. We also had a training session that was extremely helpful. The owner, Jen, is quick to respond whenever we contact her. I'd highly recommend this company.

I can't recommend Jen and PetCare Group enough. If you need anything for your beloved pet(s), from sitting to walking to training, PetCare Group is your place. They're trustworthy, organized, responsible and love what they do. My favorite part of the experience is the email I get when they take my dog for a walk. I get an update on what they did, how my dog is doing and i always get a picture - sometimes a short video. I know my dog is safe and in good hands with PetCare Group

I wish I would have taken these reviews seriously. This company is the worst. They never showed up for a night visit or a morning visit. The sitter was not able to get the key from the office and no one was around to handle it. My pets were left home alone and unattended. My dog was caged and another older dog was left in diapers. They didn't come for their night visit or the early am.
Nor was I notified about any problems until after the fact. If you love your pets, I would not use this sitter. I'm now making dog care arrangements from the Bahamas.and they came highly referred. What a joke this company is.they came referred by a good friend too.

Fantastic care of my 2 dogs. They are much less stressed and cleaner than when I board them at a kennel. They love their doggie babysitter and get 3 good walks in per day as well as get petted/individualized attention. Our pet sitter even turns on music or leaves the TV on for them for a few hours each day ( per my request). They also will water your plants, check mail or take in your trash can for you if you request that while you are away.
I also like that we get an email daily to let us know what's going on. At first I was uncertain about letting a stranger into my house but after meeting our pet sitter, seeing how well she interacted with my dogs and after over a year of great service so far I highly recommend Pet Care Group!

Petcare group has been taking care of our cats for the last three years. When we travel, I simply schedule daily visits online. I enjoy reading the email updates and funny comments about our four cats antics, and quirky personalities. We are able to relax knowing our kitties are taken care of while we're away. We return home to clean litter boxes, fed and happy cats.

Pet Care Group cared for my seven cats on many occasions. The pet sitter impressed me right off--on her initial visit with me she made friends right away with one of our more cantankerous cats. I was further impressed with their service. The pet sitter made sure to account for each of our cats during every visit--and if you know cats, you know that this takes some doing.
Some kitties are more interested in their scheduled naps than in visiting with people. And we have seven. Cat food and water dishes were all filled and clean when I returned after five days away. Litter boxes tidy too. The sitter emailed me notes every day on which cat had greeted her, which cat played with what toy, etc. I think she spent far more time than the 30 minutes I had paid for. It was great to hear about what was going on with our cats, and then come home to happy kitties and a clean house.

I wish I could give them zero stars. I used them while my boyfriend and I were out if town for a few days. What I came home to broke my heart. First of all I had to ask them to let me know how things were going so they would send a email morning and night saying everything was fine but when I came home my babies smelt of urine and I found four accidents.
The water bowl was dirty with maybe a quarter inch of water in it, the food bowls were empty (my pets free feed), and the cat box was not cleaned. The owner did not care at all. I will never use them again and I urge you not to. I wish I would have read the other reviews prior to using this company that doesn't care about your pets.

Should not even get 1 star! After writing my first review the owner wrote me an e-mail letting me know how inaccurate my review is. Nothing about this review is inaccurate. You called me ONCE to let me know my dog was out and no one could get him. He slept outside in the cold. I called multiple times and only got a hold of you ONCE! I would say that is poor communication when our pet is gone.
He ended up running almost 2 miles away. That is a huge deal! He could have been hit by a car. It's very upsetting that this company cannot take an honest review. Prospective customers should be aware of how we are treated and how we are being treated now. This is totally unacceptable. Your pet will be fine and safe as long as nothing unexpected happens! POOR, POOR, POOR, customer care. Will let everyone I know what happened.

My cat cannot eat dry food because of health issues, and he takes after his namesake as a master droid destroyer, so leaving automatic food dispensers is out of the question, so if we want to go away for even one night, we need a sitter. I have been using PetCare Group for a few years now. I once had an independent sitter, but for whatever reason, she missed a scheduled visit (fortunately we were only away for the night), and I realized afterwards that we needed a company like PetCare Group because they have a team of sitters.
Our last vacation was the longest we've been away from him since the time he got sick (he got stressed by our absence and had a urinary blockage - hence the need for wet food). Twice daily, we received an e-mail update from them with a full report of their visit - some days we got pictures too. My husband is seriously attached to this cat and this extra touch means so much to him - he loves when I ask him "would you like the report?".
I have complete confidence when I am on vacation that my home and my cat are in good hands. This peace of mind allows me to ditch the worries and enjoy my vacation, knowing that all will be well at home when I return.
