At Applebrook Inn Veterinary Center and Pet Resort, we believe in the whole health of your animal and the relationship you have with it. This means focusing on enriching as many areas of your pet's life as we can. We practice Preventative Medicine and run routine diagnostics to prevent as much cost and discomfort as possible to both you and your pet.
With his love of animals and a keen interest in medicine, dentistry, and surgery, it makes complete sense that James would become a veterinarian. Pursuant to his dream of having his own Veterinary practice, Dr. James Paine received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from the Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2010, just after receiving his Masters of Business Administration from the University of Southern New Hampshire. To this day, he continues to further his education in medicine, surgery and behavior.

We will work with you to create a complete treatment plan integrating medical, dietary, and lifestyle changes for your pet. I absolutely LOVE Dr. Paine. He has a great bedside manner, he listens to all of your concerns. I especially like how well he explains everything so you can understand easily and is very thorough with all he does. He has helped me deal with a new diagnosis of Cushing's in one dog and laid to rest my worries about a possible tumor in my other dog. I have only lived in Pennsylvania a year and he has been my greatest gem! He's definitely worth more than 5 stars. You can't go wrong with Applebrook. His staff is above board as well!

We followed Dr. Paine when he started at Applebrook from a previous clinic. He has been treating our dog and her crazy allergies for over 7 years. His staff is friendly, knowledgeable and understanding. Although the practice has expanded, we still receive the same care and have a great experience every time.

Our dog loves Applebrook Inn Vet and Pet Resort! We've used them as our primary vet and boarding place since we moved in early 2020. Every time we go up their driveway, he gets excited. It doesn't matter if he's there to be seen by Dr. Paine or Dr. Flower, or if he's going to make new friends while he's boarding. The staff at Applebrook love my dog and it's comforting to know that they know his personality and health history if something happens while I'm traveling. For the first time in his 10 years, I'm not worried when he's boarded.

Absolutely LOVE Applebrook! We have boarded our dogs, used day care and grooming and all our critters (cats and dogs) have been to vets Dr. Paine and Dr. Flowers. We can't say enough about all the love and compassion shown by the doctors and staff. They are true professionals who no doubt care about animals (and their owners) and love what they do. And it doesn't get better than having boarding and vet services all in one! I can't recommend Applebrook enough. They are the best!

The staff at Applebrook Inn Vet is friendly and knowledgeable. It was so easy to book an appointment. My dog went right in with the staff for curbside drop off. Dr. Flower came back out with him and she explained in detail what services they did and also gave me her recommendations. The office is in a lovely country setting. I'm glad I made the switch and will definitely recommend!

Dr. Flowers is fantastic! We recently got a silver lab puppy & she took great care of her during the first vet appointment. The staff was very friendly and helpful, from making an appointment to walking us through puppy care & future visits. I feel at ease knowing our pup will be well taken care of & there are options for daycare, boarding and training if needed. Highly recommend!

Onboarding as a new patient with Applebrook Inn was extremely easy and a first appointment was quickly available. The team at Applebrook put my dog completely at ease (and calmed all my nerves!) in a new place. The environment is very relaxing. While providing excellent care, they also explain current and preventative treatment to pet guardians-including clear financial options. Services are extremely comprehensive. One detail I really loved was when I inquired about training I could be connected with an experienced trainer right on site.
