Our company has been providing reliable pet sitting and dog walking services to the Fredericksburg and eastern Spotsylvania County area since 2006. Whether it is caring for your pet while you are at work for the day or while on vacation, our goal is to give you the peace of mind that someone reliable, trustworthy, and compassionate is looking after your "best friend."Our service provides feeding, playtime, exercise, and affection which means you will come home to happy and content pets who have been well cared for while you are away from home.
Services
All of our sitters have passed a drug test and background check (which includes county, federal, and alias multi-state searches), and are vetted for their skill and comfort level with animals, as well as general awesomeness.* Consultations with your particular sitter can be arranged for an $18 consultation fee (per visit with sitter).
Caring pet owners know that most pets adjust better to their owner's absence and experience less anxiety and stress when they can remain in their home environment. Peace of Mind Pet Services makes this possible with daily visits to your home. In addition to meals, exercise, playtime and cleaning litter boxes or cages, our professional pet sitters may also administer medications and perform other pet-care duties. That is why in-home pet care is the choice of pet owners and the "pet-preferred" method of vacation and travel care.
General information about you and specific questions about your pets and the care they require. This is the authorization between you and Peace of Mind to allow us to come into your home and service your animals. In the event of any health issue, including an emergency, we will always try to contact you first.

I've had nothing but excellent care for my pets through Peace of Mind. I found feral kittens in my backyard in May and Peace of Mind's knowledgeable Licensed Vet Tech owner has gone above and beyond to help take care of them the few times a week I'm unable to telework. Multiple visits per day, suggestions for best bottle or syringe feeding techniques, use of a heat pad, toy suggestions, photos (and occasional videos) with each visit, etc. Excellent business run very responsibly. I recommend them without hesitation and will be using them again in the future.
