Superior Dog Training services all cities surrounding the Atlanta, Georgia metro area. Our founder Jeff Wolfson has over 25 years of dog training experience. He has accomplished some of the best dog training schools in the world. Aside from the dog training schools, the years of experience has led him to create and apply, amazing dog training programs and techniques for the dogs and their owners. My name is Jeff Wolfson, and I am the owner of Superior Dog Training serving the Atlanta Georgia metro area.
Superior Dog Training provides many dog training services and programs. Before we take on any dog we would like to conduct an In-home evaluation with the dog or puppy, including the owner and family. The evaluation helps us to determine on what type of program or service the dog owner needs. Our in home evaluation takes around an hour to accomplish.
Dog obedience training can be conducted at almost any age. It is best to start a dog training management system shortly after you bring your dog or puppy home. Superior Dog Training usually provides dog training programs for dogs or puppies between the ages of 9 weeks to 9 years old. The older dogs are very trainable but they might be a little more stubborn.
We have many affordable training classes for all dogs and puppies too. Training for obedience will give dog owners the knowledge and confidence to include their dogs in their daily lives, no matter when or where their are. We rescued our dog Ava 2 months ago and quickly realized there was trauma in her past that we were not equipped to handle on our own. I did a ton of research to find the best approach to training her and stumbled across Superior Training and Jeff's page. The thing that made me choose him was that he never uses treats or shock collars like all the other typical trainers out there, and focuses on the psychology of the dogs behavior instead.
It has been an amazing experience first to have the tools to correct the bad behavior problems and second the confidence to be her pack leader and sync our connection and trust. I cannot recommended him enough, and we will be reaching back out in the future to continue her training in more advanced ways!

Superior Dog training is the real deal. Jeff's vast knowledge and understanding of my dog's personality type made it quick for him to access her Strengths and weaknesses and create a plan to get her to behave significantly better overall. A few very clear improvements have been between my roommates and dog, walking, and jumping on guests. Highly recommend!

Our dog Brooklyn had spent a year with another local trainer (who exclusively used treats & praise) and made little progress. He was super leash reactive to people and dogs and would chase anything that moved. He is 80lbs so I quickly dreaded walks as his behavior became worse. We started to become defeated as every other trainer we called only used an e-collar and we are strongly against them. Thankfully, we found Jeff!
We quickly learned Brooklyn needed more boundaries inside the home to ease his anxiety, we bought his leash which is a gamechanger, and overall are more equipped to correct his behavior. He has made more progress with Jeff in 7 lessons than he did with the other trainer in 20+ lessons. It's not easy but it's worth it - trust the process!

I rescued Luna a little over a year ago. She was very difficult to manage around animals and people. Now is she more relaxed and obedient. This is my first time having a dog, and I looked up dog trainers in Atlanta. I found Jeff, he seemed to have success with rescue dogs. He taught me how to get Luna to listen to basic commands like sit, stay, come. The leash Jeff invented helps me take control. She has done so well, we are now doing off-leash training. I highly recommend Jeff, Luna behaves so much better!

Jeff's 6 week dog training program not only helped with our new puppy's obedience but also potty training! He was also able to work with our aggressive French Bulldog and show us what to do to prevent him from showing further aggression. His program covers everything from preventing leash pulling, potty training, to teaching your dog to obey you and your commands.
I would recommend Jeff at Superior Dog training to anyone who has a unruly dog or if you have a new puppy and need help training them! Thank you Jeff for teaching us how to be better dog parents to our 2 French bulldogs.

The most excellent dog training. Very nice and respectable. Jeff gives you the knowledge you need to train your dog consistently. A very awesome trainer. The REAL DEAL! If you are looking for a true dog whisperer, than look no further. We have been working with Jeff for a few weeks and our 2 small terriers have been transformed. We noticed a SIGNIFICANT difference in our 12 week old puppy after just the initial assessment! A night and day difference - from being hyper, super needy and biting everything in sight to more calm and subdued.
Our 11 year old dog has lessened in her aggression towards the puppy and is learning how to finally obey basic commands. I called 4 or 5 other trainers in the north Atlanta region and was most impressed with Jeff's system and pricing package. Our puppy is a Chiweenie Mix and for those of you who have one know that this was the reason for my call in the first place!
We are finally seeing an end in sight for potty training! Our 11 year old is a terrier mix with a heavy alpha drive and slight aggression. We are seeing a major change here too. I encourage you to enlist Superior Dog Training especially if you have small dogs who think they run your house!

It has been an absolute pleasure working with Jeff. I was personally weary about pursuing group training because I wanted more one-on-one guidance.
