Longview was founded in 1956 in the same location that it is today, then known as Vincent Kennels. Consistent with the Vincents' tradition, the owners have always resided on the property. Throughout the years, Longview has grown to 2 large dog kennel buildings, an all purpose dog grooming salon & a separate cat boarding area.
Longview strives to be a home away from home for your dog(s)! At Longview, we provide safe, spacious indoor/outdoor runs for all dogs, big and small. All dogs are provided attention, love, and care by an experienced staff. The dogs know we love them and often wait by the door to go into the facility and give one more goodbye before leaving.
Longview knows that cats are divine creatures, but are prone to being picky! We treat our cats to a comfortable, flexible space to explore or relax as they please. Your precious friend enjoys a view out of a picture window, so he or she can bird watch, sunbathe, and listen to the sound of nature at ease.
Pamper your pet with the luxury of dog grooming! When your dog is in need of a haircut, Longview Boarding & Grooming can provide the best cut in Troy as well as a shampoo and any other necessary grooming. We value skill and expertise to give every pup the star treatment he/she deserves. We delight in bathing and clipping nails to make happy, healthy dogs.

We have been customers of Longview for many years. Our 14-year old lab spent many winters at Longview while we were in FL. We found the owners to be fantastic people and their staff are the BEST! They treated our Sunshine like she was their dog. If you want the #1 place to take your pet and have it pampered - Longview is the place for you! Many, many thanks to Amanda, Mike, Angela, and all the lovely folks who took care of Sunshine over the years.
